Clean, Unified Infrastructure Visibility with Easy Dashboards and Alerts
What do you like best about the product?
The platform provides us a clean, unified view across the entire infrastructure - network, HCI, hardware, services.
It is easy to set up dashboards and the out-of-the-box alerts, which saved our team significant configuration time.

The interface feels quite old school and less intuitive than other software out there.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us solve the problem of fragmented visibility by allowing us to monitor our network traffic, HCI clusters, sand physical hardware alongside our active services in one place.

Solarwinds is not complicated to implement or maintain. It’s easy to learn, and its intuitive console keeps the learning curve manageable.
What do you dislike about the product?
It’s not that other software is easy to upgrade, but Solarwinds should find ways to make upgrades simpler and reduce upgrade failures.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Basic observability and monitoring give me peace of mind. Being able to glace at your dashboard and see the health of your infrastructure is very assuring.

There’s a steep learning curve because the interface is complex, and the cost is also a concern.

Monitoring across hybrid IT environments is simplified by unifying network, infrastructure, database, and application performance in a single AI-powered platform. It helps reduce alert fatigue, eliminates tool sprawl, and shortens troubleshooting time, so teams can address issues more proactively and deliver better overall experiences.

it you have all the items able to be monitored it replaces the traditional Orion with less flexibility but all SaaS, and good function.
What do you dislike about the product?
Its quite powerful if you have AWS or Azure workloads, when you are all SaaS like me and do not have those and are serverless, its far harder to drive ROI.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I needed a SaaS observability platform similar to Data dog, New relic etc. Also something more powerful than pingdom.
