Great tool with unlimited potential
What do you like best about the product?
The customer service is very receptive..
What do you dislike about the product?
A bit rough around the edges. New tools are only added to pro.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Difficulty making consistent test procedures makes test analytics much more efficient.
Not as intimidating as it seems
What do you like best about the product?
I like how flexible and feature packed it is, once you get used to using it
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI can get pretty confusin sometimes. Even after using it for a while, sometimes I still find myself getting lost on some menu.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For a tech company it is very important to have a place where we can document standart operating procedures and share them with our colleagues.
Best Digital Procedure Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I love the efficiency of using digital procedures. Making redlines is easy and having a documentation trail of all of the updates is very useful. This prevents the mess of having a bunch of papers around that you could potentially lose. Everything is straightforward and easy to learn. If anything is ever confusing, Epsilon3 is very helpful in both fixing bugs, taking recommendations, and pointing out easy ways to use the tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have nothing negative to say about Epsilon3.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Epsilon3 is solving the issue of having paper procedures in a test environment.
Epsilon works quite well
What do you like best about the product?
Intuitive, well arranged, easy to update, easy to integrate
What do you dislike about the product?
Slightly difficult to organize procedures, no in-app training/reference info
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Developing standardized procedures for manufacturing -- reducing wasted time, knowledge segmentation, etc.
With some training, this tool is invaluable to our procedures
What do you like best about the product?
Great response time between different users simultaneously executing the procedure. The editing process is great as well, as multiple people can work at the same time. Additionally, the comments/feedback option is good during peer review. Our company uses this software for many of our important procedures, and we have not had connectivity issues. Customer support also responds very fast and gives solutions that work. FInally, the desktop app is very conveninent when you want to get to epsilon fast, and the UI itself is pretty easy to work with.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some clunkiness when it comes to copy and pasting sections. We've had trouble in the past trying to make similar but slightly different tables, and we are unable to do a quick copy and paste like you would do in microsoft word or excel. Building in "loops" for steps can also be an issue, as there is a bit of a convoluted process using conditionals.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Epsilon3 helps with having multiple users perform and log tasks concurrently, especially for remote operations. Instead of having a sole operator log all the tasks that are accomplished, individuals are able to work in tandem with each other without needing to be in the same room. The response time is really great as well, as it takes less than a couple seconds for a user action to be logged in system.
Interesting platform
What do you like best about the product?
I Enjoy that guides are able to be centralized and the workflow is able to be followed per process.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like that E3 pretty much forces us to follow the guide to the T to be able to properly follow the flow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is allowing us to have a centralized SOP
Epsilon 3 is invaluable
What do you like best about the product?
It is a great resource for locating procedural documents. It is even searchable
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not found any negatives yet. I have not used it much, but it has always been helkpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
New updates to existing procedures
Fantastic
What do you like best about the product?
It is incredible that I can tag and link to other processes or procedures directly within another. Eliminates the need for repetitive abs unnecessary searching.
What do you dislike about the product?
A little tricky to get started with at first but it has a learning curve. Also, redlining or just commenting can sometimes get lost, especially if it has been "resolved".
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Eliminating paper TPS and JHA documents and making them digital.
Supporting The Dream Chaser Space Race
What do you like best about the product?
Epsilon is very organized and has speeding functions, actions and shortcut options. Very high quality displays and quick button movements thru the programs. The ability to add photos and comments for work progress is anice feature
What do you dislike about the product?
Some search functions do not find the needed internal information. Input of some numbers and letters for search are slow to respond. Side-bar controls are cumbersome and skip around some of the work order information.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having a central source for work processes and progressive completion of work with quality inspector and engineer over-sight. Able to reference back to prior work in archive documents and other associated work orders
Epsilon3 as a knowledge base review
What do you like best about the product?
The procedure runs in Epsilon 3 greatly improve the clarity of what steps need to be taken. The different options leading to different runs greatly assist with filtering out unnecessary data. Optimized Epsilon3 runs greatly improve the customer support exprience in making the time to solution shorter. The procedure runs can be created easily and precisely and can be inplemented in outside resources to immediately integrate to the required procedure. A properly set up and expanded Epsilon3 Master Procedure list can be used daily for all questions.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a learning curve to using Epsilon3 as a newbie on the product. The names of the procedure runs could be a tad confusing and not clear on what issue they're created to help you with although frequent use and refining could help solve this issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Combining knowledge bases into one platform and simplifying the processes that lead to a solution by sorting out the data necessary for the particular situation at hand by choosing the different options that point to different steps. All of this leads to an easier way to get information that would be needed and decreasing the time required to help out customers.
