Supporting The Dream Chaser Space Race
What do you like best about the product?
Epsilon is very organized and has speeding functions, actions and shortcut options. Very high quality displays and quick button movements thru the programs. The ability to add photos and comments for work progress is anice feature
What do you dislike about the product?
Some search functions do not find the needed internal information. Input of some numbers and letters for search are slow to respond. Side-bar controls are cumbersome and skip around some of the work order information.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having a central source for work processes and progressive completion of work with quality inspector and engineer over-sight. Able to reference back to prior work in archive documents and other associated work orders
Epsilon3 as a knowledge base
What do you like best about the product?
Refined Epsilon3 procedure runs with added time for familiarity do relay the steps that need to be taken clearly.
What do you dislike about the product?
The role definitions of users get reset occasionally needing work to restore and the loading time of initial login each time is too lengthy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Combining knowledge bases into one platform and simplifying the processes that lead to a solution by sorting out the data necessary for the particular situation at hand by choosing the different options that point to different steps. All of this leads to an easier way to get information that would be needed and decreasing the time required to help out customers.
Great customer service
What do you like best about the product?
Epsilon3 has been great with customer service. They are easy to contact and very helpful in the implementation of there application.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have not found any issues with the Epsilon3.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Streamlining our process and procedures, with simple input and export of data.
Epsilon3 is our go to software for critical testing and operational procedures
What do you like best about the product?
I use Epsilon3 almost daily when deployed to our test site, and semi regularly when working from the office.
Compared to other test procedure writing/execution software I have used, Epsilon3 has the most functionality, smoothest operation (in terms of loading in a web browser and allowing steps to be executed quickly and easily), and most logical user interface (no hidden buttons, well labelled etc.).
We have also moved to version control of high level test and operational procedures, and the ability to suggest edits, add redline/blueline steps to procedures as they are conducted is a very effective way to save suggested changes without unapproved changes to the released procedures.
We also work at a remote test site which has limited network coverage. Epsilon3 has worked flawlessly, allowing us to continue testing and completing procedures even with intermittent network access.
The ability to have simple logic/numerical calculations built into run steps is also a great feature, eliminating the need for operators to do manual calculations in high stress environments.
Coming from our other software packages, procedures can be far more easily written and implemented, even for inexperienced users.
I can't comment on customer/technical support as I still haven't had to use it!

What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have any notable dislikes of Epsilon3!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Epsilon3 has been invaluable for execution of testing activities which need to follow a defined procedure. When conducting tests, we need to be able to focus on the task at hand. Having an efficient, non laggy software package is critical for this to avoid unnecessary distractions and time lost while testing. Epsilon3 has provided this.

Marvelous compared to piles and piles of on-paper checklists
What do you like best about the product?
We are still very happy with Epsilon3 two years later -- as the nature of our organization being an educational-oriented aerospace engineering team, its integrated approach to checklists, process management and multi-user collaboration features allows new members and students not familiar to this project before to be able to quickly get themselves up to speed and learn the real world of standardization of complex processes. We expect epsilon3 to continue being a critical centerpiece of our processes for the future to come.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface could also be better optimized for small screen mobile platforms (eg. phones) to better enable operations on the move (eg. in the back of a moving van while tracking telemetry) so that an iPad or laptop isn't constantly required for reliable use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Checklists, Standard Operating Procedures and instructions. They are most beneficial in both removing the old school paper manuals, and also digitizing them into a platform that allows for both the on-the-fly modification to them, as well as the ability of multi-user collaborations within the team.
It works!
What do you like best about the product?
While I like the tools they provide to our business
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface and some navigation gets confusing at times.

Good People, Easy Interface, Still Developing More Capabilities
What do you like best about the product?
The staff at Epsilon 3 is amazing. They consistently answer my questions quickly and kindly. If I run into a feature that I think would add value to Epsilon 3, they take my feedback and review if it is feasible to add. The interface is also clean and easy to use. After watching a couple training videos and clicking around their help website, anybody should be able to use it. Adding files, photos, and new test boxes are easy to do.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not all of the nitty gritty deep capabilites are implemented in Epsilon 3 yet. Other procedure software I've used has had a little more integration between each procedure. I think Epsilon 3 has the capability to get there once they develop a little more.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Procedure writing - helps all the procedures stay organized and makes it easier to write them.
