What do you like best about the product?
Easy way of determining shifts and hours worked. Easy to swap shifts.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some minor glitches from time to time. Notifications don't always get sent or appear when they should.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy for staff to swap or give away shifts to others.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try it, you can always just check it out in the trial version. Make sure every staff member is set up properly. Each staff has their own login code, so I feel security is taken care of. Everyone has their own picture too and the ability to assign tasks to all staff. You no longer need to worry about scheduling conflicts and fixing other peoples schedules. What do you like best about the product?
I help out at a bike shop on the weekends and this app makes it really easy to check in and see when I'm needed
What do you dislike about the product?
Because there are 2 locations for the bike shop, I tend to have trouble viewing both locations schedules.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Deputy makes it easy to keep everyone on the same page.

Robust management for variable hour employees

What do you like best about the product?
The iPad “kiosk” time clock feature is by far the most robust option out there amongst terminals for web based systems — with photo id and offline sync, it’s the most secure option.
What do you dislike about the product?
The API is a bit difficult to use and the documentation is not very good. Support is available but somewhat inconsistent. Lack of custom fields in the pro plan seems like an easy fix.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It’s made payroll a lot easier for management and for staff. It also gives more assurance that payroll is right.

What do you like best about the product?
Deputy is easy to use, straight forward, and hassle-free. I was very happy my company made the switch to this service for scheduling, time sheets, and time off.
What do you dislike about the product?
nope! I have been very happy with Deputy and not complaints!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows stream-lining for organizing shifts and schedules. It takes all the stress out of managing many different schedules.

What do you like best about the product?
It's super easy to schedule. It's easy to copy and move shifts around. I've really enjoyed using it.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike is more of an issue with permissions given to certain people. There are things I'm not able to change that I should be able to. Its only a minor inconvenience however. There's is also a glitch when inviting staff to pick up a shift that they no longer see it after opening the notification
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scheduling is obviously much easier than an Excel spreadsheet. The benefits are clear. There's so many options.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can see my schedule ahead of time, look at the upcoming weeks, request time off, and see work announcements all in one place. It's nice that it connects to my email so I can get notifications, but I can file those emails away and log into my deputy account to see it all in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
I hate when it surveys me right as I'm clocking on. I don't want to lose time clocking in answering a survey question. I also dislike how work announcements pop up and I have to navigate away from the screen in order to clock in. I would like to read work announcements on the clock. If it could just pop up as a notification on my sign in screen, that would be an awesome improvement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I love being able to request time off via Deputy rather than emailing my boss. Both my employer and I can see when I have requested and we don't have to sift through emails to find that information. I also love seeing all my shifts laid out so cleanly--before my shifts were sent to me via email on a spreadsheet and it was so tiny and hard to read.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I think it's a great software for the company of our size. We have about 50 employees and it's a great option for both our local and remote employees.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to coordinate with others on changing/switching shifts is helpful as it leaves out third party unless needed. Scheduling is easier and allows employees to handle rearranging last minute.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I do not get alerts on my phone, possibly due to service. Sometimes I miss posts because of this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Coordinating with a large number of people is so much easier; making changes to a schedule without numerous back and forth (saves time) m.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Determine if you can reach those who are not able to be online in a timely manner.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the app that i downloaded to my phone. It puts all my shifts into my calendar and reminds me when I need to leave for work.
What do you dislike about the product?
clocking off on the computer can be a little slow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I love having all my shifts at my finger tips and being able to message my boss when I forget to clock off.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you use it for work, get the app for your phone. Its amazing! Everything is at my finger tips and make it so easy to use.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how user friendly Deputy is. I have had no issues learning how to use it, and it is very intuitive. Both the web version and the mobile version are great. I am happy that it is easy to send messages to anyone/everyone using it. I also like that I can see everyone's schedule, switch shifts around, etc. This is very easy to use in comparison to other scheduling methods I've used in the past.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not anything I would change about Deputy. It includes ways to communicate with everyone using it, sync to my calendar, and ease of use. I really enjoy using Deputy for scheduling.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Deputy is very useful for scheduling shifts. It is nice that employees can choose whichever shift they want through Deputy, while also seeing who is working during any other shift.
