Handy and simple software for small business management
What do you like best about the product?
It's very easy to navigate and send relavent messages to employees and coworkers. Also great for a simple online time clock system.
What do you dislike about the product?
No complaints currently! It's easy to log on, clock on or off, and then move on with my life! Sometimes a window will pop up asking me "How likely are you to recommend Deputy to a friend?" And it gets annoying but honestly I would recommend it!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy clocking on and off, and I love that there's a phone app so you can easily see your work schedule from your phone!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Go for it! Simple user interface, dependable system, great software.

Great time clock with accompanying app!
What do you like best about the product?
I really like that I am able to clock in and out in my phone through the app and see how long my lunch break is in real time.
What do you dislike about the product?
At least once a week when I’m logging in to clock in it asks me to review the program and it slows me down when I’m usually trying to get started on my work. I feel asking that after clovking out would be better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having all our team’s time sheets in one place frees up time for HR and finance employees.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Works great for a team like ours where there are employees in a central office but also remote employees spread out across the US.
Very user friendly and helps the department

That I can put in all my times of unavailability and when the schedule comes out it’s just all right there. I can always see who I’m working with and what time I need to be there

I dislike that I don’t get to use it often enough

Not having to send a thousand I digital emails. Everyone is all linked together.

Nice clean simple interface. Easy rostering and love ability to copy week to week.
What do you dislike about the product?
We would really love an integration with our accounting software Xero that we use for payroll . Would save a bunch of manual data entry.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ability to track our employees hours worked with very little fuss and admin. Also simple solution for rosters.

Great product for time tracking and rostering. Easy to use and employees love it.
Makes Payroll a Breeze
What do you like best about the product?
I loved using Deputy to keep track of staff working each day and which section of the company they were working from that day, also fantastic to have my manager schedule my shift for the week and see everything so clearly. I'm a huge fan.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't dislike a thing about Deputy. The app is great, the admin are helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping the payroll team I was able to pull reports showing anything I needed from who is on leave and what kind of leave to how many total hours all staff had worked that week etc

You won't regret using this software at all. Made my roll in admin so much easier.
Scheduling time cut in half!
What do you like best about the product?
Great balance for all employees concerning notifications and ease of use! Our scheduling time has been cut in half.

The app has a few less features than the online version.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Less time spent on scheduling and features that allow employees to navigate their own schedule.
A Excellent Payroll Management Tool!
What do you like best about the product?
The support for mobile devices is easily my favorite Deputy feature. The app is snappy and updated often.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the mobile app is my favorite feature, I would like to see more supervisor options added to the app.

A mobile device app available to employees has given our staff a new found investment in their paycheck.

Go for it! Deputy is a modern take on the tired tradition of punching a clock making it easier to track payroll and make adjustments on the fly.
