What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use.

Easy to communicate with team

Need an iPad compatibility.

When exporting roster for printing. Wish you could just filter one person for printing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy monitoring of staff and adjusting when required.

What do you like best about the product?
User friendly and essential records are kept, as well as useful reports can be run. I think that there is a lot more that we can do with Deputy and we need to take the time to learn all that it offers
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it is very slow (site) for team to clock on/off and they do complain to us.
It is also frustrating that people can't apply for 'unavailable' dates if a roster has been done (or drafted and not published) as casuals need to be able to do this and can't if there is also a shift in place (even if they can't see it). So then they have to contact the manager and make arrangements. Would be much better if they can apply and alert comes up for manager to accept and then re-roster that shift.
Also good if team can reverse their leave - this happens quite a bit and a manager has to delete it once it has been approved. If a team member can either delete or apply to delete and then the manager receives an alert would be ideal?
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Rosters, timesheets through to our payroll, onboarding, essential docs/licences, team news, hours management (per week, per fortnight etc) retrospective shift reporting for fatigue management.

Can schedule staff and track hours easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
Updating hours and overriding submissions are not easy.
Have to pay for an admin user that doesn't use the roster
Can't make time blocks as holidays periods, events, etc.

Makes employee scheduling easy

Great Tool for Scheduling and Productivity

What do you like best about the product?
Scheduling tool is phenomenal, I love the way it moves right over to the timesheet and is easy to use for my team members. The timeclock is simple and easy to install. We also love the tasks app and the integration with our payroll software.
What do you dislike about the product?
We wish that the newsfeed had a one-on-one DM option instead of the newsfeed option for every type of message. Also I wish that the task reporting had more options.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Deputy has put so much time back on my schedule and made the integration between my timekeeping and payroll so simple. Also the attendance tracking is huge for us. We also love the scheduling app for the phones. The availability feature is wonderful as well. The integration with Gusto has been amazing.

What do you like best about the product?
With a staff of over 30, Deputy helps us to collect the timesheets for all staff in one easy to use location.
It also helps to distribute important comunications to staff via one chanel.
We are only at the tip of the iceberg in discoving all the benefits of Deputy and hope to implement more and more features within our company to continue to reep it's benefits.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the awards used in our company are not avaible current within Deputy. We hope to see this improved in the future.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking Staff Time and attendance with minimum review and research required.

What do you like best about the product?
I can keep up with staff rostering much better! App is extremely easy to follow, my staff are enjoying it
What do you dislike about the product?
Glitching when checking posts on deputy app,
Photos take forever to load, could do better by sending reminders to staff that have not confirmed important posts

What do you like best about the product?
It gives great insights as to how much is spent per week on wages, helping me with my labour margin. It is also very user friendly, clear and fast. The log in and out system is brilliant and ensures that I can keep on top of people's hours.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's somethings which are stronger on the phone/laptop. It would be better if they were the same.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It makes it clear to employees how much holiday they have accrued. It also takes human error out of the equation when calculating hours worked.

What do you like best about the product?
Deputy is easy to use with a menu that makes sense. The support at Deputy has been very responsive. It was easy to implement. We are integrating with our payroll company and it's going very well. It has the features we are looking for. We have approximately 50 employees and we use and monitor the system daily.
What do you dislike about the product?
I could not do Scheduling on a global level to limit clock in time without having to schedule each employee.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We previously used paper time cards that the employees would fill out days after the event. Deputy is giving us a much more accurate time record.
