Doesn't do supa and tax rates for employees.

The cloud based system. That staff and myself can access deputy on any device anywhere

payroll side is still somewhat complicated for us but we may just need to change up the way we do things

People not showing up for shifts, even hours for all staff, proper budgeting

I looked at 8 different scheduling and clock station companies, I found that Deputy was the best for value, ease of use, and support

It works great. Easy to see all employees shifts, and plan, it's great.
What do you dislike about the product?
As an adminstrator I cannot submit timesheets for the managers approval.

Super efficient, and great for people and time management.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy for employee use. Have issues with them clocking in-and-out via phone but we can mitigate that with tools available. Reporting is decent but could be better.

More reporting options:

Ease of use, 24/7 support
I love that i can easily schedule time off requests, vacations, unavailability. I also love that it is real time and i can pull it up and make changes on my phone for all to see

What do you dislike about the product?
Disabled the clock in feature initially while we were using it and it still tells you you are late to clock in!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Huge benefits for our hospital with multiple locations so that you can make sure employees are not scheduled in numerous departments at the same time. Able to use for whole hospital scheduling and to track attendance, tardiness and requests so much easier.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability of our staff to choose the shifts they want, make trades, and clock in/out.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some areas of customization that still need to be fleshed out like deleting templates for weeks and other items.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scheduling has been eating up our time as owners as our business started to grow. We are spending significantly less time scheduling. Also it reduces issues where employees had not submitted manual timesheets before payroll is due.

It is a great product that really does what we need. We looked at other products and this was the best fit for our escape room business.

user friendly, easy to navigate, good source of information with schedule and time sheets available.

scheduling method, geo location does not always work, auto clock out does not always work, notifications seem to be random.

That what used to take me 8 hours per week now takes me less than 2

That staff can make themselves unavailable without getting it authorised.

Time management, communication of changes. More time to focus on staff.

Try it - get help to set it up then just go for it. I procrastinated too long!! I wish I had just gone with it asap
