What do you like best about the product?
The program is so simple to use, I love it, my staff love it - it's a win-win. I can do rosters at my desk, at home, at the beach in fact anywhere I need to - great flexibility. The amount I time I save now doing staff rosters and timesheets, far outweighs the cost of Deputy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am yet to find a fault with this product. I researched a lot of different rostering systems, some companies pressured you immediately to pay for their product, with Deputy I was able to trial for 30 days and there was no ask for any credit card details.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Staff rosters used to take the best part of a day, now it is less than 1 hour. Not having to wait for staff to send in their hours worked by text or email also greatly cuts the amount of time for payroll each week as well.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Give this one a go - you won't be disappointed

What do you like best about the product?
Deputy helps you schedule your staff easy and hassle free. It cuts the paperwork and emails down and allows all staff to access the software with ease. You can use Deputy anywhere at anytime!
What do you dislike about the product?
would love notifications for annual leave and time off to pop up on screen when opening so they are not missed as when you look through notifications they get missed as no obvious.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Deputy saves time with paperwork. Helps keep staff in control through one piece of software.

its easy once unavailability is given. everything is automatic. swaping shift is easy as well

Providing unavailability instead of availability is bit hard

What do you like best about the product?
Ease and access of the schedule for both computers and mobile devices
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really. I wish there was a way to view reports and request offs on the mobile app.

Being able to distribute our schedule to all employees quickly. Accurately tracking request offs and vacations.

What do you like best about the product?
Finally I do not have to worry about expending hours creating a roster. Moreover, updating every single employees hours on a daily basis.
Being able to divide every location into task help us a lot to differentiate better tasks.

I would like to have more options to add format. Some times is hard to differentiate empleyees from team leaders or

Reaching casual employees was difficult but know they can make changes and swap shifts in real time without coming to me every single time.

What do you like best about the product?
Wage costing; gives us a forecast of the staff costing before we get to the end of the week and its too late to cut costs
What do you dislike about the product?
Setup is time consuming, but once set up it is easy to manage
Roster view is a bit messy
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Wage costs; we are more on the ball with when and where to cut wages

Put the time in to set up properly and make use of as much of the program as possible to get the best results

What do you like best about the product?
More important the transition has simplified the process for scheduling which is now organized, easy and fun. With multiple departments to manage throughout the States, “Deputy” has given us easy access to manage all departments

There is nothing I dislike about deputy.I absolutely love everything about Deputy. This software has everything that my department needs and more. The simplicity of the software is amazing...
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Every member is invited to download the Deputy app, they are able to view their schedule, customize their profile, request time off and received approval all from their smart phones. Team members don't have to wait to view their schedule. Once the schedule is completed they are able to view from their phones.

I highly recommend "Deputy" to any organization

What do you like best about the product?
Lots of functionality between mobile and web app. Fairly easy to use. Good customer support. Provides exactly what we needed at a great price point. Integrates easily with Quickbooks payroll.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing comes to mind. It really does what we need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Employee time tracking, labor cost analysis, consistent scheduling. Better employee accountability. Better communication on scheduling. Easy labor cost reporting.

EASY TO USE, LOVE ALL THE FEATURES AVAILABLE FOR EMPLOYEES. VERY EASY TO SCHEDULE AND SWAP SHIFTS, EVEN WITH HAVING TWO LOCATIONS.

INACCURACY OF LOCATION, SOMETIMES IT STATES WE ARE FURTHER AWAY FROM SHOP THEN WE ARE. FOR EXAMPLE WE WILL BE STANDING INSIDE AND IT SHOWS US ACROSS THE STREET

SCHEDULING CONFLICTS. TIME OFF, UNAVAILABILITY, WE LIKE HOW YOU CAN PUBLISH SOMETHING IMPORTANT AND MAKE SURE EVERYONE SEES THE POST AND CONFIRMS. A LOT OF COMMUNICATION PROBLEMS HAVE BEEN SOLVED USING THIS APPLICATION.
