Deputy is Easy and Convenient

What do you like best about the product?
Notes feature and ability to track location with GPS, drop-down pre-written options (created by my employer) that I can select from since we offer a multitude of services that have to be documented
What do you dislike about the product?
Cannot see total hours in a pay period, cannot see total of hours in a day. Ex. If I work multiple shifts in a day, it only shows me a total when I put my notes in, but when I submit I can no longer see that total.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cannot see total hours in a pay period, or even a total of hours per week; difficulty with alerts (too many texts, alerts when others are late to clock in)
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Currently cannot view number of hours worked in a pay period or per week; Useful to have GPS on so if you have people working at multiple sites you can physically see that they were where they said that they were

Being able to clock in through the app and keep track of what shifts are available

There isn't full profiles for the employees

Scheduling, Keeping track of employees, Being able to easily contact staff

Give employees proper walkthrough of how app works or hold a training seminar for app

What do you like best about the product?
Deputy has allow us to manage our team effectively.
What do you dislike about the product?
As of this moment, I am happy with the software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to visualize how many team members you have on a daily basis, helps to ensure coverage. The feature of time off request and news feed has helped monitor time off and be updated on the latest news of the department. Also, allowing us to see each team members weekly hours helps us to ensure we schedule them according to the departments needs.

The ease of making the schedule, changing shifts, and the reports that we can access

Sometimes Deputy lags and takes a long time to refresh

End of night reporting and paying staff are much easier and faster. This also gives us a better look at our forecasted labour

We can organize 200 shifts a week in half the time and update remotely as required

Apple app version could be improved, great with safari

What do you like best about the product?
The Deputy support team have been very helpful in what has been a time-consuming integration process between our POS system and Deputy, so sales data can be pushed to help predict rostering and wage costs.

The general rostering capabilities are fantastic and we are exploring all of the other benefits the software provides with great results.
What do you dislike about the product?
The integration process has been lengthy, as there have been a few issues that needed to be worked out along the way. But i believe this is one of the first integrations between the two systems, so it is expected.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to provide daily wage percentages from near live sales data helps us to predict how we should roster, including times of peak sales.

It seems to suit our business and cope with the varying shifts, work hours, staff availability and communication around these issues. It is also affordable.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes performance (response times) could be better.

It has saved a lot of time and makes it easy to communicate late changes.
