Easy to Use, Reliable, High-Quality Recordings Every Time
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use and reliability. I always get great quality recordings!
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have any complaints. Always smooth for me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Quality assurance: I am always struggling with Teams and Zoom to get solid audio and video quality.
Easy-to-Use Riverside with Excellent Quality and Helpful AI Tools
What do you like best about the product?
I really like how easy Riverside is to use—it makes recording and producing content feel straightforward. The video and audio quality are excellent, and the AI tools are genuinely helpful. Magic Audio stands out in particular because it balances sound really well, boosting quieter speakers and smoothing out overly loud ones. I also appreciate that subtitles are generated automatically and that I can edit videos directly on the platform, which saves a lot of time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally there are some technical hiccups—for example, the upload percentage doesn’t always display correctly, which can be a bit confusing. I’ve also run into issues with guests’ audio, like their microphones not being recognized or inconsistent sound quality. It would also help if echo cancellation were enabled by default to prevent common audio problems, especially for less technical users.
Pricing is ok, some plans are on the expensive side, but starter ones are fine.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It integrates with HubSpot, which is a big plus. Whenever I run into issues, their support has been stellar and really responsive. The studio itself also delivers great audio and video quality, especially for the plan I’m on.
Straightforward, Easy to Use, and Always Improving
What do you like best about the product?
Straightforward, easy to use. I like how they're adding new features all the time as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing so far. Everything I've seen, I like.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Right now, it's helping me not only do interviews with people but it gives me the transcription, which is a big, big, big deal.
Riverside Makes Virtual Interviews Effortless Across Devices
What do you like best about the product?
Riverside makes setting up virtual interviews a breeze. I like the versatility in what can be used to conduct interviews with interviewees, as well. Not just computer with webcam, but tablet and phone. Extremely helpful to have that flexibility.
What do you dislike about the product?
The in house video editor is okay, but it isn’t always intuitive or robust. And sometimes runs very slowly.
Also, I record my audio in 48k and Riverside states it does, as well. However, when I export videos, they export at 44.1k and I don’t understand why. Also, so I have experienced uploading a video to be hosted and shared that uploads fine, but will fall out of sync on other websites that Riverside shares to. This is remedied sometimes by re-uploading, but not always.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to get the best quality audio and video from those I interview without me having to either fly them in or for me to travel there.
Riverside: User-Friendly, Intuitive, and Always Improving
What do you like best about the product?
Riverside is super user-friendly and intuitive. There are regular updates and improvements that the team communicates well so you know what's new, what's changed or what has been enhanced. I've described it to folks as "Canva for video editing and production."
What do you dislike about the product?
I want the Co-Pilot to be more intuitive and for updated transcripts from finished episodes (versus the original, uncut interview) to be available so that time stamping for clips is easier. Giving Co-Pilot timestamps to clip out of a finished episode would be so much easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am a one-person podcaster, starting to bring in volunteers to help with clipping and editing. Everyone has been able to easily jump in and learn Riverside on their own thanks to its intuitive interfacing and the library of how-to videos.
For Anyone Starting a Podcast, Implement Riverside: Easy Magic Clips, Hooks, and Smart Comments
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to easily record a podcast from my home studio with a guest anywhere in the world. I can leave comments in the recording for either myself or my teammate to finesse quickly to become a professional audio and video podcast. As a bonus, I really love the magic clips and hooks feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish you could create graphic thumbnails, eliminating another step for me in publishing to YouTube or social media.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It speeds up the journey to publishing podcast episodes. I started in late December 2025 recording episodes for the Look Up Mindset. By Feb 4th, 2026, I went live with my 1st episode and had until June 2026 scheduled.
My production department. Superior quality. All the Editing. Auto Reels. And Great Value
What do you like best about the product?
I love that the 2 perspectives are recorded separately so there's always clean audio and video. I love that the editing is started and the magic clips are created for me for social media. It's so superior to any other recording system! It doesn't integrate directly to calendly, but Riverside showed me how to get it connected. Now it automates it for me so all of my podcast recordings and webinars are a breeze! Their pricing is comparable to Zoom for so much more value. It replaces an employee. I edit my own hour long podcast in about 90-120 minutes and really like the results. Then, I use clips of that which Riverside automatically sorts by subject and scores for their effectiveness. I can even use AI to adjust my video so eye contact is direct! The magic sound seems to take all the background noise out that my microphone and studio don't filter and makes it sound more dynamic. I 'am a walking billboard, telling everyone about how effective it is, how powerful it is, how cheap it is, and how simple it is to use! I just want them to make all my software now!
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. truly. I have used Zoom, Teams, and Streamyard, among several others. None are as intuitive, or hold a candle to the ease of use or the results I get.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It gets me a high quality audio AND video recording, it lets me handle sign ups for my webinar, seamlessly with my automation systems, I had never hosted a webinar before but I was able to use the software easily to get the results I wanted. And the editing tools for both audio and video let me edit visually by text or by audio. I love that I can control the audio for both channels so if someone interrupts the other, I can mute that in post. It prevents me from having to hire a editor to keep my small business and podcast moving forward. Because it also generates images from the podcast and clips for shorts and reels, I'm able to get the free exposure on social media to build interest in the episode before it's released. It's my entire marketing team!
Overpriced compared to the competition
What do you like best about the product?
The software is good, when it works; however, our team has had problems with some of the features not always working properly.
What do you dislike about the product?
We ended up spending $20,000 to produce 15 YouTube videos with this service. After a year and a half, we found that it was too much for what we need. We tried working with the company to downgrade to a more suitable plan for our small business, but they were unwilling to work with us. Their contract has absolutely no “out” clause, so they can strong-arm you into staying.
In a year, we’ve had 3 different account managers. Perhaps the way they treat customers who have spent quite a large sum of money with them, is also how they treat their team internally.
We CANNOT recommend them.

We CANNOT recommend them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Riverside is like many other online interview / meeting software.
Simple, User-Friendly Podcast Recording Made Easy
What do you like best about the product?
It is simple to use and allows me to make my podcast simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it glitches out a bit. There isn't a non wifi option to record from.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
East transition and uplaod of media to streaming services.
Easy to Use, Reliable, and Packed with New Features
What do you like best about the product?
It's ease of use, reliability, and new features that create "all the things" to promote the recording/episodes.
What do you dislike about the product?
No true dislikes at all. I like Riverside overall.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves everything I need to create my podcast.
