Powerful, Always Improving Product with Great Customer Support

    Reviewed on Jul 10, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
Customer support is great, the product itself is powerful and getting better all the time!
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it feels like there are several paywalls to what I need (nickel and dime). And if I don't use those features all the time, I don't want to pay for them all the time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Recording and generating content for my podcast.

User-Friendly Podcasting - best platform out there. Period

    Reviewed on Jun 29, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
First, the platform is very user friendly. I was new to podcasting and I learned to do it quickly. Then, the support videos allowed me to learn on my time.
The output product is fantastic - the editing is simple and effective. But the magic story it builds is incredible.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be costly for the advanced tools - but once you pull the trigger it’s worth it. Still better than its competitors
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Editing the podcast to take out pauses and adding camera zooms. It’s benefiting my end product significantly

Effortless Recording and Amazing Text-Based Editing

    Reviewed on Jun 26, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful thing about Riverside is how easy it is to use. I can just hit record and let the AI lay the groundwork for me with cuts and clips, and the text-based editing is amazing. I also like that Riverside has added a lot of different ways to connect and share your content once it’s finished. They make it really easy to upload to different social media channels and other platforms, and you can even host your podcast and get an RSS feed.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think we’re still early in the AI journey, and there are simply some things that are better handled manually. I do believe it’s going to be good once AI catches up to the level of professional editing.Performance-wise, I'm still not sure if it is my connection and my computer that is slow or if it is the Riverside platform that takes a while to process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Right now, I’m a one-man show trying to produce a video podcast, so the low cost to get started and the support they offer can make a huge difference for a solo creator.

Riverside cut our podcast production time in half

    Reviewed on Jun 23, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
The recording quality with remote participants and the automated editing tools. We get professional results without the hours of manual production work.
What do you dislike about the product?
Audio replacement requires deleting and republishing rather than a simple file swap. It's a minor inconvenience, but it'd be nice to have a true replace option.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Remote podcast recording with consistent audio quality across multiple hosts, and reducing weekly production time from hours to minutes through automated editing and processing.

Riverside Scales Beautifully with Superb Support and Great Value

    Reviewed on Jun 22, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
Riverside grows with your needs, the support is superb, the price is excellent and the ai intelligence is just right
What do you dislike about the product?
I originally told people to download Chrome. And for an app that's cloud based people were used to only logging on via zoom and not having to download anything which caused me NOT to use Riverside and 3 occasions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's in the cloud so I can pick it up anywhere. That said... I would like to be able to work offline as well like I do with Final Cut Pro so I am not bothered with internet connection

What do you like best about the product?
I love how seemless the editing is. The ablity to edit text makes the process so easy.

THe new integrations to publish to spotlify is the best!

I also love the ablity to us AI prompting thumbnails.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the user flows aren't always intuitive, but that might just be my lack to proactive learning.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have an industry podcast that I produce "on the side" this turns a passion project into an easy task and not a whole production requiring hours of work.
