What do you like best about the product?

I have been using many other programs to edit and create our podcast. Riverside makes it so much easier to edit and save me at least an hour for video. The re are so many helpful tools in this program. Riverside came highly recommended on ChatGPT. I’m glad I decided to try it out and switch from what I was using before!

What do you dislike about the product?

Thumbnails are amazing but always the same look. I’m sure it’s me and how I am prompting. Other than that, I love this tool so much!

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Cuts pauses in one step, sound is easy to adjust, quality of picture is fantastic and scheduling people to join was so easy.

What do you like best about the product?

Riverside has a lot of great features that are easy to learn. It hits all the requirements for producing and publishing a quality podcast. While it may not contain all the editing abilities of a high-end product like Final Cut Pro, it has more than enough to make a quality recording. And the Riverside people keep adding features and improving the product. They are also very quick to respond to customer inquiries and issues. The AI features make editing a lot faster, and the integrations with all the podcasting hosting sites means I don't have to use other apps.

What do you dislike about the product?

The editor can be a little clunky at times, but Riverside has been very good about listening to customers to continually improve the performance.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Riverside solves the problem of having to edit podcast episodes from scratch, coming up with thumbnails, creating clips and hooks, and publishing to all the popular hosting sites. With this all in one place, I don't have to coordinate a bunch of different apps.

What do you like best about the product?

The amount of options and direct application to multiple outlets once done. The planner function is also extremely helpful.

What do you dislike about the product?

Time to proficiency. I'm just over a month in and still feel lost most times when I login. Even the things I do each week take time to find or build routines around. There are so many options, which is a good thing, but all at once is overwhelming for new users.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Posting a new podcast to multiple sites quickly and simultaneously.

What do you like best about the product?

I produce a weekly technology publication with video and podcast versions, and my guests are almost never in the same country as me. Riverside records each person locally, so the final file does not depend on how good the internet call was that day. That single feature solved my main problem. I also get separate tracks for each speaker, which makes editing much faster. The setup is simple enough that a guest who has never used the platform can open a browser link and be ready in a few minutes, which matters when the guest is a busy executive and I only have one hour of their time. I have been using it weekly and it has been stable.

What do you dislike about the product?

There is nothing I dislike about Riverside, what I'd like to have is the ability to save my media by project instead of having all media cross-projects.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

I record long interviews between Mexico City, the United States and Europe. Before, the quality of the recording depended on the connection during the call, and a weak connection meant a weak episode. Now the picture and the sound are the same quality no matter where the guest is. I also publish the same conversation in two formats, video on YouTube and audio as a podcast, and having clean separate files for each speaker means I do not have to fix problems later. It saves me hours of work on every episode.

What do you like best about the product?

I love the AI interface for Magic Clips and editing. It’s very easy to use, and exporting my content is just as straightforward.

What do you dislike about the product?

I honestly don’t have any dislikes at the moment, but I’m still learning more about it each week.

This has made editing my podcast so much easier, and it’s helped me save time.

What do you like best about the product?

Riverside has been a game changer at my company and in my own role! Being able to seamlessly record myself and others virtually and bring that recording right into other applications has been fantastic. After each call, Riverside's platform automatically generates AI clips, transcripts, captions for social media and so much more! The entire platform is so simple to utilize and is extremely reliable. The company, itself, is also so responsive to any concerns or feedback that I have and I know I can reach them if I ever run into any problems. And finally, the price for what you get has so much value, I see myself using Riverside for a long time.

Nothing really comes to mind at the moment!

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Riverside has eliminated the need for me to have 10+subscriptions for different tools when they now offer so many features in their single platform. Everything from transcription to video editing, to AI analysis, it's fantastic.

What do you like best about the product?

I like it is all in one, I like the affordability, I like the continued enhancements to the platforms and most importantly it is easy to use.

What do you dislike about the product?

I would like co-creator AI to continue to improve or better integration with LLM's like Claude or Gemini to create better processes.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

All in one, I have the ability to run multiple shows for the Bourbon Lens in one podcast and really truly see the impact it has on our podcast channel.

I like its high-quality recordings, easy-to-use interface, and reliable local recording feature, which makes creating professional content much easier.

What do you dislike about the product?

Sometimes the platform can feel slow to load, and a few editing features are limited compared to dedicated video editing software. It can also take a while to upload or process large recordings.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Riverside solves the problem of poor-quality online recordings by capturing audio and video locally instead of relying only on internet quality. This benefits me by helping me create professional-looking content with clear audio, fewer technical issues, and less time spent fixing recording problems afterward.

What do you like best about the product?

I love how easy Riverside is to use; it's very user-friendly and intuitive. The price is very low for the value provided. The AI features make it easy to edit and create professional content. Support is great, and if you have any questions, there are a ton of great resources.

What do you dislike about the product?

The only "problem" I've run into is getting my camera and mic connected and ensuring my browser is allowing access to both.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

I didn't know what I didn't know. I was new to podcasting and recording and found it very easy to understand the process from recording to editing.

What do you like best about the product?

Extremely easy to use and genuinely user-friendly. The vast majority of the features work very well, and the regular product updates keep it feeling cutting-edge. The embedded AI is excellent overall, although it still needs a bit of refinement. Pricing for an individual such as myself is quite reasonable given the value this tool brings. If you are a YouTuber, podcaster, frequent video-caller who likes to edit - this may be a one-stop shop tool for you.

What do you dislike about the product?

It uses a lot of memory, even when it’s just open in the background. I’ve found that closing extra tabs while using it helps keep performance up. Also, the AI voice feature occasionally goes a little crazy—this has happened about half a dozen times for me. When it works, it’s a top-tier AI voice, but it doesn’t work consistently enough for me to rely on it.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Riverside completely streamlined my content creation pipeline for my YouTube channel.

It solved my primary challenge of getting pristine, studio-quality voice recordings by saving local tracks that stay perfectly in sync regardless of connection drops.

Beyond stellar audio, the platform excels across the board: onboarding was seamless with almost zero learning curve, and the support team is consistently solid and responsive. On top of that, Riverside’s smooth exports and integrations into post-production tools make moving raw files into my editor instant. Combined with automated transcription and short-form clipping tools, it saves me hours every week.
