Riverside cut our podcast production time in half

    Reviewed on Jun 23, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
The recording quality with remote participants and the automated editing tools. We get professional results without the hours of manual production work.
What do you dislike about the product?
Audio replacement requires deleting and republishing rather than a simple file swap. It's a minor inconvenience, but it'd be nice to have a true replace option.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Remote podcast recording with consistent audio quality across multiple hosts, and reducing weekly production time from hours to minutes through automated editing and processing.

Riverside Scales Beautifully with Superb Support and Great Value

    Reviewed on Jun 22, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
Riverside grows with your needs, the support is superb, the price is excellent and the ai intelligence is just right
What do you dislike about the product?
I originally told people to download Chrome. And for an app that's cloud based people were used to only logging on via zoom and not having to download anything which caused me NOT to use Riverside and 3 occasions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's in the cloud so I can pick it up anywhere. That said... I would like to be able to work offline as well like I do with Final Cut Pro so I am not bothered with internet connection

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to navigate! Simple start up and very easy to start recording.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can be difficult to keep track of where takes are stored. Once I accidentally deleted one of my edits because I thought I was deleting a different take.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping to solve the difficulty of recording episodes and editing them in a timely manner so I can get back to other aspects of work.

Seamless Editing, Great Spotify Publishing, and AI-Powered Thumbnails

What do you like best about the product?
I love how seemless the editing is. The ablity to edit text makes the process so easy.

THe new integrations to publish to spotlify is the best!

I also love the ablity to us AI prompting thumbnails.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the user flows aren't always intuitive, but that might just be my lack to proactive learning.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have an industry podcast that I produce "on the side" this turns a passion project into an easy task and not a whole production requiring hours of work.

Transcript-Based Editing Makes Video Changes Effortless

    Reviewed on Jun 18, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
How easy it is to edit the video by simply highlighting the text in the transcript and pressing delete. Voila! The pricing in reasonable for all that you receive. The AI is great. I haven't integrated it with anything yet. Perhaps in the future. I need to look into which integrations will be beneficial. I haven't had to use the Support, but I will say their Onboarding is solid, even though I have completed all of it. :(
What do you dislike about the product?
The downside is the speed of uploads and general processing. But that also could be my network capabilities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating short, punchy content. I'm trying to match the length of my videos to the length of our attention spans.

Easy to Use and Makes Podcast Production and Editing a Breeze

    Reviewed on Jun 18, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use. Really focused on getting rolling and the learning curve is not too steep. Particularly like that I can edit my podcast from the transcript.

Scheduling is pretty simple and at this point I'm rolling about 2 episodes a week, while still maintaining my life, which again speaks to the ease of use factor.

I'm still early stage with the AI portions, but so far what I've used has been very solid - in particular I recently created within Riverside an AI personalized prompt that I can now re-use!
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, no downsides, but I'm new to podcasting so I'd say you don't know what you don't know : )
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
What I like is that I had an idea that I wanted to launch a podcast, and yes I still have to do the work, but from a pure recording and post perspective Riverside has been great in that I'm able to easily set up my sessions, my guests have had no issues, the recordings have been very clean and the post production has been great, at least great for me and the bar I've set.

So that is a ton of problem solving!

Crystal-Clear Riverside Recordings, Even with Spotty Internet

    Reviewed on Jun 13, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
I use Riverside to record online interviews, training discussions, and video content. What I like most is the recording quality, which remains clear even when internet connectivity is not perfect. The platform is easy to use, and the local recording feature helps produce better audio and video compared to standard meeting tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some editing and advanced production features can take time to learn for new users. Larger recordings may also require additional processing time before they are ready to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Riverside helps create high-quality recordings for interviews, training sessions, and online content without needing a professional recording setup. This benefits me by improving content quality, reducing recording issues, and making it easier to create and share professional-looking videos.

Riverside has been critical to my podcast's growth!

    Reviewed on Jun 09, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
One of the things that first stood out to me was the ability to auto-save the host's and guest's video and audio files. I lived in the mountains for about 100 episodes, and sometimes the internet would be intermittent. On more than a handful of occasions, Riverside saved us from having a great conversation that was never aired. One episode in particular I thought was a total loss, but because our files were auto-saved to the cloud, the episode aired smoothly, and no one would EVER know there was any problem to start with.

I've watched the software progress as their user interface has gotten more intutitve and the additiions to their features are always nicely well done and seemingly made from someone who is actually a user. Plus the monthly price it's a no brainer for all the features you get on top of the recording platform. I implore all of my clients, and every podcaster I connect with, to use riverside because it doesn't make any sense not to!
What do you dislike about the product?
Every piece of software has growing pains and if there's any "dislike" it's simply those growing pains but that's not on Riverside, per se. It is on them in how their team handles that growth and expands the product. Yes, there have been some slow moments but having worked in SaaS and with digital production teams bi-weekly sprints can feel too slow at times. They seem to be on the ball and doing what they can as they grow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest thing is the recording platform that's a great hub "studio" for me as well as the editing tools they have and default info that's pulled from each recording. I use the info provided to start my show notes and will use the magic clips to refine and curate the right ones to fight the episode's message. It's all super easy and fun.
