Essential Tool for Effortless Storytelling and Editing
What do you like best about the product?
Using Riverside has allowed me to easily conduct, edit, and share customer & colleague stories - between Magic Clips and the ability to easily export, it's a non-negotiable tool I'll be using moving forward.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would say I wish there was another tier for more experienced users without having to "Talk to a Sales Person", as I'd like to upgrade to just a more premium version with more producer/host tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Riverside has made it simple for me to conduct, edit, and share stories from both customers and colleagues. With features like Magic Clips and the straightforward export options, this tool has become essential for my workflow and is something I plan to continue using.
Effortless Podcast & Video Production for our Small Contractor Business
What do you like best about the product?
Riverside has made podcast and other video production simple and I come at this with ZERO experience. I can use it along, with my team or 3rd parties without issue - even when some parties are on a mobile phone.
I love the AI tools and editting features, as they allow me to enhance and refine my videos without needing to do many takes or retakes. And with the easy premade layouts, I can quickly format my footage into vertical and horizontal videos for YouTube shorts and main videos.

What do you dislike about the product?
My dislike is simply not dedicating more time to watching their YouTube channel to learn more about how I can use the product to make better videos for my small business. But, that's really my issue, not an issue for Riverside.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Since I'm remote from my business, Riverside makes it possible for me to create video with my team in multiple locations without unnecessary travel. Plus, it's editing and AI features have allowed us to make better quality videos than we were able to do before Riverside.
Excellent Product with Responsive Support and Effortless Hosting
What do you like best about the product?
Product is excellent, customer service was actually responsive and helpful. Easy to use, easy to host and push to other platforms, very happy so far.
What do you dislike about the product?
You will still have to edit specific things in those specific platforms. It's very hard to figure out what the episode cover will be, still haven't figured that part out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I wanted to start a podcast without becoming an expert at editing, this has allowed me to do this.
Constantly Improving with Outstanding Customer Service
What do you like best about the product?
They are constantly adding features which are useful and the customer service is phenomenal
What do you dislike about the product?
The odd bug when I’m using the editor tool or with exporting
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
How long it takes to edit video podcasts - made it so much easier and to make short clips too
Exceptional and Fun Software That's Easy to Use
What do you like best about the product?
This software is exceptional! So easy and really fun to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
the learning curve was a little long for me, but that's a me thing.

it makes is super simple for me to pump out a couple podcasts a week.
The Ultimate Podcasting Solution: Simple, Robust, and Outstanding Quality
What do you like best about the product?
I have been podcasting for 20+ years, and Riverside is the most complete, simple, and robust recording solution. Period. The quality is outstanding, and the team constantly is updating and iterating the software... many times based on user feedback and suggestions. Support is excellent. One of the most important tools in my toolbox.
What do you dislike about the product?
Wish I could get a little more granular with editing, including being able to adjust volume levels for specific sections, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Recording with guests is the most seamless, high quality available.
High-Quality Recording and Editing Made Effortless
What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact that Riverside has good quality recording over the internet. I appreciate the closed captioning, editing features and magic clips that really speed up my editing process.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like Riverside to natively include green screen capabiltiy for both host and guest. It seems easy enough in teams, google meet and zoom, but for some reason riverside does not include it. I would personally benefit from this, but also guests on my show have wanted it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
easier video editing with magic clips and easier closed captions
Effortless Podcast Scheduling and Publishing with Riverside
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the scheduling and ease of use for podcast guests. After I record a podcast I've been able to develop a good workflow to edit and get ready for publication. I love that I can host our podcast right in Riverside and take care of publishing there to Apple and Spotify. We aren't using YouTube yet, but probably will in the future and it will be easy to send it over there as well!
What do you dislike about the product?
I sometimes get a little lost when looking through all of my recording files and wish for a better way to organize. When I am editing it's too easy for me to accidentally navigate away from the editor, but in those moments I really appreciate the auto-save!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Riverside is making it possible for us to capture and host our podcast in-house while still sounding professional.
Effortless Workflow and Reliable Performance with Riverside
What do you like best about the product?
It works...
I came from Descript, I like them for their editing tools which are admittedly slightly more granular, however the program was constantly updating and the UI was always in flux and that hampered my ability really lock in a workflow.
With Riverside, the granularity is not completely present but the areas that are missing are negligible and i can work with them. I already have a workflow down and have only recorded on the platform four times.

What do you dislike about the product?
1. I cant do much with segment transitions, id like the ability to create and save transitions to my brand in the same way i can insert intro and outtro.
2. I would like to see the addition of sound keys added to the music part of the editor. I want to have the granularity to set specific time points where i want the music loud and where i want it quiet. I understand i can do this in a more robust tool like audition, but, if im paying for an editor like Riverside then I would hope to have basic features like sound keys.
3. Live Stream capabilities are not as straightforward when going live on FB nor do they support going live on platforms like tiktok.

Riverside is saving me time. Which allows me to focus on the rest of my company.
Effortless Recording and Editing with Professional Results
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to set up a recording and invite others to join you. Their AI tools are super easy to implement, making editing a breeze and making it easy to put out a professional-sounding product. I use Riverside now multiple times a week to record shows, and it's integrated effortlessly into my work process. The one time I've had to contact customer support, they were quick to respond and help me with the issue.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that their mobile app were a bit more friendly when it comes to setting up things on the run. There have been times when I wanted to set up a future recording and send the guest the invite from the mobile app, but you can't do that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Riverside is allowing me to record, edit, and host my podcast all in one place. It makes it a one-stop shop for much of my work, and I love it.
