Reliable Recording Platform That Makes Remote Sessions Stress-Free

  • October 07, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Honestly, the best part about using Riverside is how simple it feels once you start recording. Even with guests joining from different places, the sound quality stays crisp and clear. I also like how the separate audio tracks make editing much easier later.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the upload takes a bit longer if the internet connection isn’t great. It’s not a deal-breaker, but it can slow down the process when working with large files.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We wanted a dependable setup for recording podcasts remotely without needing a studio or expensive gear. Riverside solved that perfectly — it saves us time, keeps our workflow smooth, and helps the team focus more on content instead of tech issues.

Simple Tool for High-Quality Remote Recordings

  • October 07, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Riverside keeps it simple. Even if participants are from different parts of the world, the audio and video remain clear. It is nice to me that it is local recording and the file is uploaded automatically so we never lose quality.
What do you dislike about the product?
The app on the phone doesn’t work perfectly as on the computer. Just a few layout issues could be sorted to make them better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem was how to record podcast interviews from different places without losing the sound quality. Riverside made it possible for us to have a professional sound and also greatly simplified the editing process for our small marketing team.

Easy Way to Produce Studio-Quality Podcasts Remotely

  • October 07, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Riverside saves the hassle of recording podcast sessions. Their local-track recording ensures that audio is always clean and reliable even if the guests are remote. You get this professional feeling but without the need of expensive equipment.
What do you dislike about the product?
The mobile app is getting better but there are still some features that it lacks which are available on the desktop version. The upload speed could be better if the internet is slow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were looking for a solution that would allow us to have a high-quality podcast during our work-from-home days. Riverside has been our sound level keeper, our post-production facilitator, and our guest collaborator, making everything easy and professional.

Solid program to use

  • October 06, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Riverside for my interview podcast. It allows me to interview guests remotely and I never have to worry about loss of quality due to poor internet connection. It quickly uploads everything once I stop recording and sometimes the video is cleaner than DURING the interview. I am extremely happy with Riverside so far and plan to continue using it.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am not a fan of the AI editing in Riverside. It created choppy edits that looked very disjointed and cut words off in the middle.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The local recording of audio/video keeps me from having to re-do interviews when the internet quality is poor or choppy.

  • October 06, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
As a global radio station and multimedia platform with over 771K social media followers, we need a product that is reliable, professional, and easy to use. Riverside.fm has become an essential part of our workflow because it combines broadcast-quality local recording with an intuitive interface. The Ease of Use is unmatched — guests can join quickly, even if they’re not tech-savvy, and we can focus on the conversation instead of troubleshooting. The Number of Features makes it versatile for everything from live interviews to podcast production, and the Ease of Integration with our editing and publishing tools streamlines our process.
What do you dislike about the product?
There’s truly nothing we would call a “dislike.” If anything, we’d love to see Riverside continue to expand its capabilities because it has set such a high bar already. The Ease of Implementation, the reliability, and the responsive Customer Support make it clear Riverside is built for creators at every level.orm that feels this reliable, polished, and creator-focused.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Riverside has solved one of our biggest challenges: producing professional-grade podcasts with ease and reliability. Dr. Carr’s show, The Culture Docent, depends on clear audio, seamless remote interviews, and a platform that integrates smoothly with our radio and social media channels. Before Riverside, managing multiple guests, ensuring quality sound, and syncing everything to our distribution network was complicated and time-consuming.

With Riverside, we’ve eliminated technical headaches and gained confidence in every recording session. The platform’s ease of use, excellent customer support, and robust features mean we can focus on content and culture—not troubleshooting tech. This has benefited us enormously as a global radio station and podcasting brand with over 771K followers, because it allows us to deliver consistent, high-quality content that builds trust and keeps our audience engaged.

My daily driver for long-form video

  • October 06, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Above all else, I like how dependable Riverside is for high-quality recording. I can have a guest halfway across the world, and the final audio still sounds like we’re in the same room. The local recording feature is the unsung hero because it saves tracks directly from each person’s device, so even if someone’s Wi-Fi drops, the quality doesn’t suffer.

To me, the platform feels built for creators who care about both polish and speed. I can record, edit, and publish in one place without jumping between tools. It’s simple, clean, and just works.
What do you dislike about the product?
There’s not much to dislike, but a few small things stand out. The built-in editor can feel limiting for more nuanced polish if that's what you need. Upload syncs sometimes take longer than expected, especially with longer video files. I also wish there were more visual customization options for branding the studio layout. None of these are deal-breakers, though.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Riverside solved the chaos that used to come with remote recording. Before, I’d juggle Zoom, separate mics, and messy audio syncs. Now everything’s captured locally in studio-quality tracks that stay aligned. It eliminated the fear of “what if the connection drops?” because each person’s audio and video are recorded on their own device. The automatic upload and browser-based setup make it simple for guests too, which saves a ton of back-and-forth. The result is faster turnaround, less post-production cleanup, and way more confidence hitting record. It’s basically turned my podcast workflow into a system I can trust every time.

Essential for scaling our thought leadership and content repurposing

  • October 04, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the quality and ease of use. Recording our podcast and repurposing it into clips for social media is now a seamless process for my team. The video editing capabilities, while not for complex projects, are perfect for creating short, polished clips from our long-form interviews. The ease of implementation meant we saw a return on our investment almost immediately. We use it weekly, and the customer support has been helpful the few times we've needed it.
What do you dislike about the product?
The analytics on how our clips perform could be more detailed. For a CEO, I want to see more data on viewer engagement. While the ease of integration was good, I'd prefer a native connection with our CRM to track how this content influences leads.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were struggling to produce enough high-quality video content to build my profile as a thought leader. Riverside solved this by making it simple to record, edit, and repurpose a single interview into a podcast, blog quotes, and multiple social media videos. The benefit is a significant increase in my digital presence and brand authority without a proportional increase in time or production costs.

The quality and reliability we need for all our executive communications

  • October 04, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use means I can jump on a recording with an investor or for an all-hands message without any technical setup. The video editing tools are straightforward enough that my assistant can make quick cuts to my recordings without needing a full production team. Implementation was handled by our in-house team in under a day. We use it several times a month, and the number of features, like the separate audio tracks, means we get a professional result without complexity. It integrates smoothly with our content calendar.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the basic video editing is good for trimming, I wouldn't rely on it for complex edits. The initial upload time for a very long, high-resolution recording can be a bit slow, but it's a background process. I'd like to see more granular control over user permissions for larger teams.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Riverside solved our problem of inconsistent quality in our remote executive communications. Before, a poor internet connection could make an important update look unprofessional. Now, every recording is studio quality. The benefit is that I can communicate with our global team and stakeholders with confidence, knowing the video and audio will reflect well on our brand, which is crucial for a CEO.

A production editor's dream for remote interviews

  • October 04, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
As an editor, the quality of the source files is what I appreciate most. Getting separate, high-quality video and WAV audio tracks for each person makes post-production so much more flexible. The ease of use for the guests is also a huge plus—they just click a link. The number of features, like the built-in video editing for quick cuts and the magic clipper for social media, saves me a ton of time on smaller projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
For a professional editor, the video and audio editing tools are understandably limited. I primarily use it for capturing the best possible source footage. I've also noticed that if a guest has a very slow internet connection, the initial upload of their high-res video can delay the editing process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My biggest problem was receiving poorly compressed, mixed-down audio and video files from remote recordings. Riverside solves this by giving me pristine, separate tracks to work with. The benefit is a much higher quality final product and the ability to fix issues that would be impossible with a single mixed audio file, making my clients much happier.

Intro to weekly podcaster in minutes!

  • October 03, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
This platform is very easy to use, with straightforward editing tools that make the process simple. The collaboration features are excellent, especially when working with remote hosts and guests. I really appreciate being able to create, edit, and publish everything in one place—it’s incredibly convenient. Integrating with other sites and tools is also very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally, the sound may come across as choppy while recording. However, this issue is usually resolved during the upload process, resulting in cleaner audio. When hosting multiple in-person guests, some creativity is needed, as each participant must have their own device to connect.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Riverside lets me create and edit my podcast without the need to buy or install additional software on my computer. This makes it convenient for me to take my podcast with me wherever I go and work on my content whenever I have the time.
