The Gold Standard for Recording Developer Interviews
What do you like best about the product?
The sound quality is just perfect. Being a technical content platform, we have developers interviews from different continents, and the local recording feature of Riverside is what makes it possible that even if a guest's internet connection is bad, their individual track is still very clear. The different WAV audio and video files that we receive for post-production are a revolutionary way for us to edit.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the mobile app is usable if you want to quickly join recordings, it seems less polished than the desktop version. The interface gets a little tight if you try to open advanced settings or look at several participants on a small screen.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Previously, we had problems with synchronization and the audio quality of remote developer interviews which we recorded. These issues conflicted with the professional standard we were trying to achieve. The use of Riverside has removed that worry completely. As a result of this, the quality of all our podcast episodes and technical tutorials is at the level of a professional studio, which has made our standing in the developer community much stronger and helped us to get more influential guests.
Even as the CEO I find Riverside to be easy and professional
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to use. My CTO acts as the Producer but I can hop on record a video and in a short period of time share my message in a professional manner.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't say I dislike anything. If I have a question I can use the knowledge base and or YouTube and get a quick easy fix to whatever I might need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One clear message to thousands at the same time.
Fast, All-in-One Audio Editing with Impressive AI—Needs More Music Options
What do you like best about the product?
I love the AI features that enhance our audio. It works pretty quickly, and the upload time has always been less than a few minutes. I love being able to record, edit, and upload within the same software and platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish they offered a service where you can purchase or get permission to use non-royalty free music.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The time it takes to record and edit a show to perfection can take a few hours for me but Riverside makes it easy and has cut my editing time down to 30 minutes instead of 3+ hours.
Riverside Revived Our Podcast—Easy Multi-Host Recording with Room for More Features
What do you like best about the product?
It makes creating a multi-host podcast so simple and easy. We had actually put our podcast on hiatus because we couldn't keep up with the workload, but then we found Riverside and it has made it possible to start again and be more consistent than ever.
What do you dislike about the product?
There honestly aren’t many downsides. Since it is an online video editor, you get some of the usual finicky behavior that comes with that, but it’s just part of it. More audio tools and flexibility would be handy, larger file size for uploaded videos, as well as more video formats supported for uploading and inserting in post would make it a great all-in-one tool. I still end up using Final Cut a little bit for some polish, but much less than before.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Riverside makes it easy to create and edit multi-host podcast content, as well as repurpose long-form content into social media posts and other work.
Good platform for remote recordings with dependable results
What do you like best about the product?
I’ve been using Riverside for quite some time to record interviews and podcast sessions. What I like most is how steady the recording quality stays, even when internet speed drops. The local recording system really makes a difference. The layout is clean and easy to follow, so even guests who are not used to online tools can join without much confusion. I also find the separate audio and video tracks useful during post-production because it gives more flexibility while editing.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are moments when the upload process feels slower than expected, especially when working with large video files. Also, some basic features that could improve workflow are only available in higher plans, which might be a limitation for smaller creators.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before using Riverside, I struggled to keep audio consistent when recording remotely. Other platforms often had delay or poor sound quality. With Riverside, recordings are smoother, and my projects sound more professional without needing a lot of extra work. It has made recording sessions easier to manage and more dependable overall.
Reliable tool for remote recordings with genuine quality
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate how Riverside lets us record high-quality audio and video for remote sessions without adding complexity. Guests can join via link, the recording happens locally, and even when someone’s connection dips the final file remains clean. The platform is intuitive and hasn’t required extensive training for our team.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I’ve found is that longer recordings sometimes take a bit of time to finish uploading and processing, and the built-in editor lacks someof the advanced features I’ve used elsewhere. Still, these aren’t deal-breakers for us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before using Riverside, our remote interviews and discussions often suffered from drop-outs, audio issues and unclear video. Since switching, we’ve seen far fewer interruptions, the output is more consistent, and we spend less time fixing problems in post-production.
Expanded Our Content Repurposing Capability Without Increasing the Number of Employees
What do you like best about the product?
Looking at it from a resources point of view, Riverside's effectiveness is the main thing it has going for it. The single-interview-recording-and-leaving-with-isolated-tracks-for-video,-audio,-and-screen-share idea is thus a huge power multiplier. The transcription service is good enough to make the process of finding and extracting quotes from the text for blog posts and social media, a quick one. The working effortlessly in the background social clips creation which in turn is done by the magic editor and thus saves the team hours of manual work each week is an example of how the staff who use it indirectly can benefit. The process of content repurposing is the whole workflow for which the team uses it as the central hub.
What do you dislike about the product?
The automated clips feature is a step in the right direction; however, there isn't much you can do with it in terms of customization. The platform does not allow for easy changing of the aspect ratio nor does it support adding branded lower-thirds. There were times when the transcription service we used to identify speakers had it wrong, which meant we had to fix them manually. Some of our team members found that learning to use the full range of features took longer than they expected.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Riverside is a solution that allows a company to produce more content at a faster pace which subsequently means that they have to be able to handle the greater volume of content. We found it hard to come up with enough assets that would feed our marketing channels. Presently, five media channels can leverage a 45-minute expert interview: podcast, three blog posts, and a dozen social media clips and sales materials. This has benefited us by dramatically increasing our content output and organic reach without increasing our team size or agency budget.
The Single Instrument That We Rely On For Extremely Important Analyst Briefings
What do you like best about the product?
In my job, I am responsible for communication with industry analysts. Every interaction should show the professionalism of our company. Riverside is the only platform that we are confident in for doing these recordings. The perfect local audio recording is a must for giving a true account of the detailed feedback. The video is of a very high standard, and it helps a lot in us being able to show that we are a top tech company. The feature of a "green room" that prepares users for their coming live session by enabling them to test their setup is quite insignificant in nature but at the same time very important because it allows every session to start without any problems.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing is at a premium level, especially for the tier that allows longer recording times, which we use only from time to time. Also, considering the sensitivity of the topics we discuss, I feel the platform may provide better security and privacy options. The editing capability is only up to the level of basic cuts, and therefore, we always finish our works with a professional editor whom we send the final versions to, consequently, some of the built-in features are not used by us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The critical issue of external communication leading to misrepresentation and poor impression management is what it addresses. In a worst-case scenario, the mistake of a garbled audio recording of an analyst's question may result in your company making the wrong strategic moves. Riverside is there to give an exact, verifiable account. The ultimate outcome thus, is absolute confidence in the truth of our messaging with the possibility of sharing perfect recordings internally with our executive team, who then may be assured that they are on the same page stemming from crystal-clear data.
Elevated Our Internal Training Programme With Studio-Quality Video
What do you like best about the product?
We use Riverside to record all of our internal training modules and leadership updates. What I like most about it is the consistency and reliability. The separate tracks give our L&D team a chance to quickly rectify a mistake or add a graphic without going through the process of recording the whole session again. The sound is so great that our workers can listen without getting tired of it, thus it is very helpful in the retention of knowledge. Introducing the feature to cut a full training session into brief videos for the company's internal wiki has been a major time saver.
What do you dislike about the product?
The user management of a big team is not very straightforward as it could be. The process of bringing new members on board and determining their access was somewhat of a chore and required me to do a little bit of going forth and back. Our current Learning Management System (LMS) is not natively integrated with the platform, therefore, we have to do the final videos in a way that involves a lot of downloads and uploads. While customer support was easy to reach and helpful, I'd still prefer if the response time to my queries, especially when they are non-urgent, was a bit quicker than it is now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Riverside, we have been able to take our internal communications and training materials to the next level. Our problem was a collection of poorly made videos that were hard to edit and not enjoyable to watch. At present, all our internal media have a common, high-quality standard. This, in turn, allows us to engage the employees with the help of the training materials and at the same time be sure that the messages from the leadership are communicated with clarity and professionalism which they deserve.
What Was Most Required for Making Customer Testimonial Videos of High Credibility
What do you like best about the product?
I am in charge of customer marketing, and powerful testimonials are the main thing that keeps us alive. With the help of Riverside, we can create the content we need for the same, no matter where the customers are located. The local recording is what guarantees individual customer video and audio quality even if the internet connection is bad. Also, the customer's perspective can be used to record product demos and for that, the screen capture feature is very useful. Implementation was simple, and our customers consider the link-and-click process very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
The recording room branding possibilities are very few. We would be able to add our logo and colors to make the brand experience more cohesive and familiar to our customers. When it comes to handling multiple recordings weekly, the act of downloading all the different audio and video files might make one feel as if the task is too manual. Also, I find the function of searching in my recordings repository a bit simple.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
By removing the risk and cost that go hand in hand with the production of customer video case studies, Riverside has done a great job. The only options we had before was to either send a crew to the customer's location or to have a bad quality video call. Today, we are able to get great testimonials from any customer around the world with little work on our part. This has exponentially increased the amount and quality of our social proof, which in turn is directly speeding up our sales cycle and creating trust for potential clients.
