High-Quality, Consistent Product for Interviews

  • February 04, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The quality and consistency of the product.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm often doing interviews but have others in attendance (producers, reps), I wish there was a way to hide them from my view so I can focus on producing the talent. Some time of "Full Screen" mode for who I can the most about. Sometimes I need to give them framing notes and the way things are currently it's hard for me to see the full frame using the Pin option.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Doing interviews with high end talent that would be harder to get in person. I've interviewed many celebrities and filmmakers using Riverside.

So easy to use and it helps structure a great call and quality for all my projects

High-Quality Call Recording and Powerful Tools for Shareable, Branded Content

  • February 03, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Riverside addresses a key challenge for my agency - being able to quickly and easily capture hi-quality video from online calls which we can use in social media posts and other videos, and really robust automated tools to take longer format video and parse it into useful and shareable content with good tools to do branding, captions and layout
What do you dislike about the product?
The built-in video editor in Riverside - the timeline element - is tricky to use accurately and can be difficult for anything but simple trims and timeline splits. I've used Final Cut and Premiere for years and I find this element underwhelming and in need of some revision
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Riverside rapidly moves unedited video content into useful formats that can be shared and amplified on our marketing channels quickly. It saves a ton of time.

Super Simple, Professional, and User-Friendly—Great Co-Creator & AI Tools

  • February 03, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Riverside is a super simple platform that is professional and user friendly. I love the help I get from the co creator and AI tools. It makes things so clear and ready to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel like they recently changed the teleprompter so I cant see myself and have it full screen at the same time. Sometimes I like to see how the video is coming along as I am reading.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The platform allows me to simplify the process and saves me from recording in one spot and editing in another. It allows me to quickly upload content that I have created in a format that can be used in various forms of Social media and platforms. It's really a time saver and allows me to be creative in the work I am doing.

Riverside offers services that speed up my work and improve the quality of the content I produce.

What do you like best about the product?
Editing saves time, and the AI tools that generate clips and short reels are decent and keep improving. I appreciate being able to add my clients' branding to videos, and the audio enhancement is awesome. The recording quality is very high, and the videos come out sharp and crisp.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is not as good at audio editing. While I now use video in addition to the regular podcasts, the flow of audio for video and audio-only is very different. The editing tools that remove filler words and pauses require extra editing on my part to create the smooth sound I want for the podcasts. Also, it decides what "filler words" are, and I would like the option to add a list of words and phrases that I can flag. For instance, "I think that," "I mean," "And" at the beginning of a sentence. I can, of course, do this through the search function, but that is cumbersome.

The AI assistant that can produce text and thumbnails is just ok. It could be much better. As a result, I either edit a lot of what it suggests or I use ChatGPT or Gemini.

There is another issue I have been trying to bring to Riverside's attention. They are very good at responding to support issues, but I cannot get anyone to respond to this dilemma I have.

Riverside is Israeli-owned, and some of my clients and their guests, because of political reasons, have reservations about working with companies out of Israel. Riverside is not on any of the "boycott" lists, but my clients want assurances that Riverside is not connected with the Israeli government or actions in Palestine. From what I can tell, it is not. It is a good product, and the people running it may hold personal political beliefs, but the platform and the company seem neutral on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

I need to provide more assurances to my clients, but I cannot until I hear from someone in Riverside management. Otherwise, I would have answered the question, "How likely is it that you would recommend Riverside to a friend or colleague?" with a 10.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating fairly accurate transcripts easily. Cloud storage for video. Recording guests remotely.

Love this All In One Podcasting Tool!

  • February 02, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love being able to record, edit and host/upload my podcast to streaming sites using only one product! Customer support has been great and helped me figure out a few tech issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that when you schedule an online recording session and send to a guest, the description is not shown to them. I was using that to send important notes and questions and they couldn't even see it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I love that they are adding more capabilities to the mobile app!

The Foundational Tool for Our Content-Led Growth & Investor Storytelling

  • February 02, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I value most is how Riverside turns my most valuable asset—my time and expertise—into a scalable, high-fidelity content engine. As a founder, I'm constantly explaining our complex software to investors, potential hires, and early users. With Riverside, I can record a perfect, multi-camera product demo or a technical deep-dive with a co-founder in one take, regardless of our locations. The local recording feature is non-negotiable; it guarantees that every screen share, every line of code, and every nuanced explanation is captured in pristine quality, free from internet glitches. This allows me to produce investor update videos, onboarding tutorials, and community AMA sessions that look professionally produced, without the cost or time of a production team. It's founder efficiency at its best.
What do you dislike about the product?
For a resource-constrained startup, the pricing, while justified, sits in a considered tier. The per-host model is perfect for our core content creation, but as we scale, inviting multiple team members as occasional hosts for departmental videos requires planning. A more flexible "guest host" add-on or a modestly priced tier for growing teams would lower the barrier for broader internal adoption beyond the founders and marketing leads.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving the critical early-stage challenges of building trust and scaling founder-led marketing. For a technical SaaS product, seeing is believing. A crystal-clear demo video created with Riverside is more effective than a dozen slide decks in moving an enterprise deal forward or securing a follow-on meeting with an investor. It also powers our content-led growth strategy. We repurpose long-form interviews with industry experts into dozens of short, engaging clips for social media, driving organic traffic and establishing our thought leadership. Riverside transforms me from a bottleneck—the only person who can give "the demo"—into a force multiplier, amplifying our message and accelerating our path to product-market fit.
