Effortless Podcast Scheduling and Publishing with Riverside
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the scheduling and ease of use for podcast guests. After I record a podcast I've been able to develop a good workflow to edit and get ready for publication. I love that I can host our podcast right in Riverside and take care of publishing there to Apple and Spotify. We aren't using YouTube yet, but probably will in the future and it will be easy to send it over there as well!
What do you dislike about the product?
I sometimes get a little lost when looking through all of my recording files and wish for a better way to organize. When I am editing it's too easy for me to accidentally navigate away from the editor, but in those moments I really appreciate the auto-save!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Riverside is making it possible for us to capture and host our podcast in-house while still sounding professional.
Effortless Workflow and Reliable Performance with Riverside
What do you like best about the product?
It works...
I came from Descript, I like them for their editing tools which are admittedly slightly more granular, however the program was constantly updating and the UI was always in flux and that hampered my ability really lock in a workflow.
With Riverside, the granularity is not completely present but the areas that are missing are negligible and i can work with them. I already have a workflow down and have only recorded on the platform four times.

What do you dislike about the product?
1. I cant do much with segment transitions, id like the ability to create and save transitions to my brand in the same way i can insert intro and outtro.
2. I would like to see the addition of sound keys added to the music part of the editor. I want to have the granularity to set specific time points where i want the music loud and where i want it quiet. I understand i can do this in a more robust tool like audition, but, if im paying for an editor like Riverside then I would hope to have basic features like sound keys.
3. Live Stream capabilities are not as straightforward when going live on FB nor do they support going live on platforms like tiktok.

Effortless Recording and Editing with Professional Results
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to set up a recording and invite others to join you. Their AI tools are super easy to implement, making editing a breeze and making it easy to put out a professional-sounding product. I use Riverside now multiple times a week to record shows, and it's integrated effortlessly into my work process. The one time I've had to contact customer support, they were quick to respond and help me with the issue.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that their mobile app were a bit more friendly when it comes to setting up things on the run. There have been times when I wanted to set up a future recording and send the guest the invite from the mobile app, but you can't do that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Riverside is allowing me to record, edit, and host my podcast all in one place. It makes it a one-stop shop for much of my work, and I love it.

Effortless Podcasting with Powerful AI Editing
What do you like best about the product?
I love how simple it is to utilize the platform! I came in as a complete newbie and was very quickly able to pick things up and get episodes published. The AI capabilities are also a big help with editing content.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not a dislike but more of a want for the future, I’d love for the system to be able to record multiple microphones. I know it just updated to 2 but eventually I’d love it to be able to do even more. I’d also love to edit the magic clips intuitively as I have 2 hosts but one camera so the clips are always right in the middle and getting half of each of us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Riverside is definitely solving getting things recoded and edited and that’s the biggest hurdle with podcasting. Plus the community and resources help with getting better and better.
Effortless Podcasting with Pro Features for Beginners
What do you like best about the product?
As a new podcaster it was important that I could find a recording platform that didn’t overwhelm me but still provided a lot of flexibility - Riverside is that sweet spot! Recording and editing is effortless and the AI capabilities for show notes and magic clips make the process truly professional even for newbies! Highly recommend!
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes there are too many ways to do the same thing and it gets confusing as to which way to go.

A Great Platform for Podcasters
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use for both me and my guests. Once they are logged in, it's as easy as hitting the record button!
What do you dislike about the product?
That it only works with Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge. I want it to work with Safari and other browsers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Recording my podcasts via long distances. That allows me to expand who I can interview.
Effortless Editing Across Devices with Powerful New Features
What do you like best about the product?
I love the ease of the platform. Whether it be on the browser, in the app on the computer, or the app on my phone. Also all the new editing features make is so fast to get an episode up. The new dual audio for in person is a big help as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Only thing that drives me a little crazy is when i make edits to the screen layout when editing. When I change he layout the little box that says save pops up and sometimes gets in the way of me switching the speaker. Very minor.

I have a podcast so it allows me to easy capture interviews with guests from all over the world.

What do you like best about the product?
I’m truly impressed with Riverside and the way it keeps getting better. When I first started, I knew nothing about video editing, but I quickly became skilled enough that people now reach out to me because of the visibility I’ve gained. Riverside has opened up several new professional opportunities for me and has helped me share my message with new customers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Probably the only thing I might say that I dislike about Riverside is that because of the new continuous offerings there’s always something new to learn but I realize that’s a completely softball answer. It’s really great. I’m really impressed with them.

The primary advantage I’ve gained from using Riverside is the ability to create content for LinkedIn, which has helped me become more visible and effectively share my message. This increased visibility has allowed me to convert viewers into clients, and I’ve also used Riverside’s tools to boost my clients’ profiles, making it easier for them to hire me.

What do you like best about the product?
The audio and video quality are consistently excellent, and being able to use my iPhone as my main camera while routing audio through my Rodecaster Pro has been a complete game-changer. Once the workflow is set, Riverside gives me a polished, professional look without needing a full studio. I also appreciate that the team listens to user feedback, it feels like a platform that’s actually evolving with creators, not against them.
What do you dislike about the product?
There’s a noticeable learning curve, especially when switching from other platforms. Some workflows like getting my iPhone set as the main camera without ending up in a split screen can feel a little confusing at first. A few features could be more intuitive or streamlined so creators don’t have to hunt through menus or community posts to figure things out. Once everything is set up, it works well, but getting there isn’t always straightforward.

Riverside solves the biggest challenge I had as a solo creator: getting high-quality video and audio without a full studio setup. Being able to record crisp video with my iPhone and clean audio through my Rodecaster Pro gives my podcast a professional look and sound from home. It also lets me keep everything organized in one place, instead of juggling multiple apps or tools. Overall, it streamlines my workflow, saves me time, and helps me deliver a better final product for my audience.
