The Main Element of a Content Strategy Focused on Podcasts

  • October 22, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Being a content director, my concern is first of all quality and then efficiency. Riverside satisfies both these needs. The separate WAV audio files for each guest is where the magic happens. This gives our sound engineer the best possible source to work with, thereby resulting in a podcast of a quality that can compete with major networks. We use the text-based editing feature that allows us to edit by simply deleting the text of the transcript and by this, our editing time has been reduced to half. Our guests find it extremely easy to connect via any browser, and thus our guest acceptance rate has gone up.
What do you dislike about the product?
The mobile app is working but it is not the most comfortable solution for a guest who keeps moving. We had a guest who could not figure out how to use their phone and the app. The platform might also give the option to have more brandable templates that can be used for the recorder interface so as to better present our brand. Even though the video is of very good quality, the file sizes are quite large, hence, you would need to have good internet and storage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Riverside addressed those technical problems that prevented the scaling of a high-quality podcast. We used to be in a situation where the quality of the audio was unpredictable when an interesting speaker used different conferencing apps. Now, every episode is done on a firm, studio-quality basis. By producing more content, as well as faster, our strategy is being supported by the level of quality that is capable of attracting first-class guests and creating a loyal audience. We have witnessed a direct contribution towards our podcast downloads, which increased by 40%.

A Brand-Level Media Initiative That Functioned Like a Strategic Upgrade

  • October 21, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Moving to Riverside was a conscious decision made to raise the caliber of the visual and audio elements of the webinars and executive briefings. by far, the essential factor is the impeccable sound quality. What is locally recorded is a very clear sound that makes the speakers sound powerfully and convincingly. The video is equally sharp, and the fact that it records each participant's feed separately is a game-changer for post-production. It is very straightforward for our outside collaborators to operate, which lowers significantly the points of scheduling interaction.
What do you dislike about the product?
The analytics along with the information collected after the session seem to be an opportunity that was not fully utilized. I'd be interested to see detailed engagement metrics that show directly on the platform right after a webinar. We were so limited by the storage for the standard plan that we had to be very careful about the way we downloaded and archived our sessions without any delay. Besides that, we found a tiny issue where the video of a speaker was slightly out of sync, and thus, it needed a quick fixing through an editing process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is a tool that helped us tackle the issue of creating high-quality media in a distributed team with guest speakers. One of the biggest problems we had was that different sources had different qualities of recordings, which in turn affected our brand negatively as it looked inconsistent. Now with Riverside, we can always be sure of a certain level of quality. A stronger, more trustworthy brand identity and a media library that we pride to share with others are the two main gains resulting from this. Public relations and communications are the activities for which the tool has become essential for us.

We approached the problem of poor remote interview quality and eventually resolved it fully.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It is like comparing the night and day. Our website features long-form interviews which are our primary content. We were constantly fighting echo, compression artifacts, and dropouts with other services. Riverside's local recording is what makes it seem that every participant is in a professional studio even if they are just using laptop microphones. Video quality is equally good. The individual tracks for each person make the editing process very easy and if one guest has a noisy background we can get rid of the noise from their audio without affecting the other's audio. The platform is so simple that our hosts and guests hardly ever face any trouble in joining a session which is one of the reasons that our production schedule is going great.
What do you dislike about the product?
The tool is almost perfect in terms of editing, and I wish the editing features were a bit more powerful. It is great for simply removing long silences or ums, but if you want to do something more intricate, you still have to take the videos to a different editor. Moreover, it has been our experience that in case you want to get full, high-quality video files for each participant, it may take quite a few minutes, and thus you should make your time accordingly. There is also some slowness in the initial upload to the platform before the files can be processed, especially if your internet connection is not very good.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Riverside has completely removed the concern about the quality of audio and video for remote interviews that we used to have. The main issue was the inconsistency and unprofessional sound that accompanied our content, which made it hard to create a premium brand feel. At present, we are totally sure that the original footage will be of good quality and can be used without any additional work. Such dependability is our great advantage because we save a lot of the time and money that were going to the audio cleaning part of post-production. In addition, it makes our content team more work productive and we are able to get high-profile guests who are the recipients of a trouble-free and professional recording experience and so they will be pleased.

Just what we needed: executive communications made with great reliability.

  • October 21, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
At first, I only thought about using Riverside to record our quarterly all-hands meetings when the leadership team is fully remote. Its strongest feature is the consistency. The video and audio of every participant are recorded in high resolution locally, so if one individual has a weak Wi-Fi connection, the whole recording will not be affected. Due to the simplicity application of the product, our busy executives were able to join the call without the need for a technical run-through. The biggest post-production benefit is the greatest support; communications crew with the separate tracks can use this to do audio clean-up or single speaker focus without their other tracks getting affected. The sharing of the screen is also very clear which in turn is the most vital thing in the presentation of the slides.
What do you dislike about the product?
Given that video is their strength, the platform comes with just enough basic built-in editing tools for trimming, however, they don't have the quality of the video team for a high-quality final cut. We normally take the tracks export and editing separately. Videos in full resolution take up a lot of space which is great for the quality but you have to consider storage and transferring if the recordings are long. However, we had only one instance in which the service was down, and thus, we had to cancel the recording, which was quite frustrating, although it is mostly reliable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Riverside is essentially the instrument that enables us to maintain the qualitative level of our internal and external executive communications both at the professional and standard level. At first, we were grappling with varying audio levels and video qualities of the leaders who were coming from different locations, and this was, without our realizing it, producing a less polished image of our brand. Right now, every single one of the communications, whether it be internal updates or public-facing webinars, is of the same standard and has the high-quality vibe. Consequently, our brand presence becomes stronger and more cohesive, and the likelihood of the message being affected by the technical issues is reduced. As a leader, it affords me the assurance that our communications will not be of a lesser standard than our work.

Our team content repurposing has been taken to a whole new level by this tool.

  • October 21, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The transition was without any problems. The interview which was conducted remotely was our first and it happened within an hour of us signing up. The description of rather than this or that, the separate, high-quality tracks for each speaker are the best things one can say; this is because it provides pristine material for the post-production team. Perfect for our software demo videos, the screen capture feature is as efficient as the video recording process. We use it for our weekly internal town halls and client case study interviews. Quite clever is the text-based video editor which is a feature that saves us an enormous amount of time when creating short clips for social media and thus we are able to repurpose a 45-minute interview into a dozen assets in an afternoon.
What do you dislike about the product?
The mobile app, which is only functional, cannot compare with the desktop browser version of the app that is more beautiful and user-friendly. We had a guest who mainly uses a tablet, and he said that the controls were a little bit hard to understand. The live streaming features of the platform that are meant to be compared with the incredible execution of other areas, seem to be a little bit behind the time when compared to those of a live streaming dedicated service. I would add that while staff responded to our problem, their first email was a generic one that didn't really acknowledge our specific technical query about file formats.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Riverside solves the problem of how to increase content production without the need for more budget or causing more production problems. The chief pain was the difficulty and degradation of quality that we faced when using other remote recording tools. Each participant's locally recorded audio and video are of excellent studio-grade quality, and thus Riverside has eliminated the quality gamble. This is enhancing the ROI of our interview-based content in a very fundamental way. Every conversation, which is turned into the very reliable foundation of our entire content engine, is utilized to the fullest extent.

The Most Reliable Partner for High-Stakes Recording

  • October 21, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What stands out most is Riverside's flawless reliability. Unlike other platforms that occasionally suffer from drops or quality fluctuations, Riverside delivers consistently perfect audio and video, every single time. The local recording feature is genius - it ensures that even if someone's internet connection is unstable, their individual track remains crystal clear. This reliability has given me complete peace of mind during important client recordings and live sessions.
What do you dislike about the product?
The mobile app, while functional, doesn't quite match the seamless experience of the desktop version. The interface feels slightly cramped, and accessing some advanced settings requires extra taps. That said, it's more than adequate for joining recordings on the go, and the core recording quality remains excellent even on mobile.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Riverside solved our biggest challenge: maintaining professional quality in remote recordings. We no longer have to choose between convenience and quality. The platform has been crucial for producing client testimonials, training materials, and expert interviews that look and sound like they were recorded in a professional studio. This has elevated our brand perception and allowed us to expand our service offerings significantly.

The Go-To Platform for Flawless Remote Interviews

  • October 21, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The unparalleled audio and video quality is what truly sets Riverside apart. As someone who regularly records interviews with clients and industry experts, I need a platform that guarantees studio-grade results without requiring a technical setup. The separate, high-fidelity tracks for each participant are a lifesaver in post-production, giving my team perfect clarity and flexibility. It just works, every single time.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the core recording experience is exceptional, the built-in text-based editor feels a bit basic compared to the rest of the platform. For quick edits, it's fine, but we typically download the files for more advanced polishing in a dedicated editing suite. A slightly more robust in-browser editing feature would make the workflow even more seamless.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Riverside has completely eliminated the anxiety of recording high-stakes remote conversations. Before, we struggled with sync issues and inconsistent audio on other platforms, which undermined our professional credibility. Now, we can confidently record podcast episodes and client testimonials with participants from anywhere in the world. This has not only elevated our content quality but also significantly expanded our production capabilities without increasing our budget.

Helps keep our remote recordings smooth and consistent

  • October 21, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Riverside has made it easier for us to record interviews and team discussions online. The audio stays clear, and even when someone’s connection drops, the recording isn’t lost. The platform is simple to use, and guests can join easily through a link without any setup. I also like that the files save automatically and can be accessed later without any trouble. It feels dependable for regular use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes longer videos take a bit more time to process, and I’ve noticed that editing directly in the browser can lag if multiple tracks are open. It’s manageable, but a small area for improvement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Earlier we had issues with sound cutting out or losing sync during recordings done over other tools. With Riverside, those problems have been reduced a lot. It keeps things more stable, and we don’t have to repeat sessions anymore. It saves time and gives us consistent results for our projects.

Stable and dependable option for remote recordings

  • October 21, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Riverside has been a reliable tool for recording interviews and discussions remotely. The biggest advantage is that each participant’s audio and video are saved locally, so even if someone’s internet drops for a moment, the final recording still comes out clean. The interface is simple and doesn’t require much setup, which makes it easier for guests who aren’t very technical. I also like that it works directly from the browser, so we don’t have to install extra apps every time.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing that slows us down sometimes is the upload and processing time after long sessions. It can take a bit of patience before the files are ready to download. Also, I noticed that the mobile version doesn’t have all the same options as the desktop one, but it still works fine for short recordings.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before using Riverside, we had problems with dropped calls and poor sound quality during online interviews. Editing took longer because of those issues. Since we started using Riverside, our sessions have been much smoother, and the recordings stay consistent even with multiple guests. It helps us save time and keeps the final output more organized and usable.

Simple and steady for remote recordings

  • October 21, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Riverside works reliably even when internet speed isn’t great. The local recording system helps keep audio clear, and it’s easy to send a link and start a session. The layout is straightforward, so it doesn’t take much time to get used to.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it takes a bit longer to upload long recordings, and I’ve seen small sync delays when switching between camera views. Not major issues, but worth noting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We often record interviews and meetings remotely, and before using Riverside, connection drops caused a lot of frustration. With this tool, recordings stay stable and usable, which saves us time during editing and follow-up work.
