Makes Remote Podcasting Fast, Easy, Reliable
What do you like best about the product?
As the producer of a new podcast, using Riverside makes me feel confident in my work, it's intuitive for inviting a variety of guests, and easy to implement over and over again.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost of the product is a small barrier to entry.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Rather than creating an entire podcast studio and require guests come to us, we're able to use their equipment and find a time in their schedule and space that works for them. The ease of use for guests makes our content output more sustainable.

First remote podcast session done abd went without a problem. Easy to use and guest found simple to use as well. 👍👍

What do you like best about the product?
When I invited the first audience to our Riverside Studio, they asked where it was located! So many features feel human and personal.
We have switched our recordings for The Coaching Inn podcast to Riverside. It's so great - we are running 400 past episodes through the system to update keywords and more.
I especially like that it suggests better titles than I do! There are many extra features that save time and money when it's all in one place - the show notes; the magic clips; the transcript. We were paying people to do these. And now it all drops out of the first edit and is easy to tweak.
And I though I'd never leave Audacity!

Took a bit of time to get in flow and didn't ding the written hep stuff easy to navigate. BUT they emailed me promptly for a person to help! (Like!)

A game changer for my podcast
What do you like best about the product?
Riverside gives me professional-level tools that took my podcast from a terrible-sounding Zoom audio show to a clean, vibrant video presentation.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't spent enough time in the platform to find any negatives yet. So far so good.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Riverside offers tools that make my workflow so much easier then it previously was. They also have a thorough and super helpful YouTube channel.
Easy to use and packed with features
What do you like best about the product?
I love that is it fairly straightforward and easy to use but comes with so many features to make it easy to edit, produce, and share my podcast. I love the auto summary, the transcripts, the magic clips (and how easy it is to resize). And they keep adding more features!
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much! At first I would get lost because I tried to treat edited files as "separate" from their parent episode and I'd have no idea where they went, but as I get comfortable with the navigation I now understand how they don't exist as separate files until you export them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I need a low cost and high efficiency way of recording and publishing my podcast.
Love Riverside for my podcast
What do you like best about the product?
The quality of video and audio are great, and I love that I get separate tracks for host and guests for ultimate control in editing. The new AI-generated edits and clips are also so helpful. Plus, getting transcripts included is worth the price by itself!
What do you dislike about the product?
There's not much that I don't like about Riverside, other than it is a bit limited on where it works so some guests have to update their Chrome to get logged in. Hasn't really been a problem though.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This replaces recording podcasts in Zoom and having to deal with the quality problems of overlapping talk and gives me better quality video. Plus, it also gives me transcripts, which saves me a lot of money that I once used on Rev.com.
Excellent for both new and experienced podcasters
What do you like best about the product?
Riverside is intuitive and easy to use. The media board and host controls are excellent. The editor also makes post production a breeze giving the average podcast everything they need to produce a quality show. If you need something more advances they give you the ability to download and upload audio and video (after editing through a more robust program - like FinalCut or Adobe) and then publish it. Eaither way - Riverside allows for easy and quality multi-guest recording. When getting started I needed to reach out to customer support - they were quick to respond, understood the issue, and were able to help me find a solution.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are several features - Live logos and certain video effects that require a business account - which is disspointing. Also, I wish it was possible to reorganize the media/sound board. This is faily simple and something a bit more robust would be appreciated - as well as the option to play several media files at once - e.g. a video and a separate audio file.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Riverside is helping me streamline my podcast production process and allowing me to easily create a quality live show across various platforms with audience engangement.

Riverside is a great service to start and grow a podcast. We started off using it just because it was recommended to us, but now it's become a regular part of our production beyond just podcasts!
We love how easy it is to use, and the best part is they keep adding big features that add so much value that we've actually been able to consolidate some of our production into just Riverside instead of using multiple web apps. It's like there's a new feature every other week that's game changing!

What do you dislike about the product?
It's still in its infancy a bit, and there are some things missing from the service that are present in other apps/places. It's totally worth the money we pay for it now, but we can see ourselves needing to grow quickly and upgrade eventually, and that can end up being expensive.
Some of the more important customizable settings are locked behind an enterprise account which is prohibitively expensive for our team at the moment.
I wish they had a better live-streaming "studio" that would make our livestreams better off in Riverside vs Zoom (what we currently use)

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Making a remote podcast even remotely (lol) possible.
I'm too much of a perfectionist to try and start a podcast using Zoom, and the quality and ease that Riverside provides fixes that problem for us.

What do you like best about the product?
Riverside.fm makes podcast recording a breeze! I love that guests don't need to install any extra software. It's super user friendly and the separate audio tracks make editing a breeze! Also the feature that pulls social clips from your episode has been a game changer!
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the magic editing features need a little work - so we just edit everything manually.

It's so eay to use the platform and the features all make it easy to capture, record and deliver the recordings. The video quality is supurb!

I have no dislikes whatsoever. Every time I log in the features improve!

Remote recording ease. High quality of videos. The ease of creation of shorts through AI is great.
