Great for AI Search Strategy, but Custom KPI Reporting Can Feel Clunky
What do you like best about the product?
BrightEdge AI Hyper Cube platform shifts the focus to where everyone is actually searching now—ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity. It’s a total vibe shift for digital strategy.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the pre-built executive dashboards are robust, tailoring the reports to track highly specific, quantifiable KPIs or bespoke digital transformation metrics isn't always intuitive and can feel clunky.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Traditional SEO tools only track standard search engine results pages (SERPs). BrightEdge (especially with its recent AI Hyper Cube platform) solves the lack of visibility into how AI engines like ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews cite sources, surface brands, and recommend products.

Being able to do all of the research for SEO and writing planning in one place, with data to back up why we are doing what we are doing (for executive)

It is sometimes hard to navigate and find tools

How to increase our brand and website awareness through written content on our page. It’s supporting the refinement of web content
Incredible CSM Support and Continuous Innovation from BrightEdge
What do you like best about the product?
Our CSM Sarah James is incredible! She’s always so positive and helps us come up with new ideas and ensures we stay up-to-date with the latest trends. We also like that BrightEdge, as an organization, is always innovating and rolling out new tools and features so that we can stay on top of SEO/AEO.
What do you dislike about the product?
Only being able to have AI Catalyst on one of our domains.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a very small team of two and BrightEdge’s Autopilot, recommendations, Site Audit, etc. help us tackle more in terms of SEO. It makes it easier for us to stay knowledgeable on best practices and implement necessary changes.
Favorite Marketing Tool
What do you like best about the product?
BrightEdge has been my favorite marketing tool I have ever worked with…and actually my favorite cold call I ever answered!
It has helped us tremendously improve our SEO as well as drive better content decisions. When we don’t have time to tinker with it the auto pilot has done wonders to help us while needing to focus on other marketing iniatives.
They keep adding new features that continue to make my teams life easier!

Powerful Dashboard Reporting Backed by Outstanding Customer Success Support
What do you like best about the product?
Love the dashboard reports for scheduled reporting and detailed metric reporting to stay on top of priority areas of our site. Also can’t say enough of the support we get from our customer success manager.
What do you dislike about the product?
It’s a bit of a pro and a con, but BrightEdge keeps rolling out new features and updating the platform, especially to keep up with AI. At times, it can be hard to stay on top of everything that’s available and to know whether I’m using the tool to its fullest. Still, I appreciate having so many tools and options, and I like that they’re consistently reinvesting in the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It keeps me on track with our regular SEO maintenance and content optimization. I also really appreciate the added support for staying on top of AEO performance, along with the competitive tracking and benchmarks.
Fantastic CSM and Tailored Support from BrightEdge
What do you like best about the product?
BrightEdge is such a great partner for us. Our CSM is fantastic and very knowledgeable. The tailored support is so refreshing.
What do you dislike about the product?
There really isn’t anything I dislike. I’d say something we’ve shared feedback on is about editing prompts. It feels a little tedious having to go back and forth. It makes cleaning up your prompt list a little tricky.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping us with our AEO/GEO/SEO strategy. Our college shares a name with other unrelated colleges and working through recommendations is very helpful.

However, BrightEdge balances this long runway with unmatched hands-on support. Every account is paired with a dedicated Customer Success Manager (CSM) who facilitates bi-weekly strategy syncs.
AI features:
The AI HyperCube helps me understand AI journey mapping, showing whether the brand is represented across the AI discovery lifecycle. I also like to understand which publishers, platforms, and content pieces influence AI recommendations. It allows for competitor benchmarking to see where the gaps are and where competitors are winning AI citations.
I regularly rely on SEO Copilot for content creation; it acts as an intelligent assistant that automatically generates localized content briefs and uncovers search intent signals we might have otherwise missed. Furthermore, the AI Hyper Cube feature has revolutionized our approach to Answer Engine Optimization (AEO). It doesn't just track traditional Google rankings—it monitors how our brand is being mentioned and cited across AI search environments like Google’s AI Overviews, Perplexity, and ChatGPT. I think it requires a lot of learning curves to understand the UI. There's also a bit of a data overload among too much amount of data. It was not too easy because we used to have, like, an onboarding coach. Some colleagues still struggle with understanding where they have to go within the UI to get what they need. The nested structure can occasionally feel dense. Navigating through multiple sub-pages and deeply buried menus to toggle between highly specific regional or localized keyword sets requires a steeper learning curve than standard, lightweight tools
Price wise, I find the price a little bit on the high end as Its a customized enterprise pricing model—scaled by domain count, user seats, and tracked keyword volume—can be a prohibitive cost barrier for smaller or mid-market operations.

Powerful AI & Traditional Search Insights, But Navigation Can Be Confusing
What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to see how my clients are performing in both traditional and AI search. There are a lot of helpful insights, and I also love having access to HyperCube so I can get a clearer idea of AI visibility for the brands I’m working on.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform is a little confusing and I lose track of where to find certain features and reporting tools. I usually have to click around and try different areas to find what I’m looking for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I like that the AI reporting is expanding and I can get a quick idea of how brands are performing in AI search without having to do a full audit. Also gives me ideas of questions that people are asking in AI chats.
Brightedge Simplifies SEO & AEO and Supercharges Content Strategy
What do you like best about the product?
Not even sure where to start…Brightedge has made our SEO and AEO performance so much easier to improve, it’s helped us create a content strategy that performs and it helps our campaigns perform better than they ever have prior to using the platform
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing about the platform itself, more that it gives me so many things to look at doing better and we don’t have enough people on our team to make the most of it
