Why BrightEdge is the right solution to our agency needs
What do you like best about the product?
Having used BrightEdge for over 10 years they never disappoint. Our team uses the tools daily. The support is superior to any other platform we use. The ease of implementation makes it a positive experience for our team. The continuous improvement and innovation are hands down better than any of the other SEO tools we have used. BrightEdge has features for search, there is no dilution in what they specialize in. We moved exclusively to BrightEdge as of 2024 for that reason alone. The tools allow teams to align, refine, and produce significantly better work.
What do you dislike about the product?
Once in a while, we experience issues with data but let me say that happens when we are selected for beta. We don't dislike it so much as we understand we are helping to refine the new tool. We don't dislike anything about the BrightEdge platform or team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keyword research helps our clients to see data that is independent versus the client sharing the keywords they want but may not be valuable.
Location-based search value
Opportunity forecasting to ensure we are focused on the highest value keywords, by sharing this we can drill down to specific keywords and attach a value to them.
Current ranks and type of rank. This is very important for clients to see not only what position but type of position.
Content Assistant help our writers to organize content briefs and share with the client for approval - cutting down a significant amount of time on preparation for a new piece of content.

A Great Companion for SEO and Website Performance
What do you like best about the product?
1. Many useful features meet good user interface = not complicated to use.
2. I frequently use BrightEdge since it helps me creating reports of website traffic and website performance. It is also a great SEO tool that is super useful for finding keyword ideas for company's blog articles and tracking keyword trend that is related to ecommerce product pages.
3. Easy to integrate the data downloaded from BrightEdge with Excel and Google Sheets etc since it's in CSV format.
4. It's even easier now to implement the keyword ideas and stuff, since I can put them into tasks and assign them immediately within BrightEdge itself.
5. Violet is always ready to support with useful advices, as well as the introduction of new features.

What do you dislike about the product?
1. Not all features include Indonesia - Bahasa Indonesia (Google Search region - language). For example, I can't find it on Content Research.
2. The fixed one-week period on each feature. Would be better if I can adjust the date range so I can match company's financial calendar for more accurate reporting.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Both the company's ecommerce website and blog were lacking of organic traffic and conversions. Thanks to BrightEdge features and tools, for the recent years I've been able to implement the right SEO keywords, as well as other best practices base on the insights I get from there, such as site audit etc. The metrics keep on improving to be better and better.

Very Satisfied Marketing Content Writer
What do you like best about the product?
I love the Instant tab. This is where you can see what keywords a certain website is ranking for that may not be on your focus keyword list. Keywords can constantly fluctuate and periodically checking back on this is very helpful. Content Advisor is amazing. Easy, user-friendly, and a GREAT AI tool to build the foundation for great content.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the Recommendations section was easier to navigate and use. For example, creating tasks is time-consuming. I would much rather just complete the task than go through the process of assigning it and such. Also, why is there not an option to just delete a task when you close it? Or, did I miss this?

Content Advisor Review
What do you like best about the product?
BrightEdge helps us find what users are searching for in terms of recipes and spices in the US, CAN and UK. It also allows us to track and monitor keywords and page groups while implementing new strategies from any quick win suggestions. The new Content Advisor feature has aided us in providing more indepth data and content to our article team and has been a success so far. We have also used it to help our kitchens team gain insight on trending recipes and copy when we are creating net new content.
What do you dislike about the product?
Other then a few kinks that need to be sorted out here and there, BrightEdge has been a great tool for the McCormick team. Any issues we run into, our rep Nicole has been super helpful! We appreciate it so much.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
BrightEdge has helped us come up with ways to improve our SEO that we might've missed, especially with our sub-brands and non US sites. Content Advisor specifially has made our yearly article planning 10x easier as we can now give our writers some context on the subjects we are asking them to write about. Overall, Brightedge allows us to be organized and innovative with our content and SEO properties.

What do you like best about the product?
My favorite thing about BrightEdge is that it's really an all in one platform. We're able to easily track progress and performance, maintain our site health, and complete extensive research for current and future initiatives. It's also incredibly useful that we're able to see what our competitors are doing, and to find overlaps and opportunities that will help push us forward in the SERPs. The platform gives us actionable insights that make implementing our initiatives simple and striaghtforward. We also love our bi-weekly meetings with our BrightEdge team that allow us to collaborate on projects and learn new features of the platform and how BrightEdge can further meet our needs. It really helps us stay up to date and to ensure we're making the most of our experience with BrightEdge.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform is so large that it can be difficult, at times, to keep up with all of its capabilities, which is why it's so great we're able to have meetings with our BrightEdge team so they can help us there. The dashboards are really useful, but I struggle with understanding how to put together each report. I've really enjoyed using the Generative AI function in Content Advisor to create content briefs, and while it's been incredibly helpful, I would like the ability to exclude certain keywords from use as not all keywords are applicable in each scenario.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
BrightEdge has been really great in helping me with research for my projects. The Instant report has been a really helpful tool, allowing me to complete keyword research and to tackle it from many different angles. Lately, I've been using the Generative AI function within Content Advisor to create content briefs. As with many people, AI is so new to me and has definitely had a learning curve in figuring out how AI can be useful to me and my team. Thankfully, BrightEdge makes it really simple and I've been able to gain many insights from AI in Content Advisor. I recently had a project where I was tasked with creating new title tags and meta descriptions for each of our store location pages. As they all have similar characteristics and target similar, if not the same, keywords, it was a bit difficult at times to create unique titles and descriptions for each location. The AI tool was incredibly helpful in this as it mixed things up for me and gave me new suggestions I hadn't thought of. The suggestions were incredibly creative as well and all made sense in the given context. We've passed along our knowledge of the tool to other members of our team in the hopes that they will find it just as useful as we have.

What do you like best about the product?
As I've worked with BrightEdge for over a decade one thing that I've consistently admired is their ability to update to stay relevant with the ever evolving search trends. They are consistenly monitoring the SEO trends and modifying / updating the software to help us SEOs stay on top.
What do you dislike about the product?
I also work with non-profit organizations and we need to use other SEO applications that meet their budget. I wish their were subscripiton levels or charity options for BrightEdge.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to expand on keyword topics so we are telling the whole story is very important to our team. Looking at the search landscape is one feature we reliy on frequently. We need to integrate our SEO data with our traffic data to tell the whole story, BrightEdge helps us do this. Finally we often need to run SEO reports or pull data at a moments notice for our product marketing leaders. Having the historical data in BrightEdge's data make this task much easier.

It's so full of possibilities that you miss out on a lot if you don't have enough resources to exploit the platform. And because it's so extensive it is also expensive.

Brightedge can adapt its solution to your situation. If you need help creating / analysing report they can help, If you need help reviewing your metas, they can help, etc.
