What do you like best about the product?
BrightEdge provides a great tool with excellent features that help you optimize content. The big win is their effort to help you maximize your tool use with a systematic onboarding process and customer success manager that helps with strategy, tactics and training.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times there are so many features that it can be overwhelming. Not sure there can be too much of a good thing, but this tool is great for specialists that use the tool frequently and can maintain familiarity with the product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
While we were fairly happy with our website traffic before BrightEdge, we also knew we could do better to drive organic traffic. BrightEdge has helped with quick wins on both technical SEO as well as content strategy to help us drive traffic to pages that were underperforming. Having Danielle as our customer success manager helped us extract as much value from the tool as possible.

What do you like best about the product?
BrightEdge is a data-first platform that helps non-data people understand the story being told. I really like how the platform can offer both high-level and in-depth analytics and you're able to really personalize what you want to see. It makes reporting out to a variety of people and skill sets much easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't really like that BrightEdge seems to be behind in their data. It's the end of May and, as of yesterday, I was only seeing data for April. When there's so much volatility in search, sometimes I need a more up-to-date view of what's happening. How can I diagnose a problem if the data isn't there?
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
BrightEdge is helping us understand what technical pitfalls our website has and where to fix them. It's also helping us see where we have poorly performing content or content gaps so we can inform our content strategy.
Great tool for optimizing and tracking valuable SEO data, including competitor SEO.

Cost is high relative to other products on the market.

BrightEdge is a phenomenal platform for keyword research, traffic, and reporting. However if I were to pinpoint one thing I like best, it's their platform support, the Team is awesome!!!

High price tag so hard for small and medium sized businesses.

Needing to rank better for specific keyword sets. BrightEdge helps me keep tracking those, further research, and Professional Services all together.

BrightEdge's platform and their professional services provide a world of insight into organic traffic, SERP results, and competitor analysis. The granular level of detail in their data is unparalleled.
What do you dislike about the product?
BrightEdge is costly for my organization but is well worth the money.

BrightEdge benefits me by providing in depth insights into our copious keyword groups. Plus I can use the content advisor tool to create briefs which automates a task that otherwise would take more of my time.

Sometimes it is a bit "information overload" and difficult to teach others on how to use it.

Identifying keywords, not just for web page SEO, but also for writing press releases and new web page content.
A product with so much potential held back by UX

Brightedge offers a large variety of tools for SEO that are both insightful and remove many tedious activities and the need for external platforms.
My favorite feature is how you can leverage multiple search engines and track keywords from different local markets.

BrightEdge is only held back by its large number of tools and options creating a large learning curve and analysis paralysis.
I would like to see them put solutions and onboarding on several guided roadmaps based on the companies and brand they are working with.

Brightedge is solving the need to keep track of SEO performance in local markets for our nationwide, multi-location businesses. Having insights across the nation at a glance is powerful.
