BrightEdge AI/GEO Platform - AI Catalyst
What do you like best about the product?
BrightEdge is super helpful for client work because it helps us stay ahead of the curve, especially with how search is evolving with large language models. The Catalyst tool makes it easy to connect the dots between SEO research and how content is showing up in generative AI results. It gives us real time insights into what topics are gaining traction, how clients are being surfaced in AI powered search experiences, and where we can improve. This kind of visibility is huge for guiding strategy and making smart content decisions that keep our clients competitive in a constantly changing search landscape.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I find a bit challenging with BrightEdge is how pricing is tied to the number of keywords. For agencies managing multiple clients or larger websites, it can get limiting or expensive pretty quickly. It would be great to have more flexibility, especially when testing new strategies or expanding into emerging topics. That said, the platform does offer a lot of value, and the insights are strong but a more scalable pricing model could make it even better for growing teams or agencies working across different industries.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
BrightEdge is solving a major challenge we're seeing with clients right now; most of them aren’t sure how to respond to the rapid growth of large language models and how that impacts their search visibility. Tools like GEO and the AI powered Catalyst help us break down complex data and show clients exactly where they stand, including how their content is showing up in generative AI experiences. It turns uncertainty into clear, visual insights and gives us a way to guide them with real action steps. BrightEdge helps us bring clarity and confidence to an area that can otherwise feel overwhelming.

Best Enterprise SEO Tool on the Market
What do you like best about the product?
We’ve been using BrightEdge for a few years now and it’s become a core part of how we manage SEO at scale. With a global marketing team spread across regions and business units, we needed a platform that could give us visibility into performance across all our sites—and BrightEdge nailed it. The dashboards are super helpful for tracking what content is actually moving the needle, and it’s been a lifesaver for proving the value of organic to non-SEO stakeholders.
One thing I really like is how it helps us find content gaps and prioritize efforts based on actual opportunity size. Plus, the integration with analytics tools makes it easier to connect SEO impact to broader business goals. We’ve also started testing some of the AI-driven recommendations and, while not perfect, they’re getting better and do help the team move faster.
That said, the UI could be a little more intuitive in spots, and onboarding new users takes some time. But once your team is up to speed, it’s a gamechanger. If you’re managing SEO across a large enterprise footprint, I’d defintely give it a look.

Some of the reports take forever to load, especially when you’re pulling data across a ton of domains or a large timeframe. We’ve also had a few moments where the platform data didn’t quite line up with what we were seeing in GA or Adobe, which made it hard to tell which source to trust.
Another thing—we expected a bit more from the AI features. They’re decent for content recommendations, but sometimes the suggestions are kinda generic or off-base. Would be great if it could get more contextual based on our industry.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest problem BrightEdge has helped us solve is getting a unified view of SEO across a super complex web environment. We’re dealing with dozens of sites, multiple business units, and teams all over the world—so having one place to track performance, keywords, and content opportunities is huge. Before BrightEdge, it felt like we were stitching everything together manually with spreadsheets and random dashboards.
Now we can actually see what’s working, what’s not, and where we should focus our efforts. The visibility it gives us into keyword trends and content gaps has helped us make smarter decisions, faster. It’s also made it a lot easier to show the value of SEO to leadership, especially when we can tie it back to traffic, leads, or even influenced revenue.
Another big win is the ability to scale recommendations. Our content teams aren’t all SEO experts, so being able to surface best practices right in the workflow is a game-changer. Everyone moves faster and our content gets better results.
The tool’s not perfect, but it’s solved some real pain points for us and honestly made life a bit less chaotic. Would def reccomend for big teams with messy SEO setups.
