What do you like best about the product?
I use Unbabel primarily for translating a newsletter generated on Mailchimp to other languages. It is very easy to create my newsletter in English, download the HTML file and upload that to Unbabel for translation - all while keeping the original format. (I'm absolutely not tech-savvy in any way). But in general for things that don't require any special formatting you can just copy and paste your text into the box and it comes back in the language you select - straight forward.

In addition to how easy it is to use, the turn around time is actually alot faster than advertised and the tech support is helpful and responsive. Those two points are quite important to me since alot of my work is time sensitive.

Several team members at my organisation share the Unbabel account and we can easily track who is translating what project, the % of translation left to use for that period, user management can be done by one of our staff.

On the whole I would recommend this service. I also regularly use human translation and interpretation, google translate, DeepL pro and Unbabel is probably the best for anyone doing comms that needs a reasonible turn around time at a high quality.
What do you dislike about the product?
The service that we have is to translate English to 5 different languages (and not from other languages to English). If I could change anything, I would recommend getting your top two languages translated to your main working language - rather than just have your main working language translated to other languages. For example, we work mainly in English and regularly translate to Spanish - our service is English to Spanish. But next time I would order the service that allows translation from Spanish to English too.

This has nothing to do with Unbabel and everything to do with the package we selected. We didn't realise what we needed until we started using Unbabel, especially since we have been growing as an organisation this year. Again, this was just poor planning on our part and nothing to do with Unbabel.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest timesaver is Unbabel's ability to maintain the original format of documents that I submit to the system. Otherwise, I would have to create a separate re-formatted document for each language audience, which would take a significant amount of time.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it's to translate tickets from our users and how easy it's to translate tickets in English to any language.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wouldn't call it dislike. I believe that in the future features that are missing will be added and will increase the value of Unbabel by far
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Unbabel integrates with our CRM provider and allow us to translate articles/tickets fast and their translations are very high quality

What do you like best about the product?
The colleagues at Unbabel and how they listen to our feedback, improve the product and find solutions to our issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is no document translation so if our customers send us documents they cannot be translated by Unbabel.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Unbabel helps us with the language support of our customers even in case of our customer service colleagues don't speak the language.

What do you like best about the product?
As an administrator of Unbabel at Wise, I find the Unbabel portal most helpful. The ability to view usage and quality statistics, add users for access, and flag any potential incorrect translations all in one hub makes my job much more manageable and convenient. I have grown to really like the UBB portal :)
What do you dislike about the product?
It is difficult for me to pinpoint something I dislike, but I can identify something that I feel may be a missing feature I have seen in competitors: attachment translation. This feature may be handy for our CS agents working on foreign language cases.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have recently merged our email queues which were previously separated by language. Using Unbabel allows our English-speaking agents to work on cases from all regions and languages.

What do you like best about the product?
Unbabel is user-friendly and slick. It allows us to support our global users from limited bases and internal language cover. We always receive excellent service when we seek collaboration on expansion or quality analysis.
What do you dislike about the product?
There haven´t been any things to dislike; their service has been outstanding. A small, "even better if" suggestion would be to allow the user to change from formal to informal tone on each transaction instead of having this set by language. This is a tiny point - overall a delighted customer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We do not have native support in-house for all the languages we deal with. Unbable allows us to service customers in their native language, without having to recruit internally.

Sometimes there are system issues which take long time to solve, but it is a complex system I assume, so it is acceptable.

What do you like best about the product?
Always quick to respond to any queries and get problems sorted quickly. Always happy to accomodate on tight deadlines.
What do you dislike about the product?
The ease platform could be a bit more user friendly when uploading documents. For example, taking away any options that are not included in the package you have, just to speed up the upload.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have 2 non english sites that require translations. Before Unbabel we were using different agencies to translate content with meant it was hard to keep consistency. Also, having the platform to upload documents saves time as you are not waiting for someone to respond to email to organise the translation. The platform also make it easy to raise multiple translation requests at one time and keep track of them.

What do you like best about the product?
The translation tool for Customer Service tickets is accurate and concise and the tool is really easy to use.

Sometimes the translations take a little longer to come through than expected.

We do not have any native French or German speakers in the team, so the tool allows the customer support agents to obtain an accurate translation and ultimately communicate with the customer in their localised language.
