Reliable and Scalable

  • October 21, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
As a smaller company managing nearly 50 devices, JumpCloud has been reliable and easy to use. While we haven’t encountered any major issues yet with our employees, it’s reassuring to know support is available if needed. We’re confident the platform will scale with us as our company continues to grow.
What do you dislike about the product?
For smaller teams, JumpCloud can feel a bit more complex than necessary at first. Some of the advanced features may take time to learn, but the platform is well-documented and support is available.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As our team grows, managing access to multiple devices and applications can become challenging. JumpCloud’s centralized user and device management makes it easy to control who has access to what, helping prevent security issues and saving time on IT administration.

  • October 21, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
JumpCloud stands out as a versatile and secure directory platform that delivers an excellent experience for both users and administrators. Its intuitive interface makes it easy to manage users, devices, and access policies without unnecessary complexity. The environment is highly configurable, allowing IT teams to fine-tune security and compliance settings to meet their organization’s specific needs.

One of JumpCloud’s strongest points is its emphasis on security. Features such as multi-factor authentication, conditional access, and a built-in password manager help ensure that user credentials and company data remain protected at all times. Administrators benefit from centralized control and visibility, reducing the overhead typically associated with managing diverse systems.

In terms of compatibility, JumpCloud offers seamless support for all major operating systems, including macOS, Windows, and Linux, making it an ideal solution for mixed-device environments. This cross-platform flexibility enables consistent policy enforcement and streamlined user management across the entire organization.
Overall, JumpCloud combines ease of use, strong security, and extensive configurability into a single unified platform—making it a top choice for businesses seeking a reliable identity and access management solution.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of some functionality on linux flavours in comparison to Windows and macOS

Endpoints and servers management in one place, with high security and SSO, acting also as LDAP and RADIUS for different use scenarios.

JumpCloud Does It All

  • October 21, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful thing about JumpCloud is the ability to work in tandem with our IT firm to help get new computers up and working for new staff members quickly. As a predominant user of Apple Mac products, JumpCloud's end user interface is always so sleek and modern, and matches the Apple aesthetic. Since I predominantly am helping the end user at their computer, having the JumpCloud system be easy to use and work for the staff is paramount. I can honestly say that I have never run into a major or serious issue that has put our computers at risk or prevented us from working as usual while using JumpCloud's services.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside I have encountered with JumpCloud is that sometimes it takes longer than I would like for new systems to come online. There have been a few times with new computers/users that getting them set up for the first time or getting their computer to show their user login takes longer than I would like. It always ends up working out, but it sometimes makes the onboarding process take longer on my end.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud is helping us solve the management of our computers, as well as managing what users are assigned to what computer. Having the ability to add a user to any of our computers in the system almost instantly is a huge plus and makes swapping users if an incident with a computer appears much easier, and allows our users to continue working seamlessly.

It provides a centralized system, it's easier to maintain up-to-date records.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some features can be a bit complex, the interface could be more intuitive, at first it seems a bit complicated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud helps us manage user access and device security in one place. It integrates smoothly with NetSuite, which makes user authentication and access control much easier to manage. This helps keep our financial data secure and ensures the right people have the right access.

Comprehensive and Secure, but Needs Faster Sync and Smoother Device Management

  • October 21, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I appreciate most about JumpCloud is its cohesive platform that allows for secure management of users, devices, and access from a single dashboard.
It streamlines identity and access management across various systems, facilitating smooth integration with both cloud and on-premises environments.
The zero-trust security framework, automated user provisioning, and centralized policy enforcement not only save time but also enhance compliance and control.
Moreover, its comprehensive reporting, support for multiple platforms, and integration with tools such as MDM, SSO, and MFA render it a complete solution for IT administrators.
The user-friendly interface and robust automation features boost productivity and assist in maintaining security standards effectively throughout the organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
JumpCloud has room for improvement, particularly in its reporting and real-time monitoring features, as data updates and synchronization can sometimes be delayed. While the user interface is generally intuitive, it tends to become sluggish when managing a large number of users or devices. After installing the JumpCloud agent on a device, there are occasions when the device does not appear correctly in the admin dashboard, with the serial number or service tag often displaying as “–”. Even when the system is online, attempting to establish remote access can result in long loading times, and sometimes the connection fails altogether. Some advanced integrations or automation options also require more manual configuration than what is typical on other platforms. Although the mobile device management (MDM) features have improved, they still do not offer the depth needed for enterprise-level use. Overall, JumpCloud is a solid and reliable solution, but enhancements in device synchronization accuracy, connection speed, and dashboard responsiveness would make it even more effective.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud is assisting us in centralizing user management, authentication, and device control across various systems and locations. It streamlines the onboarding and offboarding processes, enforces security policies, and integrates effectively with other tools such as SentinelOne and VPNs. By managing users, access, and devices from a unified console, it significantly saves time for the IT team, minimizes manual effort, and improves overall security compliance. Furthermore, it offers seamless remote access and monitoring, which is essential for supporting distributed teams and ensuring efficient operations throughout our infrastructure.

Easy to use, well supported and comprehensive cloud directory option with MDM Great for education.

  • October 20, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
JumpCloud is a very straight-foward to use program that allows for easy device deployment and management. Much easier to work with than other MDM's I worked with in the past. It is also available for Windows, Linux and Mac which is a benefit over some other options.

Deployment was easy with their integration team. Very dedicated and flexible in getting JumpCloud deployed. Good support as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I would like to see improved is LDAP integration over a wider amount of vendors. I wanted to move away from AD completely and have not been able to federate one of my services yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is solving password policy as well as directory service and MDM for our organization. They have a good remote support tool that I have not used yet, but it appears to be a great feature from what I have tested.
