What do you like best about the product?
As a small company, we're always mindful of our budget, and JumpCloud's transparent pricing model has allowed us to access enterprise-grade IT management tools without breaking the bank. The value we've derived from JumpCloud far exceeds its cost, making it a no-brainer investment for any small business looking to optimize its IT infrastructure.
What do you dislike about the product?
Our small IT department of 2 people can honestly say we don't dislike anything about JumpCloud.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud's cloud-based approach has provided us with unparalleled flexibility and scalability. Gone are the days of grappling with on-premises servers and cumbersome legacy systems. With JumpCloud, we can seamlessly adapt to our evolving needs, effortlessly adding new users and devices as our company grows.

Excellent tool for controlling your devices

What do you like best about the product?
We have been using the tool for over 4 years and have always had a lot to praise. The tools within the solution bring a very high level of security, helping us to guarantee the use of equipment remotely with the greatest possible control and great results to this day.

I recommend it to everyone who is looking for and comparing it with other tools on the market for your easy implemetation, use, integration and great support.
What do you dislike about the product?
The price is not bad, but it could be better.

Bring CPU and memory consumption metrics to evaluate equipment replacement or rotation
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As our work environment is basically remote, controlling devices and SSO from a centralized point of control were the aspects that helped me the most in using and maintaining the solution.

Friendly and easy to use it

What do you like best about the product?
How easy is to manage applications and new users assign to the endpoint.
What do you dislike about the product?
Is not so simple to audit some information from endpoints, for example, those needs I need a list of the applications that was recently installed on the endpoint. I couldn't find it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud helped to streamline process to apply policies to manage endpoints as laptops, smartphones and tablets. This is super helpful in terms of controlling and maintain our equipment making our lives easier!

JumpCloud is like hiring someone just to do directory service and MDM management.

What do you like best about the product?
Once fully deployed, JumpCloud saves me so much time when deploying new endpoints or trying to provision new users. I can fully roll out a new laptop and user in less than an hour. My end users love the single sign-on aspect, and I can generate every kind of report you would need for something CMMC or NIST compliance. It's incredibly easy to create dynamic groups to provision server access or assign software licenses based on what department a user is in or whether they're and FTE or contractor.
What do you dislike about the product?
Jumpcloud take a bit to get deployed, to the point where you have all your user and computer policies and so on configured. I really wish that I could create a dynamic group for computers without a particular piece of software, run a command to install that software, then have the computer drop out of that group.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to enforce a unified security policy across a fleet of mostly MacBooks, SSO access to major SaaS apps, RBAC for both security and application access groups, a remote access tool (we're mostly remote), OS update/upgrade and software installation

Excellent idea but the product is not there yet

  • May 09, 2024
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
As an identity management tool, it is very solid and reliable, SSO, end-user experience is ease and fluid.
What do you dislike about the product?
It seems like they are trying to implement too many features at the same time: Password manager, software deployment, and RMM. In theory, it is a great idea, but the delivery is very mediocre; none of these solutions work in a reliable way.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are trying to implement Jumpcloud as an overall solution for all our IT needs.

CommonLogin method for various services

  • May 09, 2024
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Central location for managing access to the various company services
What do you dislike about the product?
A little convoluted and long-winded way of login. A fingerprint login or facial recognition (Apple devices) would be better
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Single sign on for various services. Less passwords to remember while still being secure.

Simplify your life with Jumpcloud

What do you like best about the product?
DaaS - Getting rid of Microsoft AD was a huge overhead piece that we just didn't need. Microsoft just wasn't a reliable partner.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing i can think of is radius. Sometimes its slow...oh and the app search within the mdm takes some time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All the above. It's the one stop shop. it simplifies life!

Good but buggy

  • May 09, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The password manager along with it's extentions are pretty good and handy to use. Its also easy to manage users on a large scale and monitor several systems as a system admin with ease.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are several bugs which annoy me when I try to use JumpCloud. One of the most annoying one's being that when a device is given sudo previledge, and saved, the access is not reflected after saving. After multiple attempts, it begins to work as expected
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are now able to have a secure network of devices which are isolated from attacks. It prevents any sort of data breach attacks since we can lock our computers and delete the data whenever a breach happens. We are also able to manage all our device IPs and model specification along with other metadata at one place
