Amazing and Hassle-free solution. Complete AD is like a normal software
What do you like best about the product?
Complete AD is like a normal software. Really easy to setup things and integrate with Jumpcloud. MDM Solution is also amazing. Customer support is also great. We use jumpcloud very frequently
What do you dislike about the product?
On-prem connector is needed so that we can be compliant with local regulatory authorities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jumpcloud has really made our life easy and hassle free. We can integrate the solution with any other applications so easily.
Streamlined Device Management, Needs Patch Management Refinement
What do you like best about the product?
I like that JumpCloud has been improving their services very quickly over the past year or two that I've been using them. They've added a ton more features, such as shadow IT detection and outside jump call asset management. They've also improved their API significantly with the version two launch and system insight, which has helped us make a lot of automations. These improvements have reduced our workload and the workload of everyone else on the team.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've noticed some issues with patch management. We still have some devices that are on pretty old versions of software, and I don't understand how they're still there when JumpCloud should be enforcing patching.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use JumpCloud to ensure devices are healthy, enforce security policies, streamline onboarding and offboarding, maintain password complexity, and sync profiles. It also prevents device misuse and ensures devices are patched properly.
Versatile Multi-OS Management with JumpCloud
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can provide users their choice of OS and still have control. JumpCloud added software deployment, and it works well, even though it currently has only a few apps.

They added software deployment, it works well but has only few apps, hope it will grow more.

I use JumpCloud to manage user accounts and bind them across multiple OS systems, providing users their choice of OS while maintaining control. It solves managing multiple OS at once.

Integration Challenges: While it supports many integrations, there might be some that aren’t as seamless or fully featured as you’d like, particularly if you’re using more niche or specialized applications.

It combines directory services with a range of IT management capabilities, including Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and device management. JumpCloud works across different operating systems, including Windows, macOS, and Linux, and integrates with various cloud services. With features like secure VPN access and device management, JumpCloud helps ensure that remote employees have secure and reliable access to corporate resources.
Very good alternative to AD

The ease of use to on board and off board users.

Once setup, to decouple it from my environment takes a little effort.

It makes on-boarding and off boarding user very easy.

What do you dislike about the product?
The JumpCloud Protect app could definitely benefit from some user interface improvements. It's frustrating when basic actions like deleting a saved MFA aren't intuitive. A more user-friendly design would significantly enhance the overall experience.

Enroll computers without having to use a traditional AD service

Their Hard drive security bit locker and remote desktop

The agent automatically becomes inactive then we need to install this agent again.

JumpCloud Remote Assist solving our remote worker device access issue and its benefiting our team time saving and excellent service.
Excellent but pricey

It just works; in 5 years I've seldom had any issues with it

It is overpriced and hard to adjust user counts if a customer shrinks

Just too many functions that I end up exploring the tool over and over again. But still, this is a good review but needs to have deeper knowledge in jumpcloud.
