I really enjoy this IDM platform, but there are a few downtimes/issues which are crucial.

What do you like best about the product?
Jumpcloud is very intuitive to work with, easy to understand and learn quickly - simplified but sophisticated at the same time. It has a lot of cool features that are easy to implement and use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Many disruptions occur randomly - incorrect user lockouts (when a user doesn't try to log in or anything of the sort), maintenance disruptions during the day. These affect our work directly and cause a lot of inconveniences.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Jumpcloud, I can manage user login and access to accounts. Moreover, I can also control devices and deployment of various OS-type installations and enrollment of security policies. This allows for a smooth experience on the user's end and a very easy to manage experience on the Administrator end.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The product is excellent and has potential, but the support it has in case of any issues is lacking.

Great solution and alternative for Single Sign On and MDM

  • December 14, 2021
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Jumpcloud is a powerful solution with a lot of options including SAML integration and also MDM, depending the license and capabilities, you've a unified solution platform to solve many requirements.
What do you dislike about the product?
I consider required the enhancement of some user experience things in order to help the users to understand the usage and features. Is optional the provisioning of new users and offboarding process with a kind of optimizations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Jumpcloud as our main MDM and identity platform, it helps to maintain the users working without require more than a unique password and preventing additional steps to work in their daily basis.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a real good and practical solution to Startups...

Serverless Active Directory Solution

  • December 14, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Firstly it doesn't need a physical or cloud server running by us. It is completely working on Jumpcloud's cloud server, and we are not required to manage them. It works the same as Microsoft Active Directory, and user management is simple and easy to use. It supports many SSO and SCIM features if you need SSO solutions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes admin panel is not responding but not very long time and working a little bit slow. The prices are high, too.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our environment uses Jumpcloud as active directory and user management. Also, we are using it as Single Sign-On solution.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you need an active directory solution without server management, you should use it without hesitation.

What do you like best about the product?
Very simple to use in comparison to classic solutions.
What do you dislike about the product?
MDM is limited to MacOS devices, still waiting for iOS and Android MDM.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Central management of user and SSO with most of our applications, thanks for multiple standard support (LDAP, Saml).
Central management of devices.

Good MDM

  • December 14, 2021
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like having user sso accounts tied to the MDM, and for the most part, it functions as it should. I have used multiple MDM solutions such as jamf, apple MDM, kandji, and air watch.
What do you dislike about the product?
That they still don't have full IOS support for apps.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SSO and MDM combined, so it's easy to manage users on the devices and track where the machines are. I also like the zero-touch features; I have used them a good bit.

JumpCloud review

  • December 14, 2021
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to manage users and devices with a cloud-hosted platform so I do not have to manage an Active Directory server.
What do you dislike about the product?
It has some bugs such as when devices do not go online for an extended period of time the JumpCloud service no longer checks in for updates, I have to reinstall the service. Also recently the service seems to be down more than usual.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before JumpCloud all of our users had local user profiles on devices and if a user left the company, we did not have a password for the user and could not log in as them to get any data off the device. Now we have a solid process for offboarding users and having full access to devices.

The New IT infrastructure Tool

  • December 14, 2021
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Jumpcloud has done a great job at creating an easy-to-manage environment while taking control of your users and fleet.
What do you dislike about the product?
They are still developing their company and are running into some growth problems resulting in the server being unstable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Not having to go with a highly complex resource for a small company has been hugely benificial.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Jumpcloud is still creating a stable environment. For a small business, it will do well. Large organizations might want to hold off until they get more traction.
