Solid SSO Platform for mid-sized companies
What do you like best about the product?
JumpCloud is great in that it works well for the company that I work for. We utilize it for service partners as well as our own internal directory. Jumpcloud is great at handling and placing multiple applications into one easy to use interface! I use it on a daily basis and it was easy to get used to from the get to. I would highly recommend it to others.
What do you dislike about the product?
Being a web app, there are certain limitations to usage and access, however, whenever there has been a minor issue, I have been able to work with our internal IT to mitigate the issue(s).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jumpcloud solves IAM, cloud directory services, password policy enforcement, remote support, SSO, and provisioning all in one app. It benefits me from having to work with multiple people or interfaces. I can handle most, if not all things in the same interface which is great.
very good

What do you dislike about the product?
re-installing JC agent on windows 10.

Junpcloud Is wonderful for our day to day tasks
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful thing about Jumpcloud is it's capacity of management and easy UI for the workflow
What do you dislike about the product?
Well, for now I don't have any dislikes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Junpcloud resolved our problem with remote support and security control in our devices
Excellent tool
What do you like best about the product?
Jumpcloud is not only reliable, intuitive and easy to use, but their support team is responsive and able to get your questions answered quickly. I have no complaints at all.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, after about 4 years of using Jumpcloud, I don't have any negatives. It handles everything I need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using Jumpcloud for our Idnetity provider, vpn RADIUS server and MDM as well as SSO has made my life as the systems admin really easy. I can get most of my work done in one spot.
Much less hassle than Intune
What do you like best about the product?
Simplicity, installing is easy and intuitive. Far easier than Intune.
What do you dislike about the product?
2fa is disabled when someone is logged in, so if an admin is using a remote server or forgets to logout, other users connecting can bypass 2fa. I reported this years ago but it was dismissed as unimportant. Software management does not setup new devices, which seems niche. Could use a way to implement proper security baselines rather than just set a few basic settings.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Currently just using it for servers as Intune doesn't support them.
Great management platform for small business
What do you like best about the product?
Jumpcloud works well for businesses large and small. It integrates with Apple Business Manager for Mac office.
What do you dislike about the product?
You will definitely need an IT provider to implement jumpcloud.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy to use MDM at reasonable price.
Great endpoint management
What do you like best about the product?
JumpCloud is a great tool for managaming devices in a remote workforce. We're able to deploy changes required to secure both Windows and Mac OS devices easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
JumpCloud password manager is pretty good but missing a few convenience features like a simple password generator that is easily accessible and solid iOS support. Implementation was a bit tedious at first, but managing it going forward is great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mobile device management for both Windows and Mac OS
Simple and Pleasant
What do you like best about the product?
How simple the SSO configuration and user experiance is for it on Mac. Helpful tools like the JumpCloud ADMU make real-world scenarios like moving from domain-based Windows machines to the cloud very possible for the average IT admin. The MDM features for Mac are simple and elegant. Appreciate recently added feature of custom configuration profiles via upload.
What do you dislike about the product?
Device Grouping - no custom criteria for Dynamic groups. (Extension Attributes in Jamf / Custom Facts in Addigy). The Dynamic Grouping feature is almost unusable as is with so few criteria. Command Scripting - ability to see results of Command Scripting, and abilitty to resend command to the errored devices.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easily moving legacy-based clients from former IT contracts to the cloud
Smooth Roll-out
What do you like best about the product?
We've had a really smooth transition moving from on-prem AD to JumpCloud. We've been able to take-over AD accounts on Macs and PCs with JumpCloud seamlessly so the end user has been able to keep all their settings with minimum disruption.
Policies have replaced GPO nicely and inbuilt remote support tool and patchmanagement have been a big help all in one portal.
Policies have replaced GPO nicely and inbuilt remote support tool and patchmanagement have been a big help all in one portal.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd like more inbuilt reports rather than Powershell commands. It would be useful to have security reports such as are any of our devices unencrypted or missing anti-virus.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We wanted to move away from EOL on-prem AD/GPO server to a straight-forward, powerful, cloud option. JumpCloud also meant we could have all our remote support, MDM and patch management in one portal, rather than the several we had previously.
Centralized management all in one!
What do you like best about the product?
Jumpcloud is such a supremely streamlined identity provisioning and management platform it takes all the hard work out of employee and customer on-boarding and offboarding.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of printer provisioning features in the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Where to start. It cuts out a bunch of the excess SaaS apps that an environment might use in the day to day but still integrates with them.
