Great service that solves sync issues with other IDPs

What do you like best about the product?
It took very little effort to get going. We were up and running within a day, and have had no significant issues so far.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be great if we had the ability to set more controls around who can be granted access. An approval workflow or the ability to integrate with one would be great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're using JumpCloud to assign roles to users within our AWS organization. It's been very easy to facilitate this workflow with JumpCloud.

Perfect cloud-based solution to manage User authentication and authorization

What do you like best about the product?
The simplicity of the interface, combined with the easiness of integration, makes JumpCloud an essential tool to manage user authentication and authorization for our customer portal.
We integrated it with an Nginx reverse proxy, using the LDAP endpoint, to access private binaries.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing, the solution perfectly fits our use case.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We didn't want to implement our custom solution to manage User authentication and authorization.
Password policies, self-service password resets, and profile management are the right tools to provide a good UX to our customers.

Nothing in particular to dislike, but definitely areas where there is room for further improvement

Ease of directory management for the organization without complex steps or unnecessary paperwork

What do you like best about the product?
It's so easy to manage all the users and teams on the platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
At this moment, everything goes on very good with JumpCloud; it was an excellent decision to choose JC for our company administration.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have better control over the equipment and users in the company than before we have not.

Slow support. 7 months to resolve an issue and they're not bothered

What do you like best about the product?
Simple MDM. Not much else is that good so I wouldn't say much is best.
What do you dislike about the product?
Support is terrible. 8 months to resolve an issue. Often one or two week replies even when I have been put onto someone senior. Asked for compensation - they stated leave and go elsewhere. Not exactly making you feel a valued customer. I'd avoid and go with the other options available.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Active Directory for Macs
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I'd use a different option with a company that values it's customers.

What do you like best about the product?
We use jumpcloud to enroll our laptops- That works really well and we rarely have issues. It is very convinent that it notifies us when a user locks their account out via email.
What do you dislike about the product?
Does Jumpcloud have an SSO bridge so we can point elasticsearch to jumpcloud? We want to use Jumpcloud as our main identity provider but just seems like a lot is lacking.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving problems with identity management and user enrollment. Benefits we have realized are great integration and provisioning wiht Google

A very powerful tool for small to medium size companies

What do you like best about the product?
Identity Management has been a lifesaver for us. Before we used JumpCloud, we did not have a way to manage our employee's logins to their laptops.
What do you dislike about the product?
The power of their solution is drastically minimized if you're not using Windows Pro. Many of their tools simply won't work on Windows Home Edition. Some of that is not their fault due to the limitations that Microsoft put into place in their OS.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Identity Management
Screen Lock
Remote device wipe
Encryption Key tracker
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Just be aware that most of the policies that can be used in Jumpcloud for Windows machines will only work on Windows Pro licensed computers. Some policies will work, but most do not on Windows Home Edition. This is not a limitation on JumpCloud's side, but more on the Microsoft operating system side.

Ease of setup and rollout across the company and ability to use on both Mac and PC
What do you dislike about the product?
Wish pricing wasn't per device but rather tiered so that the cost didn't very with each new employee
