It is an excellent solution for managing user identities and access across several devices and applications.
Its user-friendly design and ability to easily connect with many platforms make it a powerful tool for IT teams, particularly in contexts where numerous operating systems are used.
JumpCloud's robust user management and security capabilities, such as Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and device management, is the best for improving overall organisational security.

What do you like best about the product?
JumpCloud has great functionality and features that IT teams actually need. It helps simplify and manage our tech stack. It was very easy to implement and use (unlike less modern solutions like our on prem active directory)
What do you dislike about the product?
JumpCloud itself is really great. We also use their password manager (Jumpcloud PWM) and I must say that part seems not fully built out/optimized yet. It works, but it is a bit clunky and we've had some issues with it. Products like BitWarden are more built out and work better IMO. But this is a very small part of JumpCloud for us, the rest has been great!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A cloud based modern AD that doesn't rely on on-prem connections. It works regardless of where the devices are located.

What do you dislike about the product?
Inorder to change the password user has to login to the jump cloud platform. There is no reverse sync from Microsoft cloud to Jump cloud.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Users can now use their Microsoft email credentials to log in to wifi instead of separate wifi credentials.

Easy to use, easy to deploy, flexible security rules across platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are inherent complexities in managing a fleet of devices, but their help center is quite proficient.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Security and compliance. Solves our SOC II and HIPAA compliance requirements, and strengthens our general security posture.

Password feature.
All passwords are saved securely and usage of multiple sites with different credentials an dmanaged and taken care by Jumpcloud without any issue.

What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing that I ahve come across till now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I do not need to save a file filled with credentials as my role requires me to have access to multiple platforms and all equally being confidential.
With the use of JumpCloud I can rest assure I can login to all the sites without hazzle.

It was quick to set up and very few issues getting devices managed.

The chat support was very quick when needed.

The pricing is not clear enough without getting a formal quote.

Consolidated IT stack while simplifying management
What do you like best about the product?
Set up and implementation is intuitive and well documented. Their customer support has been top notch so far. We've been able to consolidate three different products into one with JumpCloud which helps with configuration updates and overall management.
What do you dislike about the product?
MacOS MDM is sufficient but not as comprehensive as Jamf.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were previously relying on three different platforms for cloud directory, IAM and MDM. JumpCloud has allowed us to accomplish the same (or better) management under a single platform which frees up time for IT to work on more important projects.

I really like the different products and the integration between them, like LDAP, Radius, OpenID, ...
But also device management with MDM and policies.
