Good for small businesses
What do you like best about the product?
à la carte features are good for small businesses.
What do you dislike about the product?
Features and reporting options are not as scalable outside of the API.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can generate system insights using JumpCloud, which feeds into our Asset lists.

JumpCloud - an all in one solution to control your work place devices
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to control all devices and connect to modern user governance and management tools. One place to rule them all. More than once, JumpCloud saved me from formatting a team member's computer because the team member forgot his password and was locked out of his machine. We have a lot of Macs in the company, and it is one of the best solutions for Macs, and of course, it works as perfectly for Windows machines.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would love to have a quicker support for updated OS versions
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
a Domain like controlling employees' devices - multiple devices like Macs, Windows PCs, Mobile devices, etc. We use GSuite Business, and we don't have a domain controller and active directory, so we use JumpCloud to facilitate this functionality
Very cool service. Surprised I had never heard of them before.
What do you like best about the product?
It's kind of out of the way, which as a user who did not opt for MADM makes me happy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think mostly the parts I don't like are controlled from within our org, so not JumpCloud fault. Sometimes links will appear in dashboard for things which I don't have access to, or it will take local a while to catch up to remote state.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Centralised control as far as I can tell. My employer has over 100 employees and at that scale, it gets harder to service-desk individual setups

What do you like best about the product?
I daily work with jumpCloud SSO for secure access of AWS and other looks
I like SSO, RunCommand, PolicyManagement, MDM, DeviceGroup, and UserGroup help me to manage Users on VM

What do you dislike about the product?
I could see windows support is less and also if we add an option to RunCommand to send it output on email notification once after job complete or slack integration

User Management, Basically used for RBAC on VM, Application and to maintain Audit. We also use it sso to multiple other apps like Aws,elastic.co

If you have remote work culture in your Orgnization you should definitely try this
Excellent Cross Platform Cloud based Directory Platform
What do you like best about the product?
The support for macOS and Linux devices with Policies, Software Management and Insights without expensive on-prem macOS server.
What do you dislike about the product?
Unable to remotely initiate major macOS version upgrades (such as Catalina to Big Sur). Such upgrade has to be started on the device which makes compliant and deployment for remote devices more troublesome logistically.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to manage business-owned devices in different platforms (Windows, macOS, Linux) anywhere without on-prem infrastructure. Our business manages a fleet of Windows and macOS devices in multiple countries.
In 2020 as the world moving from office to remote working, the fact that we were already using JumpCloud had made the logistics of transitioning our workforce to remote working so much easier (effectively no extra effort required).
JumpCloud also allows us to ensure enterprise level policy compliance on business-owned devices (especially on macOS) effortlessly.

Great platform with potential
What do you like best about the product?
RADIUS as a Service which we use with Meraki is great.
As well as LDAP as a Service which we use with Synology NAS. The Multi Tenant Portal is great as well for MSP's.

What do you dislike about the product?
User lifecycle management is not great or sometimes missing. Which means you often still need to delete users in the linked services. Also the fact that you still pay for suspended users is not great, Okta does that better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A very flexible identity management system, so we only have to manage user identity in a single place. All the systems are cloud based, which means we do not have to manage and secure on prem servers.

What do you like best about the product?
Directory as a service, software management, user self service portal
What do you dislike about the product?
Would need option to check the logs in Cloud directory,Ad integration on Jumpcloud Console.

Active directory replacement, Patch management,MDM, Zero trust

Jumpcloud have free 5 user forever. So you can easily test it out before getting it.

Integrates with our tools and allows us to enforce security requirements with little extra setup.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love to be able to automate the enforcement of SSH key rotation after a set period.

JumpCloud Hosted RADIUS actually works!
What do you like best about the product?
I really liked how speedy the hosted authorization servers were when our employees were logging into our network.
What do you dislike about the product?
We're a small business and it was hard for me to set up JumpCloud
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our business doesn't have any servers on-site so we needed a hosted database that we could securely authenticate our employees against

Set some time aside for setup, you'll need it.

The inability to share resources and the lack of a password management functionality.

We are centralizing all of the different LDAP/AD/Google Workspace solutions we previously had into one.
