The only all-in-one authorization and identity management solution!

  • June 10, 2021
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to have so many things under one roof: LDAP, MFA, system policies, audit logs, and so much more!
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of MDM for devices other than Mac (Android and iOS should be prioritized for MDM)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Finally, moving away from on-prem Active Directory and group policy has been on our to-do list for some time, and JumpCloud is making it possible to accomplish this! Securing admin access using MFA to systems is one of the best security features for us!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
JumpCloud offers a ton of consolidated features right out of the gate, but there is still work to be done. Most organizations should find what currently exists in the product extremely helpful and easy to set up and use from an admin and end-user perspective.

JumpCloud as directory

What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to control people and devices in just one console
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that the login page URL is not different for regular users and for administrator users. Because of that, the browser can no store two different passwords and apply them automatically when login with the different roles.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it mainly for SSO and controlling the computer of the employees.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is really nice to use and it has so many possibilities for management: users, computers, network infrastructure, SSO, LDAP, policies, password policies.

Mental peace and get rid of AD

  • May 11, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I dont have to worry about AD replication and management and threats exposed to AD when over internet, actually no one exposes AD to internet though they want it to. IAM is a huge problem and one have to deploy multiple tools, jumpcloud will give u one solution to multiple issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
Prices can pose an issue, otherwise I dont see an issue, supportive team to get software implemented.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I want to have trustful, non-compromisable, finely controlled security implementation without the need of VPN. Work from home is becoming a serious security threat at endpoints and with soo many hacks and data sold in darkweb you are always unsure how secure is ur identity.

Great User Support and Product

What do you like best about the product?
Very responsive user support. I got a response in minutes during their advertised work hours. The Radius Server Setup is easy to use and just works. The software design is exemplary and allowed me to make the changes I needed, especially managing my users. The documentation was very precise and helpful. I got all the information I needed. I also enjoyed the stories shared in the blog section. They offered good context of the potential available in jump cloud.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would hope that jump cloud could offer a means to allows the RADIUS server to be accessible from any IP. My current setup requires access from different sites where the public visible IP keeps changing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I needed a reliable RADIUS server to manage users on my WIFI network remotely.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Go ahead and use jump cloud to manage your users.

What do you like best about the product?
It is nice to have an AD solution without the overhead and cost of an actual AD server/service from Microsoft. The web interface is super intuitive, and making changes is super simple. It is also great that JumpCloud is constantly adding new features and functionality to its product.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are more features than I need, so it would be nice to pay less for less functionality.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With JumpCloud we can manage all our workstations from one pain of glass without the overhead of an onsite server. Before we implemented JumpCloud our IT team had to interact with each workstation individually. Now we can push changes to a group or all workstations at the same time.

What do you like best about the product?
- Active development: Jumpcloud is continuously rolling out several new useful features.
- Easy to use: The admin interface is very user-friendly, and even non-technical admins can navigate and use it easily.
- Scalable Pricing: The ability to select and pay only for the features you need is excellent.
- Free use Tier : They offer 10 free users, which is great to introduce the solution in your company without commitment, and roll out the solution completely after testing it.
What do you dislike about the product?
- MDM functionality is still lacking, but development is happening at a fast pace and they should catch up to competition very soon.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to use centralized identity management for all devices, apps, and company resources from a single solution makes life a whole lot easier, especially if there is no dedicated IT staff in the company.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This solution is quickly becoming a must in the remote-first world, start using
