Our network sprawl settled into an orderly calm with JumpCloud's oversight

What do you like best about the product?
The accuracy we obtain by specifying particular scripts to operate on selected users or bundles of devices is invaluably useful to our development cycles. It implies that we could have customized instrument updates or security patches push out only to where they are necessary with little or no collateral effect. The in-depth audit logs concerning user logins and device health are surprisngly intelligent, either. This provides a clean historical illustration that is excellent to use in a compliance check or to trace down a thorny access problem.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do wish that searching in the search bar in the JumpCloud admin console was a bit more flavorful; searching out an ultra specific policy in a grid of many generated policies can be a bit of a chore when you have a great many polices created. The generation of contextualized reports that cannot be done by the provided standard templates is less intuitive than it should and frequently results in us exporting data in order to analyse it elsewhere. And minor inconstancies in naming conventions in some of the settings tabs that can lead to minor confusion to a new member learning the system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used to have the biggest headache in making sure that all the developers had exactly the right access and environmental configuration to new projects dedicated test servers and internal proprietary tools. We were in the manual configuration/rendering permission to crank lot of time. Completely transforming how we manage these custom project environments was through JumpCloud. This ability, now, to define very highly specific user groups and can afford to load policies that will provide access to specific internal IPs or application endpoints directly, to circumvent the works on my machine excuses and get new project teams up and productive nearly immediately now knowing that they have special access pre-configured and pre-validated.

JumpCloud simplifies managing logins and security, making it straightforward and dependable.

What do you like best about the product?
The best thing I find in JumpCloud is how it creates a single secure login that combines everything. I’m not required any more to juggle dozens of bookmarks and remember 20 different passwords. Just one passphrase I use to get into all my apps. And multiple factors, password rotation, and role mapping don’t make me think twice about the security of the access but without being overly complicated.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes outages are just annoying since they bring my entire workflow to a standstill. Last month, for example, an all-day downtime caused real disruption across business apps. The support can sometimes be slower than I would like, especially in comparison to some of the bigger players in the IAM space. The mobile MFA app can also just feel a bit buggy at times, which makes me really nervous since it's so central to my login process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud has freed me from password fatigue, enhancing both my productivity and my security and certainly by not worrying about shadow IT or poor password practices, I confidently can give my team a single platform that spans desktops, VPNs, and cloud apps. It’s gotten us to our SSO and IAM goals without a cobbled-together set of tools.

What do you like best about the product?
Jumpcloud is an extra ordinary solution for every organization. It simplifies the entire IT process of managing devices, users and security at a single place with simplified process. We are easily able to maintain devices anytime and from anywhere. Setting rules and deploying policy is much easier and allows us to enforce certain security rules for certain users or devices quickly and efficiently.
What do you dislike about the product?
Jumpcloud offers a lot of features and is a vast solution, so for the beginner there is a learning curve. Also, we encounters an issue once when we deployed a policy and it took very long time to get applied.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jumpcloud eliminates the need of multiple tools to manage everything separately. With Jumpcloud we are able to manage users, devices and security easily and efficiently. We are easily able to enforce policies, manage security and users. When we need to create a new employee, we are easily able to select what access and apps they need.

What do you like best about the product?
I like it because it makes it easier to manage identities and access in a diverse manufacturing facility. I love managing the office and plant computers and controlling everything from one place, and its truly amazing because it greatly simplifies my work.
What do you dislike about the product?
My disappointment at the moment is that integration with some software solutions could be tricky.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Everything is going well because we benefit from reducing administrative time and improving security. From intellectual property to product control systems. Everything is now well managed and identity-based, and we implement consistent security policies across the company, in short, were doing a great job.

What do you like best about the product?
The most and best align in the jump cloud is its friendly based use and all the services are very fast. User Lifecycle Management :-Automates onboarding/offboarding via integrations with HR systems like Workday and all the options are very useful.
Remote workforce management :- very useful and easy we recommend to use this services for future use and help other as well.

System Insights: Provides hardware/software inventory and security posture data , user profile -laptop logs every thing will be capture here.
this is just awesome services we are using and providing to end users.
What do you dislike about the product?
we have not added anything yet to share , will keep working on this and keep you posted.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Please see my review below ---
Manual User Provisioning/Deprovisioning
Problem: Onboarding and offboarding users manually is time-consuming and error-prone.
Solution: JumpCloud automates user lifecycle management, syncing with HR systems and cloud apps to streamline access control, user cant do anything without our permission and privileges
Problem: IT lacks visibility into user activity, device health, and access patterns, making compliance difficult. we can always restrict based on approval and permission.
Flexibility: Works across cloud, on-prem, and hybrid environments this is the way we used and we are very much thanks for service provider on this.

A Unified platform for secure IT Operation.

  • August 24, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The best about Jump Cloud is the ability to centralize identity and access management across multiple platforms. It works smoothly with Windows, MacOS and Linux and works best with SSO, MFA and other tools like Google workspace and Microsoft 365 as well. It has easy onboarding for new employees with automated user and device setup which also enhances the security.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is a powerful platform however there are some areas where it can be improved. The analytics and reporting can be more advanced and specially for the organizations that need detailed audit reports. There are also delays in synchronizing changes across integrated services which makes it minor inconvenience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps in unifying identity, access and device management on a single platform and eliminating the complexity of managing multiple disconnected tools. The built-in SSO, MFA and password policies enhances the security ensuring smooth user experience. It also helps in enhanced onboarding and offboarding by reducing manual IT tasks which saves times. The onboarding and offboarding is much faster in this platform and easy to track as well and working with different operation system makes it more manageable for all devices the same way and reduces time again.

JumpCloud is generally well-regarded for cloud directory services, identity and access management.

  • August 22, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It gives a single platform for identity, access, and device management, so I don’t have to juggle multiple tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some advanced features (like deeper device compliance reporting, patch management, or automation) aren’t as mature compared to larger players like Intune or Okta.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Identity & Access Management → Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and centralized user provisioning.
