Does most of the things fairly well, but still has some work to do
What do you like best about the product?
MDM capabilities are good and allow you to do most if not all the things you need, and the SSO integrations work as you'd expect them to
In every quarterly event it really does seem like they move in the right direction and implement new things

What do you like best about the product?
It was a modernized replacement for ADFS. Centralizes user management, logins and work flows. It streamlined what would take much longer to configure on Mircrosofts old platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
We are a local goverment entity. We really thought Jump Cloud was a great product but were able to get better pricing from a competitor through state term pricing

JumpCloud really helps admins manage the whole IT lifecycle. From user provisioning, machine management, policy enforcement, remote command execution, and inventory JumpCloud has been invaluable for our IT teams.

Generally, JumpCloud shines in every aspect. As we have looked into the enforcement of system updates and patches it's become evident it was not built with this in mind.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud helped us solve our directory services problems. We needed to mature in our machine management and general HR process for provisioning and policy enforcement. JumpCloud helps us win in these areas.

The ability to manage all devices, employees and create a portal allowing users to access their everyday used links makes it smoother to assist hundreds of employees at once.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not necessarily dislike, but could use some more updates on policy management. The platform tailors more towards windows and macs, but lack some more MDM functionalities and features. In order to have an all in one platform that IT teams could benefit from, enhancing the MDM capabilities will draw a lot more clients into Jumpcloud.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jumpcloud is allowing us to track down devices and its users as it is our Active Directory and primary MDM solution for PC/Laptops.
A Journey from Skepticism to Admiration: The Magic of JumpCloud
What do you like best about the product?
Versatility That Defies Expectations:
JumpCloud's spectrum of features had my jaw hitting the floor. Their cloud directory platform is not just about managing user accounts and resources; it’s an all-in-one dashboard that has you covered whether you are dealing with Linux, Windows, or Mac systems. The way JumpCloud effortlessly integrates with a plethora of third-party applications, from Google Workspace to Office 365, is an IT administrator's dream.
Remote Work Made Easier:
In this new era of remote work, JumpCloud stands out as an indispensable tool. Its remote management of devices is a breeze. Employees can work from anywhere, and JumpCloud ensures that they have secure access to the resources they need. It’s as if JumpCloud had a crystal ball and knew that the future of work would be remote.
Security That Breeds Confidence:
One of my initial concerns was security. But, JumpCloud’s security protocols are top-notch. With features like Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and single sign-on, it's evident that JumpCloud has been developed with a security-first mindset. My data and resources are like Fort Knox with JumpCloud.
Customer Support & Continuous Improvement:
Their customer support is stellar. Any queries or issues I had were addressed promptly and effectively. What’s more, JumpCloud does not rest on its laurels. They are constantly evolving, and new features are added regularly, ensuring that they remain at the cutting edge of technology.

What do you dislike about the product?
I am not a fan of JumpCloud because I find it frustrating that I cannot create customizable alerts. It would be much more helpful if I could tailor my notifications to fit my specific needs and preferences. I have also had some trouble connecting to Jumpcloud Client. It seems like there might be some connectivity issues that I need support to resolve when it comes to Macs and adding new users. Its easy to fix but can be frustrating to continually deal with!>
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud was the perfect solution to our Active Directory problem. We were hesitant to invest in the Microsoft Active Directory suite with servers and subscriptions because we didn't feel like we were big enough to justify the expense, but it was clear that we needed some way to manage our directory. JumpCloud provided us with the tools we needed to manage our Active Directory without breaking the bank. Thanks to JumpCloud, we can now manage our directory with ease and without the worry of huge expenses.
Incredibly Easy!
What do you like best about the product?
Never using anything other than S**M and Int*ne, I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to navigate JumpCloud and how user-friendly it was. Everything was laid out well and it was nice not having a major learning curve right out of the gate. I also had some questions for Support, and they were very responsive and thorough, without being overbearing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the reporting functionality is not built-in like I was hoping it was. And some of the pre-built reports don't give the amount of detail I would like. There is the option for using the API, but that documentation could also be a little more user-friendly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being part of a small business, it has taken the major work out of standing up a huge infrastructure, which has allowed us to have more time to focus on business-critical initiatives.
