    Non-Profit Organization Management

A GREAT perhaps BETTER alternative to ADDC

  • November 07, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use JumpCloud to manage users, devices, SSO, and Radius, and a lot of its features. The SSO has solved a lot of headaches by making remembering multiple passwords obsolete; I only need to remember one. The JumpCloud password manager has been incredible. Managing device updates and functions is much easier with the ability to push out commands remotely, which is practically effortless. The Command Line/Powershell features have helped us out of rough situations. Being able to control what features are enabled via policies is awesome and something we use a lot. Policy management, the JumpCloud password manager, and the ability to push out commands and scripts are features I like most. The support is top tier and always helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly I don't have any issues with JumpCloud. Only one I would say is allow us to create folders in the "Commands" page to better organize things.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud simplifies our password management with SSO, streamlining devices and user management. Remote command execution is easy, resolving issues efficiently. Features like policy control and the password manager enhance our workflow, making remembering passwords obsolete and avoiding the need for an ADDC.

What do you like best about the product?
JumpCloud streamlines my IT management duties with centralized user and device control. It simplifies access, enhances security, and supports multiple platforms, making our IT infrastructure more efficient and secure. Support is great.
What do you dislike about the product?
JumpCloud's pricing can be a drawback for smaller organizations, as it may be on the higher side for their budget. Additionally, the initial setup and integration process can be complex, requiring some technical expertise. While it offers robust security features, this can also lead to some user friction due to multiple authentication steps, potentially impacting user experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As an IT manager using JumpCloud for the past five years, I can attest to the numerous problems it has effectively solved. JumpCloud's centralized user and device management have greatly simplified onboarding and offboarding processes, reducing the risk of unauthorized access and enhancing overall security. The single sign-on (SSO) feature has improved user experience by reducing password-related issues and enhancing productivity.

JumpCloud's support for multiple platforms and cross-device compatibility has been a significant benefit in our increasingly diverse IT environment, especially with remote work and BYOD policies. The security features, such as multi-factor authentication and identity management, have been instrumental in safeguarding our organization's sensitive data from potential threats. Overall, JumpCloud has consistently proven to be a valuable solution in enhancing efficiency, security, and user satisfaction within our IT operations.

Best MDM platform till date.

What do you like best about the product?
Very easily manovourable and easy to navigate around. Everything is well defined and understandable. So many fetures to learn and implemant to the end-user. This helps the IT to be more productive and ease of life.

Whatever we push over to the end-user gets pushed really fast and makes the life of the engineer easier and fast. Hence, the implementation is easy.

The features are vast and have a lots of things that can be implemented. SSO and MDM with password management are the top fetures which I like personally. Even the integration of these features are very easy. Commands can be pushed so easily and reflects to the end-user very fast.

whenever we are stuck in something the Jumpcloud team always helps on TAT and resolve the issue at the earliest.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not found anything that can be pointed as bad for now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In the age of Remote working from their respective home. Jumpcloud is helping us connecting with the users remotely or pushing stuff very easily without bother either of the party.

What do you like best about the product?
The platform is extremely simple to setup and administer. We are using the product as an addon to a SAAS product we host for our customers. I can onboard a new customer in less than 15 minutes. Continued maintnenace and support has been a breeze. Zero customer authentication issues have been reported since we began using JumpCloud.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not any dislikes from me. I am using the platform in a limited capacity, however.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The SAAS product I support is a legacy desktop application that requires either Citrix or Remote Desktop Services. Citrix does offer some SAML/SSO capabilites, with huge complexity. Remote Desktop Services does not natively support SAML/SSO. JumpCloud is providing me with a bridge that is almost SSO and allows end users to fully manage their accounts.
