Intuitive, Easy Setup with Fair, Scalable Pricing

  • March 09, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The intuitive interface and straightforward implementation. Unlike other complex enterprise solutions, JumpCloud is easy to set up and manage. Additionally, the pricing model is very fair, allowing us to scale our seat count as the company grows without any budget surprises.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing structure has become a bit more complex over the years. For very small startups or teams that only need one specific feature (like just RADIUS or just SSO), the bundled pricing tiers can feel a bit expensive compared to single-point solutions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I think, JumpCloud is solving the problem of fragmented IT management. Before, we had separate tools for SSO, MDM, and RADIUS, which was a nightmare for visibility. By consolidating these into one platform, it has significantly reduced our technical debt and licensing costs. The benefit for me is a 'single pane of glass' where I can manage everything from a user’s laptop to their cloud app access in one place.

Effortless User Management with Simple Setup

  • March 06, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I find JumpCloud really easy to use, especially when it comes to the UI, which makes user management very straightforward. The installation process is also a highlight for me since it's well-documented and allows for automated installation to be done effortlessly. The overall UI experience enhances using it for centralized LDAP and server management, and managing SSH keys across the enterprise feels seamless.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's a little confusing being both an admin and a user and having to switch between portals.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use JumpCloud for centralized LDAP and server management. It solves managing SSH keys for multiple users across the enterprise. The UI makes user management easy, and installation is well-documented, facilitating automated installs.

JumpCloud Centralizes Access with Seamless SSO Across Mac and Linux

  • March 06, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
As an Operations Manager, what I appreciate most is how JumpCloud drastically simplifies our employee onboarding and offboarding. Having a single pane of glass to manage identity, SSO access to our entire SaaS stack, and basic device management across a remote team saves us countless hours. It completely eliminates the need for legacy on-prem Active Directory and makes cross-department provisioning seamless
What do you dislike about the product?
The reporting and auditing logs could be more robust. When we go through compliance audits, pulling highly specific historical access logs can sometimes be more tedious than it needs to be. Additionally, the Mobile Device Management (MDM) features, while great for the basics, sometimes lack the deep, granular controls of a dedicated, standalone MDM platform when managing a complex fleet of hardware
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud solves the operational nightmare of managing access and devices for a globally distributed workforce. It allows us to seamlessly provision new hires with immediate, secure access to all their necessary tools on day one. This benefits us by significantly reducing IT overhead and ensuring strict security and compliance standards are enforced consistently across the company.

Effortless Device Management with JumpCloud

  • March 05, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate JumpCloud for its ease of UI; everything is pretty straightforward, and I don't typically feel the need to reach out to support for simple tasks, unlike with other similar products. I also value the speed of JumpCloud; it pushes out new configurations way faster than its competitors. What would usually take 20-30 minutes elsewhere only takes 1-10 minutes with JumpCloud. The initial setup was very easy, and it's often one of the first things we teach new technicians due to its ease of entry.
What do you dislike about the product?
The QR codes can sometimes be very difficult to scan. I would say that's the roughest part of the process any time I need to add a new device.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud provides unique solutions for device policies, restrictions, and app control. Its UI is straightforward, reducing the need for support. It also pushes configurations faster than competitors, saving time.

Good experience with JC

  • March 05, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The “best” thing about JumpCloud, in my view, is that it works as a unified, all-in-one IT management platform, bringing identity, access, and device management together in a single interface. This kind of consolidation can replace 6 to 8 separate IT tools, which helps lower total cost of ownership and makes day-to-day workflows simpler for IT teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
Depth vs. breadth: JumpCloud covers a lot of ground (MDM, SSO, IAM, PAM), but it can fall short on the specialized depth you get from dedicated “best-of-breed” tools. For instance, its macOS management doesn’t feel as granular as more specialized options like Jamf, and its Windows management can sometimes miss some of the advanced configuration capabilities you’d find in Microsoft Intune.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
End user device control

Streamlined IT Management with Initial Setup Hurdles

  • March 05, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use JumpCloud as an MDM for my nonprofit organization, and it definitely streamlines the deployment of technology, apps, and people management for IT tasks, making my workflow much more efficient. I think the ease of access once everything is set up is fairly straightforward and easy to use. The UI is really great and not convoluted to use. The Password Manager is a great addition. I value the MDM features for device enrollment, deployment, and management.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's pretty difficult to get everything all set up unless you speak IT. For smaller organizations there's a lot of terminology and cumbersome process to do. It was a bit difficult, but nothing terrifying. It did take some support hours with Professional Services to get it to where it needed to be.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud streamlines technology deployment, app management, and people management, making my workflow more efficient.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Supports a wide range of platforms so it is suitable for managing all of our computer equipment.
What do you dislike about the product?
Have had an isolated case where the user was unable to get their previously working authentication details synchronised across machines. This was resolved after the user regenerated their keys.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing multiple computer systems and user access.

Facilitates Remote IT Management Efficiently

  • March 05, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I find the ease of onboarding for new devices with JumpCloud to be surprising and seamless, integrating smoothly into our IT runbook for company-owned devices. JumpCloud offers a trustworthy tool for our IT team, allowing us to view and manage company inventory efficiently. I also value the ability to set device policies remotely and troubleshoot device issues with the remote assist feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the JumpCloud agent setup for macOS is okay but we had to roll back our devices using macOS Tahoe in order to install the agent due to an issue with granting Full Disk Access during install. This issue affected our workflow by lengthening the amount of time it took IT to manually set up JumpCloud on new macOS devices that ship from the factory with Tahoe 26.2 installed. Very easy aside from some manual workarounds setting up JumpCloud for macOS devices that were running Tahoe 26.2.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud helps our IT team troubleshoot devices for remote workers and allows smooth onboarding and tracking of company-owned devices. It enables device policy setting and remote assistance, crucial for a remote workforce.

JumpCloud Simplifies Identity & Device Management Across Windows, macOS, and Linux

  • March 05, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
JumpCloud does a solid job of combining identity, device management, and access control into one cloud-based platform. It’s particularly helpful for organizations that don’t want to maintain a traditional on-prem Active Directory but still need centralized user and device administration. The cross-platform support for Windows, macOS, and Linux is a major advantage, and being able to manage policies, SSO, and MFA in one place makes day-to-day administration much simpler. I also appreciate that it integrates with many SaaS applications and can scale fairly easily for distributed or remote teams. Overall, it helps reduce the need to rely on multiple separate tools for identity and device management.
What do you dislike about the product?
JumpCloud is a powerful platform, but some areas can feel a bit complex when you’re first getting started, especially around configuring policies, device management, and integrations. Troubleshooting can also take longer than expected at times, since certain settings and logs are spread across different parts of the console rather than being easy to find in one place. The documentation is generally helpful, but I sometimes have to dig to locate very specific configuration details. Pricing can become a consideration as you add more features or users, and it may be a bigger factor for smaller organizations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud centralizes identity and device management in a cloud-based platform, which is helpful for organizations that prefer not to depend on traditional on-premises directory infrastructure. It lets us manage users, enforce device policies, and control access to systems and SaaS applications from a single interface. That, in turn, strengthens security with features like MFA and conditional access, while also making user lifecycle management easier and more consistent. It’s especially useful for teams with remote or distributed employees, since access and device management can be handled without requiring users to be connected to the corporate network.

Effortless Setup, But SaaS Management Needs Work

  • March 05, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that JumpCloud solves a lot of problems and pain points we faced with our previous active directory services from the cloud. It offers an easier learning curve and is more user-friendly, which makes the platform easy to understand and use. The user interface through the client application is good and it connects directly to the OS, which I think is better. The setup was quite easy, hassle-free, and we even received some onboarding support at the start to help with the setup.
What do you dislike about the product?
I didn't like the user interface. Also, I could say that your SaaS management is not that good. JumpCloud can only scan the tools which are connected via Microsoft, and we are not able to get all the tools in our organization to perform SaaS management. That is one place where I want JumpCloud to work on.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud makes it easier with its user-friendly platform. It simplifies identity management, SaaS management, SSOs, and MFAs, offering a reliable tool for directory services. The user interface connects directly to the OS, resolving pain points faced with other cloud directory services.
