Simplified Device Management with JumpCloud

  • May 14, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like using JumpCloud for its simplicity in account management compared to other MDM solutions I've used. The admin side is organized sensibly and isn't bogged down by complexity. It's really easy to create new user accounts and grant necessary permissions. The interface is extremely simple to understand, making training new hires a breeze. I also appreciate how it helps keep our computers managed, secures our data, and provides remote support options and insight into computer details when needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to see a little more support and documentation easily available for deploying JumpCloud to new devices.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use JumpCloud for managing devices across different platforms, securing data, offering remote support, and gaining insights into computers.

Intuitive, Cost-Effective Alternative to Active Directory with Helpful Support

  • May 14, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
the product is intuitive and easy to use. It's cheaper than using Active Directory, but offers similar capabilities. support is responsive and helpful. The remote connect feature is very helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Integration isn't as smooth as Active Directory. the provisioning package installation has some limitations, and sometimes the remote connect doesn't work properly. implementing group policy is also more challenging than with Active Directory. Configuring "domain" user accounts on the workstation is also more challenging
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a user and device management tool it meets our needs at a cheaper cost than Active Directory.

Sleek Admin Dashboard and Solid Access Control, but a Buggy Password Manager

  • May 14, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Jumpcloud is really great to consolidate identity providers and manage user access at an administrator level. The design of the admin dashboard is sleek and simple to use. The more complex aspects of the product are often the downfall. The password manager is clunky and poorly built. It is riddled with bugs and doesn't work nearly as smoothly as Dashlane. The AI functionality they offer just feels like bloat and there is no nice way to get them to stop pushing it in your face. The price is reasonable for this kind of a platform and there is support for lots of external connectors. The account management team is great and really responsive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Jumpcloud Password Manager is really terribly built. It stands no chance against its competitors. It regularly fails for me, and produces annoying pop-ups about updating and logging in again even if I'm doing something else.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
User management for employees, and access management to other software providers. Jumpcloud groups are easy to assign and manage. We can even do it through terraform, which is a big plus.

Seamless and Intuitive Solution for Small Business Management

  • May 14, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love JumpCloud for its capabilities and functionality, along with the support team's super helpful nature. Their documentation is excellent, both on their site and across the web. The onboarding experience was great, with consistent feature updates making everything work smoothly. It's really a lifesaver for managing multiple devices like iPhones, iPads, and MacBooks. The thing I like the most is how simple and intuitive it is to use, with easy navigation and the ability to add devices effortlessly. JumpCloud's capability to deploy MDM profiles across different devices is well thought out. Their software catalog for pre-installing and keeping software updated is great, as is their policy management. The initial setup was straightforward with good YouTube tutorials. The overall user experience is very intuitive and simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are not many cons to the platform. If anything could be improved, I would say a more robust software catalog for deploying different software versus me having to package them myself would be the only thing I would add.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud helps us manage remote employees by deploying software and maintaining updates without giving full admin access. Its simple, intuitive interface and great policy management make it easy to add devices and manage profiles.

Remote Control and Device Insights Shine, Compliance Needs Work

  • May 14, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the device insights and remote control features of JumpCloud. The device insights are helpful for tracking device usage, ensuring compliance, and identifying when a device is not in use or out of order. Remote control is valuable for easy 1:1 debugging sessions, especially in IT support. The initial setup was fairly easy, especially with some support to guide us.
What do you dislike about the product?
The compliance tracking isn't fully supported properly with Vanta, and even though a device is compliant and has relevant policies, the JumpCloud agent couldn't report it correctly to Vanta, which results in automated tests to fail. A better Windows JumpCloud agent would be great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use JumpCloud for device compliance and tracking, providing insights to monitor usage and identify issues. Remote control aids easy 1:1 debugging for IT support.

Effortless Identity and Device Management

  • May 14, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I find JumpCloud great for managing user accounts, groups, and devices, especially for Active Directory services. It makes identity and device management easy for me. I really like the intuitive UI, where all options are laid out efficiently. It's easy to create user accounts and groups, and I love how smooth it is to make and push policies to devices. It even lets me know instantly if there's an issue with the policy. The device management page summary is a big help, as I can quickly see the status of policy issuance. The MFA configurations and conditional access policy processes are as straightforward as they can be. Also, I really liked the seasonal themes introduced and wish they could be updated quarterly, allowing admins like me to set them.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really liked the season themes that you guys introduced. I wish if you can make this a quarterly thing where a new theme is introduced and we as admins can set it on our end.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud makes identity and device management easy with an intuitive UI. Creating user accounts, groups, and policies is smooth, and issues are reported instantly. It simplifies MFA configurations and conditional access, enhancing efficiency.

Reliable Device Management and Support That Saves Hours

  • May 13, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Their reliability, support and device management solution has saved us many hours in onboarding and support.
What do you dislike about the product?
Our users not understanding the purpose for this additional product. Outside of IT it is hard for end users to understand the need to constantly update their password on this system. This is not JumpCloud's issue, but more on the every day user to understand the need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Time-saved by device and software onboarding. Peace of mind by not worrying about everything separately. Also helps with security gaps and compliance scrambles keeping all devices updated.
