Time-Saving Solution with Room for Endpoint Enhancements
What do you like best about the product?
I have been using JumpCloud for four and a half years, primarily for setting up users on machines and endpoint management. I find it easy to set up, as initially, we had some issues with clients not updating on machines, but those have been resolved. I appreciate how JumpCloud allows us to limit access to machines without being a part of the Azure directory, which saves us a significant amount of time. Among the most useful features and capabilities is its ability to limit what users can be installed on a machine. This functionality is crucial for us, and it's a primary reason why I would choose JumpCloud again. In terms of recommendation, I believe for an environment like ours, JumpCloud is an excellent fit, and I would rate it a solid nine out of ten.
What do you dislike about the product?
{"The JumpCloud endpoint management is not as robust as I would like it to be.","JumpCloud remote access lacks the ability for unattended access, which is critical for my needs.","Initially, we faced issues with the JumpCloud client on machines not updating."}
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud lets me control who can access machines, saving time by not needing Azure directory integration, and simplifies endpoint management.
Reliable solution with excellent support and usability
What do you like best about the product?
The platform allows me to apply policies to large groups of machines simultaneously, which saves a lot of time. I can also run commands on specific machines when needed. Additionally, the dashboard is intuitive and easy to use, and the support team is very helpful and polite.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing that could be improved is the Commands Results tab — it should allow me to refresh the results without having to exit and reopen it. Additionally, there could be a better way to display the results to make them easier to review and analyze.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This platform has helped us address several key challenges. It has significantly improved our security posture by enforcing password length and complexity requirements, hardening machines, applying consistent policies, and maintaining secure desktop environments. Additionally, it has improved user management and provided an efficient way to maintain a complete and accurate inventory of our systems.
Easy Setup with Solid IDP and MDM Features
What do you like best about the product?
I have been using JumpCloud for around two years and find it incredibly useful for both Identity Provider (IDP) and Mobile Device Management (MDM) tasks. The setup was simple and straightforward, which was a crucial factor for our team when we first implemented it. I appreciate how JumpCloud allows us to efficiently manage our company's devices and facilitate employee logins, making IT management seamless. The ability to perform MDM is especially vital as we accommodate remote employees, ensuring their devices are securely managed. JumpCloud’s RADIUS functionality has proven to be particularly effective in enhancing our IDP capabilities. I am confident that if JumpCloud continues to add new features, especially ones that enhance control over Apple devices, it will integrate even more seamlessly into our workflow. This progression keeps me inclined to consider repurchasing and recommending the platform to others.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was more granular control over Apple devices.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use JumpCloud to perform MDM on devices and manage IDP, simplifying employee logins and supporting remote work efficiently.
Intuitive Portal and Stellar Support Make Jumpcloud a Standout Choice
What do you like best about the product?
I like how fluid and well-designed the Jumpcloud admin portal is. It provides all the information that you need without bothering you with a Tsunami of text and over stimulating your brain to struggle to focus on what you are trying to achieve. The portal is really self-explanatory for what you are wanting to achieve with your client devices.
If you run into an issue, their customer support is top-notch and always willing to help make sure you are not left in the dark.
I would recommend Jumpcloud to anyone who wants a powerful cross OS platform for your business.

Jumpcloud is all about simplifying and that alone is top tier in my books.
Excellent SSO and Device Management, But Clunky Password Manager Experience
What do you like best about the product?
Jumpcloud is great as far as SSO integrations for other applications, and device management goes. I use the SSO page for AWS and Gitlab daily.
What do you dislike about the product?
Using the device agent, and jumpcloud password manager feels very clunky.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jumpcloud has helped us to meet ISO27001 and Cyberessentials Plus by allowing us to put standardised controls in place. This has made cumbersome certifications much more accessible to us as a small organisation.
