    Brandon F.

An easy-to-use, flexible and efficient management system

  • May 15, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the reliable and convenient nature of Jumpcloud. It is easy to configure users and their access, which makes onboarding easy for both experienced and new users. What sets them apart from the competition is their ongoing commitment to improving system reliability with each release update. When getting started with JumpCloud, new users will appreciate the many tutorials that provide quick guidance on how to get the most out of all the features, as well as the customer support that is always available when needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike Jumpcloud's lack of a bulk load user feature and its inability to provide broader access features beyond those intended for administrators with billing rights. This limitation weakens our ability to control who receives sensitive invoices, which can lead to unintended parties acquiring confidential information. I believe the platform could provide better options that would mitigate such issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a user, JumpCloud helps me protect my sensitive data by implementing strong security measures such as strong encryption and multi-factor authentication. This makes it difficult for malicious actors to access confidential information stored on our systems, and protects us from unauthorized activity.

Enables employees or subcontractors outside a company to connect to its network securely

  • May 15, 2023
  • Review provided by PeerSpot

What is most valuable?

JumpCloud enables different kinds of connections and enables employees or subcontractors not within the company to connect to our network securely.

What needs improvement?

A nice feature called patch management with different kinds of licensing is not included in JumpCloud. I'm also interested in sharing experiences with people in the local market, like engineers.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using JumpCloud for one year.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

I rate JumpCloud a nine out of ten for stability.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

I'm working with smaller companies with around 28 or 50 users using JumpCloud.

How are customer service and support?

We had contacted JumpCloud's technical support once because of a security issue and on another occasion because of a bug in the system. JumpCloud's technical support was very responsive.

How would you rate customer service and support?

Positive

How was the initial setup?

There were some difficulties in installing JumpCloud. It took several weeks or months for us to deploy the solution.

What about the implementation team?

We implemented the solution in-house.

What was our ROI?

We have seen an ROI with JumpCloud.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

JumpCloud's monthly license costs around $25 for the complete solution. However, the lower versions' costs start from four dollars onwards based on the kind of functionality you choose. I rate JumpCloud a seven out of ten for pricing.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

Before choosing JumpCloud, we evaluated the product Slack.

What other advice do I have?

I am using the latest version of JumpCloud. One or two engineers are needed to do the maintenance for JumpCloud. I would recommend JumpCloud to other users.

Overall, I rate JumpCloud an eight out of ten.

Use it to improve system security and better management with identities

  • May 15, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
We have recently used perfect solutions to improve and add security layers with how our workers can access and log in to the system and application we use for work.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not dislike it because all the tools offered by JumpCloud have helped us manage security and repel an attack.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Since all the tools for security can be found on JumpClound, we managed to reduce the IT cost and terminate other IT stacks that were used to manage several of our security features.

Excellent support with an impressive list of features

  • May 15, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Identity access management works well with our current business system and has no issues deploying the software. Integration with Paylocity gives the flexibility that we need with identity management.
What do you dislike about the product?
None. I have used JumpCloud for nearly three years and have no dislike, and the software has never disappointed us with its security features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Drastically improves the access procedure, which users will need to use the MFA to log in to the application. Password grouping lets users with the same credential level be edited quickly.

Quick review for JumpCloud

  • May 15, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Fast onboarding process and good integration option for our security system. Unified devices for fast access from personal smartphones and laptops make JumpCloud our favourite platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing for now. JumpCloud is a good security platform providing all the tools to strengthen our access and authentication process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
MDM features supervise and monitor devices' access to the internal system and only allow connection from verified devices. Managing workers' passwords and adding an MFA option to the login process adds better security.

Unleash productivity

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really like how Jumpcloud is committed to staying at the forefront of innovation in terms of scalability and user experience. I'm thrilled that they are constantly adding new features and value, and giving me the opportunity to provide feedback that shapes future enhancements. The customer service so far has been excellent, the setup of our account went smoothly, and their system is safe from any kind of breach or attack by cyber criminals because it's backed by a growing network. It's compatible not only with GSuite but also with other popular platforms, making it easy to roll out across my organization - people can learn how to use it quickly and easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not encountered any glaring problems with the Jumpcloud. However, I believe it could be improved in terms of ease of use for portal administrators and regular users to quickly log into the platform. In addition, more customization would be beneficial as we are currently using it mainly for VPSs but hope to expand its usage capabilities to include other applications such as TFS or similar in the future.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was struggling to share and manage credentials internally, which meant that access permissions were often misallocated or delayed. JumpCloud has freed us from this hassle by providing the ability to securely store all necessary information in a central repository.

To manage mobile devices in our corporate environment, including BYOD and COPE.

Authentication and access management provider

  • May 12, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Manage access authentication to follow the conditional access rules to block the IP address not on the safe list. It can be done in simple steps and work successfully.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. All the tools have performed wonderfully and have standardized our access policy and rules.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem that JumpCloud has helped with is Mobile Device Management. Registering workers' mobile devices to be able to access the internal system without repetitively having to authenticate it has sped up the process.

Easy way to manage access authentication

  • May 12, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Combining all the passwords and access control for our IT stacking into one controller has made the operation faster and easier. Adding new modules like MFA is quick and does not meet any issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have nothing that makes me least like JumpCloud. I have used all the tools and fully appreciate the easiness of this software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Identity management added to our password management system has unlocked many new features and abilities. We can now start using the SSO that helped users use one primary key to access all other software.

Feature rich tools application

  • May 12, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
We need a feature-rich IT platform that can be our access and authentication primary management platform, and JumpCloud is the best in both categories so far.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have no issues or dislikes about JumpCloud since they provide good access security but with inexpensive costs added to our IT budget.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Forcing users to follow our security and access rules can be done using the Password Policy Enforcement section. The standardized rules are to safeguard the connection and make password management easy to control.
