Tool Very complete and needed for every IT admin

What do you like best about the product?
single cloud-based console! Can reduce the complexity and cost of managing IT modern workplace. It also provides robust security features, such as multi-factor authentication, identity and access management, and auditing and reporting capabilities, which can help organizations protect their sensitive data and comply with industry regulations.
What do you dislike about the product?
I prefer to have a community based script for the automation that every IT admin can share with other around the world. This would help a lot to be compete as the other leader of MDM
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Well manage device easly without doesn't invest lot of time on configuration activities on Windows or Apple IT policy. They aggregate all the settings in one console.

Easy way to manage Macs and PCs

  • March 09, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
JumpCloud allows us to remotely manage both Macs and PCs which is an advantage over most Mac or PC-centric management platforms. With remote work being the norm we can control our assets and project data on them.
What do you dislike about the product?
Apple's FileVault protection introduces some issues with remotely adding or removing users. While we want the added security of FileVault, its protections get in the way of some of JumpCloud's great features. Another thing is that some of the advanced features of JumpCloud require knowledge of more sophisticated programming.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud's ability to add and remove users on a laptop allow us to reuse a Mac in our remote stores without having to ship the laptop back to our office for repovisioning.

What do you like best about the product?
Most helpful thing about using Jumpcloud is the fact that I can use SSO on machines without having a physical server on site. Saves us a lot of real estate
What do you dislike about the product?
That some OS's aren't supported and updates are somewhat slow
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving issues with the lack of real estate on site. Using Jumpcloud to manage SSO for machines for users

Every MSP needs Jumpcloud

  • March 09, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
We have been long-term partners of Jumpcloud. Our team has brought many ideas to the table- and Jumpcloud delivers on developing the tools we need to service our clients. We have been impressed with Jumpclouds ability to advance and become one of our most essential vendors. If you are looking for a partner that brings your IT needs and wishes to fruition, Jumpcloud is the vendor for your business.
What do you dislike about the product?
Jumpcloud is an investment. As an MSSP, this is a tool you need to have a game plan with. A developed company works excellently; for start-ups, I would look at partnering with an MSSP who has experience managing Jumpcloud, as the learning curve can be steep.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jumpcloud has allowed us to control our user management quickly and seamlessly. We can set up an onboarding user speedily and remove them just as efficiently. With Jumpcloud, you can forget many passwords but still put security as a top priority.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It will make managing users much easier. Save the headache and use jumpcloud.

Patching as a paid add on. I feel like that should be included in the price.

Password policy for end points. MDM solution. I use other tools for remote management.

Good for cross platform management with new features added regularly

  • March 09, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Being able to manage Windows, Mac, iOS, and Linux is very helpful. It is easy to use and support has been responsive. I also like that new features are constantly being added.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not as feature-rich as JAMF. Being that it is a newer service most vendors are unfamiliar with it and their documentation is specific to JAMF. I would also like a live terminal connection to devices to be able to run commands on the device without the need for building a command to execute.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We now have one pane of glass to manage both Windows and Apple devices. This has also helped streamline our on-boarding off-boarding process with the use of MDM and the ability to lock devices and suspend user accounts all in one place.
