Easy to assign applications to the end users
What do you dislike about the product?
Compliance concern compared to some other competitors (for example, Okta)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We benefit from permission control and management, application management. Traditionally we might need to configure user access inside each individual apps but we can do in a single platform.
Great product
What do you like best about the product?
I've tested a lot of other MDMs and this is the only one that actually works
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I had more access to other platforms
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before jumpclpud all of our systems were out in a nebulous space and now they are all in one space. This is great for remote work
3 1/2 years with Jumpcloud - My review
What do you like best about the product?
I love the ability to easily assign access to multiple devices with a couple clicks. Makes user management easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
The price has gone WAY up. To get barebones is expensive. All features should be separate, so the customer can purchase what they need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bringing together multiple cloud environments without the need to manage individual accounts on each environment.
JumpCloud has everything to manage you IT stack
What do you like best about the product?
Central manage all your devices under one platform. MDM, Office 365 AAD sync, BitLocker via policies, update management and more!! Password manager, remote support, too much to name... it's awesome!
What do you dislike about the product?
Complicated pricing, they should stick to bundles instead of add-ons that cost way too much money compared to other solutions on the marker. This is the only bad thing about the service.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Multi-device MDM
I wish I had JumpCloud earlier in my 10+ years consulting
What do you like best about the product?
Jumpcloud is one of the easiest ways to get your entire organization on board the 2FA train across all of your platforms. Its power is much greater than it's SSO offering, giving you device insights, package management, single click help desk requests, simple RADIUS deployment, and even cloud based LDAP! It's 10 user trial with zero limits also gave me enough time to plan and test implementation for its featureset. I highly recommend Jumpcloud
What do you dislike about the product?
It could use better real time insights and reporting, possibly an api endpoint for log store.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It was hard to manage getting users to follow the rules of security across so many cloud based platforms. Being able to manage all credentials from a single cloud that has multiple avenues of 2FA solved this problem. Software provisioning during our onboarding process was also a mess that's been greatly improved with Jumpcloud's package deployment offerings.
Simple set up
What do you like best about the product?
It supports Mac which was a big plus for us.
What do you dislike about the product?
It doesn't appear to support roaming profiles for our windows workstations
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jumpcloud helps with computer maintenance and administration.
Easy and efficient MDM solution
What do you like best about the product?
The rapid deployment and easy to configure for devices
What do you dislike about the product?
SOme addictional controls for Linux and an Endpoint solution. Remote support is also welcome.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
to provide centralized autentication and authorization policy based and to be able to wipe and monitor de use of the device
Amazing solution that overlaps multiple verticals
What do you like best about the product?
JC automates our (1) employee and (2) device lifecycle, keeps Office365 and Gsuite in-sync with our HRIS system as well as enables us to effortlessly roll out LDAP, SSO, a password manager and device policy and management for PC, Mac and iOS.
What do you dislike about the product?
JC currently doesn't allow "sleeping" or deactivating users. All users are billed unless deleted. It also doesn't have a good solution for contractors, "guests" or other external users to manage access. Hoping they work towards this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Its solving multiple problems, mainly being the automation and governance of employee and device lifecycle management. It also handles passwords, SSO, policy and remote support.
Good tools for remote management
What do you like best about the product?
Jumpcloud is one of the few device management platforms that works with multiple operating systems. We use it to manage our windows and linux corporate devices. They make it easy to get started and their free tier of 10 users/devices is a great way to get started with device management at a small organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing structure can be a little bit confusing when you first get used to it. It can be hard to design a plan/bundle that has the needed features while keeping the pricing competitive with other device management services.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jumpcloud helps us solve our MDM requirements for windows and linux devices. Very few groups offer easy linux device management so streamlining this into a single service prevents us from needing an additional management system.
