Directory-as-a-Service as it should be!

  • July 28, 2020
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use. Supports both Windows and Mac platforms along with upcoming MDM custom mobile-config integration for Mac OS which is cost saving to drop other platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some interfaces are a little slow to load for large organisations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Directory/IAM for the organisation on multiple OS platforms (Windows & MacOS) without Active Directory involved.

Reasonable SSO platform, but should focus on one thing and do it well

  • July 28, 2020
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Simple to use, works pretty much everywhere that I need it to.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lacking some really basic functionality like nested groups. Their focus seems to be more on building MDM then doing their core product really well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SSO across our organization
Recommendations to others considering the product:
N/A

JumpCloud has been the antidote to identity chaos

  • July 28, 2020

What do you like best about the product?
Management of server SSH keys, a whole library of compatible SAML integrations
What do you dislike about the product?
Until recently, lack of verbose logging. Also the inability to simply "archive" a user without completely deleting the user.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Staff only need to use one password to log in. User onboarding and offboarding is easy. No more Active Directory or LDAP, which has frankly resulted in a better quality of life.

Just the right solution for the remote cloud world

  • July 28, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Supporting a mixed environment of operating systems
What do you dislike about the product?
Policies still being developed but more than enough for now
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Multi OS management with support for radius. No longer need a server onsite.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking to move away from onsite servers and support multiplatform environments, this is a top solution.

JumpCloud - Easy And Manageable

  • July 28, 2020
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
JumpCloud is easy to setup, and update. SSO is amazing. And with the new upgrade, there are more features and tools to help administer computers remotely!!
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were more DR resources to use, not that there aren’t several. Easily setting up offline folders is still in the future. Also waiting on the remote access (rescue) feature.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Password management (offsite), computer health monitoring, and user management.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Don’t delay, you’ll be happier once your users can only access resources you want them to, and they can fix their password mess ups.

JumpCloud isTHE BEST solution for always-on, cloud-based, authentication and management

  • July 28, 2020
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
JumpCloud works in-office and remote. As long as the System is online in some fashion (which it should be), JumpCloud works
What do you dislike about the product?
More pre-built commands to try to do what GPO does in an AD environment would be great
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Enabling a very mixed workforce of Macs and PC laptops in a HIGHLY distributed environment (one day remote, next day in the office, next day on the road)
Recommendations to others considering the product:
JumpCloud is a great solution. It doesn't offer the level of detail that AD+GPO does, but ask yourself how much you use GPO and before you discount JumpCloud, see if it can do what you're doing today with Group Policy. You might be surprised

Easy to use, perfect for running a lean IT team!

  • July 28, 2020
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The interface is really clean and it's easy to setup computers with user logins. I use this software for my organization of 180 and it allowed our company to grow with myself (Co-founder and CTO) to be the only IT manager. Jumpcloud has ensured that my company can work very lean which saves us a lot of money as we do not have to hire IT admins or IT consultants since the software is straight forward.
What do you dislike about the product?
It doesn't automatically sync the passwords when you import the GSUITE accounts. It would be nice if they had a more user-friendly tutorial accompanied with a technical implementation explanation on how it should work with the organization. Maybe even an example on how we would use that feature within our organization.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Single Sign On for GSUITE and Computers for my staff. I am able to lock ppl remotely when we let go of someone. Something we had to do when we all had to work remotely from COVID-19

Jumpcloud is the tool for security 2.0

  • July 28, 2020
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Jumpcloud was a shift in our software and security thinking. It took us from being a business that thought of security as a side note to a business that understood that we needed to be cybersecurity first and convenience second. We went through a rebirth of sorts and whilst it was a pain for the first week or two, now, I can't imagine not using Jumpcloud to manage our infrastructure. It is an impressive piece of technology that allows us to better understand the digital breadcrumbs that can allow us to work both internally and externally to protect our data and by extension our Client's data. Given that we work in a law firm environment, something like that is vital.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a teething period when a person comes to use a new technology and jumpcloud definetly did that. Having to improve our understanding and information to the point where we used jumpcloud properly was somewhat tedious and annoying.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving the problem of ensuring that we can authenticate which user and where.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You should ensure you have an IT provider who understands and is best able to work with you to make sure that Jumpcloud is up to scratch. It needs some TLC and some understanding to improve the system to the stage where is it understood and easily integrates. That being said, it is the kind of product that can replace an entire host ofo ther products once it is up and running so that makes it a very powerful and worthwhile investment in both time, money, energy and appropriate levels of stress.
