Great Alternative to AD for SMB!
What do you like best about the product?
JumpCloud is cost effective and allows us to deploy user management, in place of Active Directory where it is BEYOND SIMPLE for our technicians and clients to manage users and devices!
What do you dislike about the product?
The complexity of integrations such as Duo and O365 is challenging to wrap around at first and requires a bit of trial and error to configure accurately. Once deployed, all works great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Today, junior engineers do not know how to deploy correctly, configure and manage a solution as complex as Active Directory, so this allows us to manage users and devices without the extensive training needed for engineers.
Ace up the IT team's sleeve

Modern Alternative to Active Directory
What do you like best about the product?
I love the simplicity of JumpCloud for user management. Add a user, bind to a machine, and log in 30 seconds later.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the newer features such as remote assist, don't seem to be well thought out. For example, to join a remote assist session, the remote user has to enter a lengthy alphanumeric code. However, give them time and I suspect they'll sort this out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud helped us easily tackle remote authentication, identify and access management, and ensure access to our team's SAAS applications is secure as employees join and leave the company.

I really like the platform support of Linux, MacOs and Windows. Also the iOS support is a great option which I will check very soon. I'm glad that the Google Workspaces integration works perfect for the admin needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm not able to reply on this question except the additional need of Apple Management certificate, I'm sure that this will not be the case for the near future when Jumpcloud improves its systems.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main benefit from my point of view is the Endpoint Device Managem system which allows remote administration not only for the business but also for personal needs its great!
