    Non-Profit Organization Management

Great Features and Customer Service

  • February 14, 2024

What do you like best about the product?
The many features and configurartions offered for multiple operating systems instead of just one (lookin' at you, Jamf Pro). Remote support is easy with JumpCloud, which is essential our fully remote company. And being able to chat with a support engineer in seconds is super helpful for troubleshooting!
What do you dislike about the product?
Due to the many different configurations, the KBs about the bind/account provisioning process specifically can be a little vague and/or hard to follow. There is sometimes conflicting advice from one article to the next depending on the organization's current settings (e.g., account takeover being support or not, depending on if you have SSAP enabled), so I found myself having to contact our support rep or a live support engineer in the chat often to clarify things that were not clear on the KBs. Remote Assist works well for Macs, but is a little finicky on Windows machines sometimes. I wish there was an asset management feature. I love the ability to create custom software packages such as Google Chrome, but I dislike that you have to manually udpate the installer when a new version comes out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our organization is fully remote, with employees all over the world. By harnessing the power of JumpCloud's MDM, we can ensure our assets are secured and less likely to be comprimised, and create a zero touch onboarding experience for new employees. Integrating JumpCloud with BambooHR and Google Workspace directory has allowed us to easily ensure new hires 'accounts are set up so they have access to company resources on their first day.

What do you like best about the product?
Jumpcloud is so easy to implement and deploy. It is easy to use and it has so many features. It is pretty easy to Integrate and they have really good Customer Support.
What do you dislike about the product?
The downside is that other alternatives offer better features, and there is easier integration and features on other platforms.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jumpcloud is solving SSO problems for us, the features are great, and the overall experience is really good.

Being a Global company Jumpcloud has been very valuable.

What do you like best about the product?
Being a cloud based User/Device management tool has helped us keep track of devices and users credentials. The deployement of devices has been a lot easier being domain-less, we can set up devices and ship them and the users just logs in without needing a VPN connection. We also can shut devices off remotely and do support remotely for our users. The SSO features also have helped us connect a ton of platforms to our account which helps our staff not have to remember a bunch of passwords. If you are looking multi OS platform to manage users this is the best.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do wish Jumpcloud could be more robust in providing reports pulled from the data aquired by the agents on devices. This will give a value to IT teams with device managment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being cloud based helps us cover users all over the Globe, we are able to push device policy without concern it will be applied to remote devices.

JumpCloud Swift Progress in Identity Management

  • February 14, 2024
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The platform is designed with a user-friendly interface that makes navigation and configuration a breeze. This ease of use extends to the management of both Windows and Mac computers, allowing for seamless integration and control across different operating systems. Additionally, JumpCloud's commitment to Zero Trust security principles ensures that our organization's data and resources are protected with the highest security standards.
Having used JumpCloud for three years, I've been impressed with the rapid evolution of its functionality and quality. The platform continuously improves and adapts to the changing needs of modern IT environments, making it a reliable and forward-thinking solution for identity management.
What do you dislike about the product?
One aspect I dislike about JumpCloud is the learning curve associated with it, particularly for teams that are new to cloud-based identity management. While the platform is user-friendly, there is still an initial adjustment period required to fully understand and leverage its capabilities.
Additionally, the pricing model, which is based on the number of users, may not be the most cost-effective option for very small or very large organizations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud allows for the centralized management of both Windows and Mac computers, regardless of their location.
The platform provides SSO capabilities, which streamline the login process for users by allowing them to access multiple applications with a single set of credentials.
JumpCloud's MDM features enable me to manage and secure mobile devices, ensuring that they comply with our organization's security standards.
The platform's conditional access policies allow me to enforce access controls based on specific conditions, such as user location or device compliance.
