One of the best cloud directories manager
What do you like best about the product?
The most significant upside of using JumpCloud is that our organization can use multiple cloud directories, sync them, and import the contact to our system.
What do you dislike about the product?
Creating a custom integration link with HR directories is difficult and keeps showing errors. Thankfully the support team manages to help with it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud has all management setting for devices, passwords and directories. It combines all the management into one platform for quick access.
JumpCloud: A convenient management platform
What do you like best about the product?
I love that JumpCloud allows us to centrally manage multiple operating systems, including Windows, macOS, and Linux. I'm incredibly excited about its capabilities for SSO and policy groups - key elements for a successful business. Moreover, our IT department is grateful that we can sync AD with it! And the best part? JumpCloud's cloud platform significantly reduces the IT team's time and resources on repairs and maintenance, allowing them to direct more of their efforts to more productive activities.
What do you dislike about the product?
Setting up jumps user accounts, modifying settings in bulk, and other complex tasks require technical knowledge, so it may be easier for less tech-savvy users to take full advantage of the platform with additional support.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud is solving the problem of unreliable server availability by providing a reliable, secure, and scalable platform that can be relied upon to deliver consistent performance across all workloads.
Useful tool in my data science projects to manage virtual machines and servers.
What do you like best about the product?
I use JumpCloud to control all of my machines and servers as well as those of my team members. It works with JumpCloud and is available for PC, Mac, and Linux. Software management and command execution can be easily performed from a central location. Existing customers can also benefit from JumpCloud, which improves data security and streamlines operations. Because the user isn't as tech-savvy as I am, I handle all maintenance for the Linux machine in particular. Because these machines frequently store sensitive customer information, SSO functions significantly improve their security.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can currently complete my tasks using JumpCloud. I don't have much to complain about because I haven't found any lacking features. Additional tools for app administrators would be greatly appreciated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm able to help my coworkers (an AI development team and a group of scientists) with their IT needs thanks to JumpCloud. They are more comfortable using the machines, and I can assist them with safe login while performing routine maintenance. JumpCloud helps the current user with the extensive maintenance required to keep the Linux machine running smoothly.
Excellent security and password manager
What do you like best about the product?
Access management is the best quality by JumpCloud as they provide several ways for organizations to strengthen security.
What do you dislike about the product?
We need more fluidity and easy access to the system from a mobile device. For now, it can only be accessed by a computer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us to manage and distribute different roles with adequate access to what they are authorized. It gives more security and makes sure no confidential information leaks.

It helps manage our system login password authentication and the device configuration with the system.

We need help from the dev team to configure our MDM, as the setting for the onboarding process is confusing.

JumpCloud elevated our security and privacy for identity management and ensured users complied with the policies.
Great security for user identity and access
What do you like best about the product?
The best with this platform is that the system is based on cloud and web service, which our administrators can access remotely and make changes from any devices they use.
What do you dislike about the product?
All the tools are working perfectly to our needs. No dislike from our organization for this software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The primary usage for this software is to manage our user authentication and access security. We also use it for device management, which supports Linux, Mac and Windows operating systems.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use, makes deployments and adding new users very easy. Always releasing new features. Especially for Apple devices, it gives lots of control and management ability

not really a dislike but more automation

ease of deployment of new machines and new users. Also the ability to manage the machines after deployment is pretty awesome
JumpCloud is the MDM provider you need!
What do you like best about the product?
JumpCloud places everything in one spot and gives me the power to cut off or provide access to any individual or group with just a few clicks. There is an awesome feature that JumpCloud provides which is their "MDM" feature that ensures that the JC agent is installed on all devices in my device fleet. If the agent is uninstalled for any reason, the MDM feature reinstalls it automatically so you don't have to worry about a rogue device! Another is the ability to push various policies to devices and have real-time updates on the posture of those policies. Any time there are issues with any of the policies bound to a device, JumpCloud provides the insight needed to take care of the issue. JumpCloud has saved my company a lot of money since they provide the tools I was paying for separately, such as remote assistance and policy management. I highly recommend purchasing and utilizing JumpCloud as this will provide any IT support specialist or equivalent with all the tools they need to manage their users and devices in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
Due to the power of this JumpCloud environment, without the proper training, it can be dangerous to make changes without having a thorough understanding of what each setting or configuration will do to the workspace. I had an instance where I synced my company's Google Workspace account to our JumpCloud environment, which locked every employee out of Google and changed their passwords to match their JumpCloud user account information. Again, learn from my mistake and do your research before making changes to your JumpCloud environment! Their support team has been great with providing the assistance I need for figuring these things out and understanding the results of changes before they happen.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We hosted a different MDM provider before swapping to JumpCloud. This other provider was full of bugs and often would extend the onboarding process from a single day to sometimes five days while I waited on their support team to get back to me. Since using JumpCloud, the onboarding process now takes less than a day since all software and settings can be provisioned directly within JumpCloud.
Great product to fit our needs
What do you like best about the product?
When people leave the company, we can shutoff accounts in one place. It gives us exceptional control over company machines.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's a sizeable lift to get it installed when you have lots of employees.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Machine and account control across our 36 different brands and 1000+ employees. We can now enforce policies across participating machines.
How it simplifies cloud Security & Management!
What do you like best about the product?
I'm thankful for the versatility that JumpCloud provides with its centralized identity and access management. With just one password, our users can easily control their access to almost any resource, which boosts efficiency and security. Moreover, being cloud-based allows us to manage user accounts from any location in the world - another advantage over conventional solutions! It flawlessly accomplishes what it sets out to do while also allowing me peace of mind knowing everything is taken care of seamlessly.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be beneficial to provide more options for the users of JumpCloud by adding support for Chromebooks and Windows Package Manager. Additionally, a guide or user-friendly system could help simplify the process of creating custom commands, thus eliminating much trial and error associated with it currently. Such measures would improve overall satisfaction and incorporate our information gathered through remote command systems into Gateway functionality.

Organizing employees into groups with the help of JumpCloud can make user authentication and program access more accessible than ever before while also making it more straightforward for companies to fulfill their users' demands. Additionally, introducing new features or updates to existing programs is becoming hassle-free shortly.
