Great MDM Provider for Linux, Windows, Mac, and Mobile
What do you like best about the product?
I love that they continue to add new features every quarter; ex Password Manager, Remote Assist, and Mac Policies. I also love their Slack Workspace where I continue to learn and can ask any questions I might have.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't particularly appreciate that they removed the Encryption Widget from the home page without notice. They need a better way to inform their customer of new changes: email, RSS, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
IAM Directory
Asset Management

macOS Zero Touch Enrollment using DEP and VPP.

The Best SSO Option Out There
What do you like best about the product?
A huge plus about JumpCloud is that credentials are cached locally. That means that were there to be a problem with the connection to their servers (though this hasn't happened to us), we would still be able to access our infrastructure.
What do you dislike about the product?
In the months that we've used JumpCloud, there has been *nothing* that we have found frustrating or bothersome.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed an MFA and SSO solution that worked with a mixed environment of Windows and Linux servers. JumpCloud is meeting this need admirably.
JumpCloud has been a good alternative to active directory
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use makes it a good solution.
What do you dislike about the product?
Wish the pricing could be more competitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Centralizing management of user identities and devices.
Comprehensive and easy to use SSO provider
What do you like best about the product?
Jumpcloud's interface is super easy to understand and use. The Knowledge base of solutions is top notch and it has been handy when setting our IdP. We were able to integrate with our applications very quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
It seems like the UI/UX is for ease of use over the speed of use. I wish there was a pro mode for the UI that increases the information density and allows one to access the functions from one page instead of clicking through several pages.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SSO, IdP and Identify management are the issues that Jumpcloud is solving for.
Great Service
What do you like best about the product?
This service allows you to replace on site Active Directory server with a cloud based solution to manage users across multiple devices - it works so well!
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing that I can think of - all works well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves the need to use Active Directory... which has enabled us to get rid of an on site server.
Easy to use and works well
What do you like best about the product?
Integration with MS365 Entra for user sync and MFA. They keep adding features that are useful over time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Dir sync stopping a few times but was not hard to get fixed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Central device managment and MFA. Inventory information.Central device management and MFA. Inventory information.
Pretty nice experience, but some features needs to be perfected :)
What do you like best about the product?
This helps us a lot on distributing security policies
What do you dislike about the product?
In my honest opinion, password manager and package distribution (via .dmg images).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
To keep our PCs updated and configured as we want to
Solid MDM+ Platform
What do you like best about the product?
Robust product and feature offering and support for multiple OS' streamlining management to a single platform for our organization and team. Innovation and new feature release cadence a really big plus as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not so much a dislike, and they're very honest and upfront about it, in that the product will do 80% of what some of the other "so called leaders" in the space do which is a valued trade off in the product supporting various needs we have as an organization beyond just MDM and VPN
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
VPN, MDM, User identity management and device/hardware policy management. Basically ensuring we can secure our users devices, account and network access via a unified platform
It is a tool with a lot of potential
What do you like best about the product?
its simplicity and ability to scale to multiple alternatives
What do you dislike about the product?
Support in languages other than English would be desirable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
authentication and SSO
A great replacement for Active Directory
What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact that it's a great replacement for active directories and how easily it integrates with office 365. The fact that I'm able to manage laptops without expensive Overhead gives me the ability To invest in other places
What do you dislike about the product?
Still needs a little work to be a full intune replacement, but it's pretty close
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I no longer need an Active Directory infrastructure
