Simplifies provisioning
What do you like best about the product?
Authentication of Mac's, software management
What do you dislike about the product?
Branding ability is limited for MSP's deploying it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easily the best feature is user provisioning and security on Mac's
JumpCloud is a great replacement for on premise Active Directory.
What do you like best about the product?
The endpoint security is and SSO option is great for us. It is a cost effective replacement for on premise Active Directory.
What do you dislike about the product?
The screens could use more filtering options on user groups, device groups and policy and software mgt as having 100s of users and devices makes searching an issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to lock out a user as the endpoint in near real time is a tremendous security feature for us.

What do you like best about the product?
I have used mostly the SSO service. And the intuitive UI makes it easier to manage OIDC clients configurations

Should have built framework for different languages for integrating with their OIDC client

Flexibility, crossover, easy deployment, friendly GUI

Jumpcloud integrates well with many applications and the end user interface is easy to navigate

The main upside is having many of your applications tied into one console.

I don't like that the windows that pop-up for Jumpcloud don't integrate all the time with LastPass password manager

MFA is great and the benefit is a more secure environment

What do you like best about the product?
Jumpcloud makes SSO Easy to deploy, It also makes management of user's in mac only environment easy without needing to add Active Directory.
What do you dislike about the product?
JumpCloud platform is growing, Like most SaaS additional features increase your cost. Support has had it challenges in the past year but has seemed to get better in the past couple months.

IAM without a directory. We are Mac only enviroment and needed something to take care of SSO and we did not want to install windows AD
Versatile cloud identity solution
What do you like best about the product?
Jump cloud features a varying array of tools to accomplish a huge number of administrative tasks for managing your infrastructure. It can serve as a direct AD replacement, it features identity management, Device Management, remote control and a host of other fantastic features. The list of what it can do always seems to be growing.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing structure for a large group wasn't as inexpensive as I had hoped. It's still a good price for the value it offers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We looked at jump cloud as it identity management solution. The other features were just a bonus. The fact that you can completely import your existing act, directory domain makes It's super easy to get started.
Comprehensive and doesn’t take a team to manage!
What do you like best about the product?
JumpCloud is not only a comprehensive IAM/MDM/Directory mgmt platform, but the integration between the components and intuitive UI makes management of the platform easy and takes less hours vs multiple other tools to achieve the same or less result. Oh, and support is great too!
What do you dislike about the product?
JumpCloud isn't necessarily the best option for each of the components but overall it's a very strong option!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It brings multiple tools into a single UI saving money and time. I also love pulling directory services into this platform bs 100% Azire AD. We use less people for mgmt of these tools now.
Worries-free user management
What do you like best about the product?
The introduction of JumpCloud in a small company like mine, where IT management is only a marginal part of my activities, has allowed me to free up a lot of time from user management operations at the domain level. The benefit was immediate and the product implementation was enthusiastically received by the whole company
What do you dislike about the product?
Many look at the cloud and SaaS with great distrust, considering the fact that you don't have total ownership over the data. Although this is partly acceptable, it doesn't worry me much, having total trust in the provider.
Furthermore, with the support of the API, there is no lock-in, which occurs with the use of many other technologies.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Even with a numerically reduced team, the management of shared resources and utilities had become a problem. Now, with managed accounts, we have totally revolutionized all our services, implementing, according to our needs, login via LDAP, SSO or OpenID.
Jump Cloud is a complete solution that saves a lot of overhead cost and time !

The fact that it's a cloud solution and we do not need to do any overhead maintaining servers.

The interface could be organized in a more ergonomic way with a better coloured theme

Jumpcloud helped us reduce our manhours previously allocated to manage equipments across different operating systems.
