It’s been amazing. Very easy to use and setup in minutes
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to do IdP, SSO, and Device Management in one place
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the policies and things don't apply automatically to the device. Software install doesn't work all the time
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to do device management is helping us with our It audits
Ease of use
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to set up users on the platform. The user is able to log in immediately after the setup is complete. Setting a lock date for an account of a user makes it easy to manage multiple users whose contracts are about to expire. It is very simple for first time users and they also have a learning section whereby they provide learning materials for various things to do.
What do you dislike about the product?
The jumpcloud agent on the laptops at times usually does not automatically run. This makes it quite difficult/ cumbersome for users to change their password and also enforce password policies.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing the organization's users, and enforcing password policies. We are able to have peace of mind knowing that users will be changing their passwords as per the organization's policy
Cloud based Active Directory for SME's
What do you like best about the product?
Simplified Active Directory tool that makes managing multiple users across multiple Operating Systems easy and efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are too many paid tiers to select from, which can become overwhelming. Some features can be tested during a trial period, which need to be monitored carefully.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Fewer operation costs than managing and supporting an on-site Server. A more intuitive interface requires less training time.

Powerful MDM for IT Admins
What do you like best about the product?
I really like how intuitive the system environment is for managing not just Apple products, but Android and Windows as well. This has allowed us to allocate money that we would normally, back into the company.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm not a fan of how difficult it can be to upload a custom app into the management system. This can be difficult because we manage and offer very specific applications to our users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud is solving the problem of only being able to manage one operating system in one environment. With JumpCloud, we can manage multiple different operating systems.
Centralized hub of dreams for a small start up
What do you like best about the product?
UI/UX! JumpCloud is thoughtfully organized, while maintaining the ability to be granular with policy and device assignments. We run a half Mac / half PC shop and Jumpcloud has allowed management of all devices to be nearly identical.
What do you dislike about the product?
My only negatives are the features that are on the roadmap are not yet here! Being a small shop starting from the group up, features such as inventory would make this package complete.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud is a perfect compliment for an organization that is working towards their SOC II. This has solved password management across PCs and Macs and has made a one person IT department viable at the moment.
Active Directory Alternative
What do you like best about the product?
Simple LDAP alternative to Microsoft on-prem AD
What do you dislike about the product?
JumplCloud wants to charge for every new product or feature
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
it's our new cloud-hosted AD
Great Solution for Mac Heavy Businesses - Hoping for Additional Future Features for Other OS support
What do you like best about the product?
This solution is fantastic for the Mac heavy businesses. There are plenty of policies to be able to secure devices, push out updates, and remotely manage the machines. The touchless deployment for the Mac OS works perfectly for our business needs to let a new hire employee auto-enroll a Mac machine before even accessing any company resource. Payloads are easy to configure and very easy to assign to device groups. Also very glad this supports Linux as well with more configuration policies than other UEM solutions.
What do you dislike about the product?
JumpCloud is still in the works of having all equal support for all the major OS which some important features such as touchless deployment + enrollment for Windows and Linux are lacking. Another big feature that is still in the works for the future is remote support tools (file transfer, screen sharing, remote cmd line tool) which if you need to support your users with that currently, that feature is not yet available. This is not a big dealbreaker currently as 90% of my users are power users, but if you have less technical users and are in need of remote support tools immediately then you will need third party solutions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We wanted to address touchless enrollment for Macs for better security posture and the JumpCloud solution worked perfectly when tied with our Apple Business Manager. It makes laptop setup for remote new hires seamless as we can track when the computer has been powered on and enrolled to begin onboardings. Another item this tool has helped us with is being able to tag a user to a specific device and build out policies for the user accounts or computer accounts for either.
I think there is still room for progress
What do you like best about the product?
A lot of knowledge bases are easily accessible and a big community
What do you dislike about the product?
Not consistent, installing an agent can work perfectly 1 time and then take 30 minutes to sync for no reason
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
having 1 system to manage both Windows and Mac devices
