Nothing really stood out for me, I really like the platform
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jumpcloud benefits most companies by not only being a great AD, but the MDM is really easy to use for anyone with little knowledge of IT to the CISO.
The One-Stop IT Management Superpower
What do you like best about the product?
Jumpcloud is a easy-to-use LDAP & Mobile Device Management Solution out there. The onboarding was easy and the support team is prompt. It's a much better alternative to AD. Cross-platform Device & Policy Management offers great value.
What do you dislike about the product?
Android device Management could make the product complete. Policy creation presets are very limited on macOS and can be improved to cater various configurations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used Jumpcloud to Manage the Remote Onboarding of the employees during the COVID-19 Pandemic. It also easily integrates with external directories like Google Workspace to manage the users under one roof. Multiple OS Compatibility is a great saviour for managing the packages.
Jumpcloud — Your Organization's Cloud-based Collaboration Platform
What do you like best about the product?
With JumpCloud, users have the power to manage their workflows in a centralized system. This makes it easy to deploy new software and applications without having to worry about systems and networks.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing to complain about with the JumpCloud platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being tied to licensing fees and the deep knowledge required with Azure for being limited to specific OS types. The JumpCloud platform is easy to use and flexible, making it ideal for users who are looking for a tool that will help them streamline their workflows. Jumpcloud provides a helpful, well-organized policy management system with SSO and directory management features that are valuable in a Microsoft environment. The policies include modules for creating your GPOs, which are similar to those in Microsoft environments but only make registry changes. They're powerful and useful tools.
Additionally, having all of your desktop administration in one place is another advantage of using Jumpcloud applications

It is a powerful all-in-one tool.
What do you like best about the product?
We like the SCIM and Apple Zero touch deployment feature which could decrease our burden in managing device and user access.
What do you dislike about the product?
Firstly there is no way for Windows to have Zero-touch deployment for the MDM without Azure AD, while we are implementing JumpCloud at the very first because we don't want to have Azure AD.
Secondly, there is an issue when typically forget their password and stuck on the login page (where it does not have internet). This becomes a problem as we need to help users remotely by login into another account and making JumpCloud synchronize.
Lastly, during the offboarding, sometimes we need to delete a user account and their files, but JumpCloud currently only allows us to do suspension (disabling account). Thus, we still need to manually delete that resignee account from the computer.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The need of configuring our laptops manually, the burden of setting up user accounts across different platforms manually and it helps us to onboard the laptop for new hires quickly.
Simple and Perfect
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it was to implement JumpCloud on all of our workstations.
I have a novice IT background but I got it up and running before my onboarding call with the JumpCloud team.

What do you dislike about the product?
I am pretty happy with it. The support team made sure I got things set up just the way I needed to. I was looking for a solution that would let me avoid AD with my Google Workspace setup.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I did not want to use Active Directory alongside my Workspace accounts and after looking at several options JumpCloud was the solution for my particular problem. Any other option I looked at would fall short.
Easy to understand and setup
What do you like best about the product?
So recently I need to setup a sso for a project and i learned about keycloak and then jumpcloud. Jump cloud was so easy to use that i didn't even had to read the docs or watch any videos.
What do you dislike about the product?
For what my usecase was i didn't face much problems. But one downside of jumpcloud is that it doesn't have as much features as okta.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are building a b2b application so it is helping us integrate with all the business that are already using jumpcloud and so we don't need to store the passwords and any other authentication details of users.
If you're an SMB or run an MSP, JumpCloud could serve as your Cloud Directory AND your MDM too!
What do you like best about the product?
- JumpCloud has evolved a lot since we first rolled it out (Fall 2018).
- So if you're an SMB or run an MSP, JumpCloud could serve as your Cloud Directory AND perhaps your MDM too! (If you're over 1K users, perhaps not)
- I like how the JumpCloud Agent can keep your local macOS User Profile password including FileVault synced! (I don't understand how something as big and $$$ as Okta cannot do this natively?!)

What do you dislike about the product?
- Perhaps not JumpCloud's fault, but our brand new Kyocera TASKalfa MFPs could not integrate w/ LDAP for scan-to-email (I have to periodically upload a CSV using a Windows machine blechh).
- Decent response time on Support Tickets, but it would be a canned reply or a Tier 1 person (if I'm emailing you then yes, I've already run through troubleshooting steps A-Z). Once I CC'ed our CSM, she would loop in the proper Tier 2/3 person to assist.

- JumpCloud enforces password policies well
- I don't think our business performance has increased? Lol
