Unified Management and Seamless Integration, But Pricey
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate JumpCloud for its fantastic single pane of glass functionality, which allows me to manage multiple aspects of my IT infrastructure seamlessly. The platform's ability to integrate single sign-on for our applications and apply conditional access policies is incredibly useful and beneficial, providing a streamlined and secure working environment. Additionally, the flexibility JumpCloud offers by not locking into specific vendors is a major advantage. It works remarkably well across various platforms and devices, be it Mac, PC, iPhone, or Android. Managing everything centrally from the cloud, including device management, single sign-on, RADIUS for Wi-Fi login, and even LDAP for printers and scanning, is a significant benefit, especially with many remote workers. The transition and setup of JumpCloud were straightforward, which made it easy to integrate and move devices, even though it was somewhat time-consuming. JumpCloud effectively consolidated many fragmented systems into one cohesive and manageable platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the user interface a bit laggy and slow, which can be frustrating at times. Although improvements are ongoing, it's still an area that could use enhancement. Another aspect that I would change is the pricing. The transparency of the pricing model is lacking, making it difficult to understand the cost breakdown, and it seems a bit expensive for the features offered.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud centralizes device management, resolves fragmented systems, enables remote access, and streamlines onboarding during acquisitions. It provides cloud management for remote workers, integrates various services, and synchronizes tools seamlessly across platforms.

easy pw management and app deployment
What do you dislike about the product?
This integration doesnt work when the user is created in a hybrid AD environment, only on a cloud only AD environment. which is fine because everyone is moving to the cloud
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have been Using jumpcloud to manage Mac users with accounts managed in an active directory environment. Since implementing we no longer have to rely un the volatility of mobile accounts directory synced directly to the mac.

Reviewing JumpCloud
What do you like best about the product?
I love the easy layout that lets me add and remove students for some of our work systems. I also love the easy way that the systems will update on their own and include students.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would say the only challenge I have is that sometimes adding a student to multiple machines can be hard if you're running more than 10. I feel that is one of the only challenges.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am currently working and using these systems to help manage education systems for students. Allowing them to get on a Mac, get into coding, while still being able to help them remotely.
