Pricy, But Worth The Cost

  • November 18, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Jumpcloud's wide range of authentication methods supported is by far its strength. Having all of our internal users and their permissions in one place is incredibly useful, and the per-method output allows us to control who has access to what.
What do you dislike about the product?
The price is quite high for small businesses, though this can be overlooked due to the unparalleled feature set. The UI also leaves a bit to be desired at times, but it is not the worst.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jumpcloud allows us to better control and manage access to our different systems, pipelines, and software. The increased security and peace of mind that one login could be used everywhere is a huge benefit.

Pretty Solid Alternative to Microsoft/Jamf/Intune Deployment

  • November 18, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I liked that we didn't have to have multiple different vendors to do everything we needed to do for IAM, PAM, device management, policy management, software management, OS/patch management, SSO integrations, etc... JumpCloud was a one stop shop.
What do you dislike about the product?
I had a few minor issues early on, and support wasn't always helpful or prompt in some situations. I don't want to throw them under the bus, but I sometimes found myself repeating myself repeatedly when working with support.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud is solving the lack of multiple essential IT management tools. It allows us to streamline the rollout of many different IT functions without doing all the heavy lifting required by a Microsoft/Jamf/Intune environment.

Enjoyable Experience

  • November 18, 2022

What do you like best about the product?
I use JumpCloud as a MDM for apple devices. I was impressed with the free trial of JumpCloud. I liked that I was able fully use the platform without restrictions. Once I hit the cap on devices. I did try out another MDM. But it wasn't as polished as JumpCloud. I have decided to pay for services to fully manage all my Apple devices. Pricing for EDU customers is very inexpensive.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I have an issue with is, I can't push iOS updates via the console. But after speaking with Jordan Berry, I was informed that is feature is in the works.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The previous IT director was managing Apple devices as personal devices. I was not too fond of that for obvious reasons. As a K-12 school district, I have to make sure the devices a properly setup and safe for my students to use. JumplCloud allowed me to secure the devices and disable certain services, mainly FaceTime and iMessage.

JumpCloud Remote Assist is very helpful

  • November 18, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The latest feature JumpCloud Remote Assist enabled an intuitive and easy way to assist our end users.
What do you dislike about the product?
When managing macOS laptops, it's unclear when the commands and policies were completed in the laptops. It would be interesting if the status changed only when the final task were completed. For example, if I have a command that would install Google Chrome, using PKG. It would be good to receive the status completed only after the PKG was download and installed. Currently, I got the completed status, but the process is still in progress.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to create cool automation in order to enhance the laptop provisioning process. In addition, the workflows for user management are great.

Great platform to manage Endpoints, without having to rely on traditional Active Directory Services.

  • November 18, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It is a very systematic platform where one can manage Endpoints without having to rely on traditional directory architecture -- on-premise solution.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only drawback I found is the cost, apart from this all tools are good.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can remove our on-prem directory services and enroll all endpoints be it at any network, and manage them freely without hassle.

Great MDM Provider for Linux, Windows, Mac, and Mobile

  • November 18, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love that they continue to add new features every quarter; ex Password Manager, Remote Assist, and Mac Policies. I also love their Slack Workspace where I continue to learn and can ask any questions I might have.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't particularly appreciate that they removed the Encryption Widget from the home page without notice. They need a better way to inform their customer of new changes: email, RSS, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
IAM Directory

Asset Management

MDM for Mac and PC.

macOS Zero Touch Enrollment using DEP and VPP.

Software Management for Mac and PCs

Secure our Devices - Encryption, Screen Lock, Password policies, etc.

SSO / Identity Management

The Best SSO Option Out There

  • November 18, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
A huge plus about JumpCloud is that credentials are cached locally. That means that were there to be a problem with the connection to their servers (though this hasn't happened to us), we would still be able to access our infrastructure.
What do you dislike about the product?
In the months that we've used JumpCloud, there has been *nothing* that we have found frustrating or bothersome.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed an MFA and SSO solution that worked with a mixed environment of Windows and Linux servers. JumpCloud is meeting this need admirably.

Comprehensive and easy to use SSO provider

  • November 18, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Jumpcloud's interface is super easy to understand and use. The Knowledge base of solutions is top notch and it has been handy when setting our IdP. We were able to integrate with our applications very quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
It seems like the UI/UX is for ease of use over the speed of use. I wish there was a pro mode for the UI that increases the information density and allows one to access the functions from one page instead of clicking through several pages.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SSO, IdP and Identify management are the issues that Jumpcloud is solving for.

Great Service

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
This service allows you to replace on site Active Directory server with a cloud based solution to manage users across multiple devices - it works so well!
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing that I can think of - all works well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves the need to use Active Directory... which has enabled us to get rid of an on site server.
