Solid unified solution

  • March 10, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
1. This solution provides a single option to cover Windows, Mac and Linux for the business. No more need for Intune for windows, Jamf for mac and other solutions for *nix systems. This one hits all the high points.
2. Deployment is easy and documentation is spot on.
What do you dislike about the product?
The product has a solid UI and promises to be an amazing product in the future, but maturity is not quite there yet. But given what I have seen, I'm sure it will get there soon.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I did a POC with Jumpcloud to create a unified solution. This solution provides a single option to cover Windows, Mac and Linux for the business. No more need for Intune for windows, Jamf for mac and other solutions for *nix systems. This one hits all the high points.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
none

As an IT Engineer, I think it is pretty awesome

  • March 10, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
One login for all devices, without Active Directory, joining a domain, etc. and you can still deploy software and policies!
What do you dislike about the product?
No integrated remote control software - but it can deploy it!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am evaulating it, getting to know it, so am using it at home - but I have been able to simulate a local DNS server with JumpCloud scripts, which is awesome.

5 mouse clicks,Ticket Resolved=SLA Champ

  • March 10, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Select user, select device, select command from list of prior used command templates, select run view the results and green means it's done. Ticket closed, did not have to interrupt senior admins for guidance. Moving to next ticket. 5 clicks of the mouse.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike not having this when I was a young polliwog looking for help from the big fish without a KBA. I'm still learning it, but have been productive with 15 minutes of instruction, closed 1st ticket at new job!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
No negatives because I'm 2 weeks as a user, but from team members I hear that Active Directory type of group policy would make us old techs play air guitar after closing tickets.

A powerfull and intuitive Management Access Tool

  • March 09, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that is a one-stop escalable solution for all AAA management that's easy to use and implement. We use JumpCloud to authenticate with common apps such as Zoom, Slack, and Google Chrome.
What do you dislike about the product?
JumpCloud doesn't support MFA with LDAP and MacOS JumpCloud agent frequently de-syncs when there is a change on the network. They should improve the account importing system to become more secure.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With JumpCloud we provided automation on our company by allowing the users to automatically have access to any software they need instead of manual login into the applications. This has improved the overall performance of productivity in the company.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Is a great product to use, it may take some time to get used to all its features.

Great Customer Service and Product

  • March 09, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love how there are always meetings and educational webinars that admins can attend. It helps ensure that I am using Jumpcloud effectively and in ways that help me do my job efficiently.
What do you dislike about the product?
There have been some outages and slower than normal speeds at times I would need to get into Jumpcloud. Other than that I have nothing really negative to say about my experience so far.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have solved a lot of issues with users not installing updates because they do not restart their devices. So setting up something to force the restart to update devices is nice.

Easy to use, not expansive and cover what we need

  • March 09, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It has what we need to support SOC2 compliance
Easy to login and add users
Can be managed by partners (the team introduced us to a local partner and this was very helpful)
What do you dislike about the product?
We still needed a partner in order to use it and could not manage it alone
Transition of the account to the partner took time
It would be helpful if there was a "Soc 2" gudence / tutorial
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed it for SOC2 compliance
Also to secure endpoint equipment
We benefit financially since other products were more expansive or more complicated to use so it would cost more money to integrate
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Probably better than other solutions
Use a local integrator

Easy Computer Management

  • March 09, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I can easily assign users to computers, encrypt computers and enable MFA protocols. It is a great way to keep track of our devices. We also utilize the auto-update feature which has taken all the stress out of maintaining everyone's devices.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not found anything to dislike so far. It has been a great product for us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We really needed a service that would allow easy management of computers and be easy for non-IT trained admins to work with. This has worked great for us. With the ease of assigning computers to employees and the auto-update feature, everyone has had a much more seamless user experience than before JumpCloud.
