A comprehensive and user-friendly IAM solution for modern IT environments
What do you like best about the product?
JumpCloud offers a unified platform that simplifies identity and access management across multiple operating systems, including Windows, macOS, and Linux. I especially like its intuitive interface, seamless integration with tools like Google Workspace, Okta, and Slack, and the ability to enforce Zero Trust policies. The device management capabilities through MDM and endpoint insights are also a huge plus, helping us manage security at scale. Their cloud-native directory has allowed us to move away from traditional on-prem AD infrastructure with ease.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the overall experience is great, I’ve found that mobile device management (especially for iOS and Android) still lacks the depth offered by competitors like Intune or Jamf. Group policy controls can also be limited when trying to replicate traditional AD GPO functionalities. Additionally, as the number of users or devices grows, the admin UI can feel a bit cluttered. Premium support being tied to higher pricing tiers could also be improved for broader accessibility.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud has helped us move away from the limitations of traditional on-premises Active Directory by offering a cloud-based identity and device management solution. It solves the challenge of managing users, devices, and access across a distributed workforce, especially in hybrid or remote environments. With its centralized directory, we can easily manage user provisioning, enforce multi-factor authentication (MFA), apply security policies, and integrate with essential tools like Google Workspace, Zoom, and Slack.
The platform also simplifies onboarding and offboarding, saving us valuable time and reducing human error. Its ability to manage both Mac and Windows devices from a single console provides great flexibility, and the detailed activity logs enhance security and audit readiness. Overall, JumpCloud has significantly improved our IT operations, security posture, and user experience.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud centralizes user management, device management, and authentication in one platform. This saves me time, reduces password issues, and strengthens security by enforcing policies across all devices, helping our team work securely and efficiently from anywhere.
Remote workforce management became surprisingly intuitive with JumpCloud's unified control
What do you like best about the product?
We especially like that JumpCloud can provide consistent software configurations across our team which has members working on a variety of applications (including a variety of specialized creative apps). It guarantees that everyone is operating on identical ground not bringing about project compatibility ache. We also like its simplicity in providing temporary access of our external contractors. We can easily remove access and authorise access to certain project resources and not overshare.
What do you dislike about the product?
To code very specific policy scripts to run on an obscure design software one would have to do a little external testing before implementation. It would be just awesome to have additional guided templates to those specific use cases. Sometimes confirmation of policy application on a remote endpoint may not be performed as immediately as desired (visual). At times you have to rake around a bit to verify a definite state.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The constant part of our headache was the requirement to have consistent software environment between our team as creative folks as well as project specific contractors. A new designer may require an entire day to get his machine configured with the right versions and plug-ins, and because of the version control management there is a problem with the manager projects. With JumpCloud, since we have been using it, we silently deploy standard configurations and toolsets. The leaders of a project can now practice creativity rather than the hassles of mismatched software configurations.

Nothing. It's been working great for our firm of 250 employees.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has cut down on numerous processes that we were initially handing manually, i.e. provisioning, onboarding/offboarding, device management, etc.
Jumpcloud User and Device Management Solution
What do you like best about the product?
Jumpcloud makes syncing users across O365 and G-suite incredibly simple and intuitive. The ability to then manage user access from a single pane of glass is very useful. The interface is also incredibly helpful in gathering information on and managing connected devices

The integrations of Jumpcloud for it's intended purposes don't leave much to dislike from my experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jumpcloud makes onboardings and user management easy and intuitive
Many features in one platform
What do you like best about the product?
We really liked the ecosystem. We have everything we needed in a cost-effective identity package and then some. We were able to decommission our old identity provider and two MDM packages and consolidate into one platform. In addition to this, we increased our security posture with the Zero Trust feature, an integrated password manager, and GDPR compliance. We were also able to initiate an onboarding/offboarding solution with our HR system with a native integration.
What do you dislike about the product?
Implementation took a bit longer than we expected due to the complexities of offboarding other tools and integrating JumpCloud. During the sales process expectations could have been a little more realistic.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud is solving our Mobile Device Management(MDM), Identity Access Management(IAM), Remote Support, Governance, and Password Management opportunities. We benefit from these by simplifying all of these solutions in one platform. We have outsourced our Helpdesk and Security and require tools to manage multiple third-party privileged access, passwords, and Identities. This makes the process very simple.
Streamlined Onboarding with Minor Intuitive Hurdles
What do you like best about the product?
I find JumpCloud to be a cost-effective and comprehensive solution for managing Apple and Windows devices in our company. It significantly simplifies the onboarding and offboarding processes, making them almost effortless. These benefits ensure that equipment management and app distribution are streamlined, contributing positively to our operations.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the initial setup process somewhat challenging and not overly intuitive, especially concerning the linking of user groups to device groups, which can lead to system crashes. Additionally, the support services are inconsistent; while some representatives are excellent, others appear inexperienced and require extra time for research, leading to delays. Moreover, there is a recurring issue with computers not responding to network credentials when offline, which affects our mobile employees.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use JumpCloud for streamlined onboarding and offboarding, simplifying equipment and app distribution, which prevents multiple accounts on different devices. It boosts employee compliance with equipment return policies and eases my workflow by enabling rapid equipment turnaround.
