Effortless Management and Cross-Platform Power

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate how easy it is to manage, along with its strong cross-platform capabilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've experienced occasional problems with software deployment and policy enforcement, and I also find the pricing to be somewhat on the higher side.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This platform enables junior team members to provision access easily, thanks to its minimal learning curve. It also lets us efficiently manage Windows, Mac, and Linux systems all within a single platform.

What do you dislike about the product?
Challenging to navigate, especially when looking for specific functionality
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Good tools for managing software and configurations on Windows PCs; we didn't have a good tool to do this before (was using Meraki Systems Manager).

The initial reason we decided to implement JumpCloud was a recommendation from our external auditor. Since then, it has made managing our personnel devices much simpler.

The design is incredibly sleek and the interface is very user-friendly, providing a feature-rich experience right from the beginning.

Currently, I have no issues—everything is functioning as it should.

Simplified User Management with JumpCloud

What do you like best about the product?
I really like the all-in-one SSO feature of JumpCloud, which makes onboarding and offboarding a single-click process. The SSO and device management features have resolved a major hassle for our organization. I appreciate the radius authentication, device management, password policy, and remote assist features. JumpCloud being straightforward to set up was also a relief. It satisfies more than our current needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
We faced an issue with connecting JumpCloud's LDAP with our SonicWall firewall, and we raised both JumpCloud and SonicWall team's support, but it was unsuccessful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud solves our access sprawl problems and simplifies onboarding and offboarding with single sign-on (SSO) and device management. It eliminates manually tracking and disabling accounts, especially when a senior leaves, making it a major asset to our organization.

What do you like best about the product?
How it supports all devices, and has so many features packed into a single platform. Great alternative to Microsoft
What do you dislike about the product?
App support for integrations can be limited compared to something like Microsoft and Okta.

Also features can feel a bit incomplete.

Having to pay for a seperate pam solution
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Central management of devices, rmm, user management, SSO. So many features in a single solution.

It is compatible with all major devices, including iOS, macOS, Windows, Android, and more.

There isn't really anything specific that stands out to define its ease of use.

It assists with asset inventory by managing devices, distributing apps, and handling patch updates and upgrades.

Great Guidance Makes Setup Manageable, Even with SSO Challenges

What do you like best about the product?
Jumpcloud has significantly strengthened our security and compliance. It brings together multiple services; including identity and access management, SSO, MFA and device management in one central platform.The SSO and MFA features have been particularly valuable in reducing credential-related risks, while automated provisioning and deprovisioning ensure that user access is promptly updated when people join, move roles, or leave the company. It will help us greatly for our SOC 2 type II compliance as it provides clear audit trails and policy enforcement.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not super easy to set up without a technical team member, the SSO connections have been proving to be a little tricky but that is due to the nature of the work and not necessarily Jumpcloud. I think Jumpcloud offers great guidance to help make this as easy as possible.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is enabling us to show how we enforce our security policies which is important for compliance as well as being able to have more control over what employees can access
