  • December 07, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The onboarding process was straightforward. The JumpCloud interface is intuitive. I assumed that the disruption to our employees during the initial rollout would be high, but it has pretty much been a non-issue.
What do you dislike about the product?
We are looking forward to additional functionality on the remote monitoring and management side, namely remote desktop ability for all computers. This is an essential solution for supporting our employees from an IT standpoint.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As our company was growing, we were looking for a solution that would allow us to offer choice to our employees (Windows, Mac, Linux) without sacrificing security and oversight. Jumpcloud allowed us to bring Macs into the company and still behave as a good corporate citizen.

What do you like best about the product?
The SSO / IdP / directory features are very useful and is what we needed to move forward with some security protocols regarding authentication.
What do you dislike about the product?
The MDM part of JumpCloud needs some work. It's better than nothing, but it lacks severe features that every other MDM has. It should not be sold as an MDM.

JumpCloud: A Must-Have Tool for Every Business

  • December 07, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
One of the best things about JumpCloud is its Single Sign-On (SSO) integration, which allows users to access all of their applications with just one set of credentials. This feature not only enhances security but also saves time and improves productivity.

Another standout feature of JumpCloud is its Mac MDM enrollment, which makes it easy for IT administrators to manage and secure their Mac devices. This feature enables IT teams to enforce password policies, deploy software, and monitor device activity, all from a single console.

JumpCloud also offers seamless SAML integration with Google, enabling users to access Google Apps and other cloud-based services using their JumpCloud credentials. This feature streamlines the login process and eliminates the need for users to remember multiple login credentials.

Finally, JumpCloud's ability to suspend users from multiple groups with just one click is a major time-saver for IT administrators. This feature makes it easy to revoke access to specific applications or resources in a few simple steps, ensuring that security policies are enforced consistently and efficiently.

Overall, JumpCloud offers a range of powerful features and benefits that make it an excellent choice for organizations looking to streamline their user and device management processes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Despite being a reliable and secure tool, I was disappointed by the recent release of JumpCloud's password manager, which was unstable and had several usability issues. It's worth seeking an alternative password management solution if this is a critical feature for your organization.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One of the critical benefits of JumpCloud is that it provides a single point of control for managing user accounts across a wide range of applications and services. This makes it easier for our IT Team to manage user accounts, control access, and enforce security policies across our organization.

JumpCloud also offers a suite of device management tools, which includes Mac MDM enrollment. This allows us to manage administrative access on our employee's machines and keep track of the last time they were active.

Overall, the difficulties that JumpCloud solves benefit our companies' security, productivity, and efficiency.

JumpCloud, by delivering a consolidated identity and device management platform, assists our enterprises in streamlining IT operations, reducing complexity, and ensuring the security and compliance of our users and devices.

What do you like best about the product?
I feel the ease of access of things is very appealing. Things tend to be very accessible and straightforward when troubleshooting. This is especially the case to access devices within our company to make changes.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have noticed various API issues or outages within the past several months. I know that services can not be fool proof. However, it can really put me in a bind regarding my workflow and making changes to a machine. Pushing policies, associating users, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to push policies on the fly has been great. Encrypting devices is a vital part of our company and JC makes it a straight forward and simple process. JC shows clear indicators showing a successful encryption along with successful policy pushes.
